We came across the project and kittens in our local Petsmart.. we took a kitten for sleepover which we ended up adopting. We liked how they verify the people, address and existing pet vaccines.

I rescued a little baby kitten from a parking lot. Since I already had a cat and a dog I immediately started looking for a rescue to take him off my hands. The emergency vet recommended CATP and CATP agreed to take him on if I could continue to foster. They got him neutered and his shots. They even hooked him up with a kitten friend (at my request) so that he could learn how to cat.This is a really fantastic rescue.

We got our sweet girl Yumi from Cat around town project! We talked with the ever available and super knowledgeable Emily Reich who helped us pick a kitty that was the perfect one for us! These people really care about the cat-owner connection and work incredibly hard to match you with a pet that works for your needs. I can’t recommend them enough!!

I’ve been lucky enough to adopt two cats from CATp though really it feels like I was given two wonderful gifts. This group of big hearted animal lovers are truly special. They do so much to give community cats and their kittens the very best. I will always recommend them to anyone I know in the area who is looking for a pet to adopt. Dutch and Charlie are such sweet little souls and amazing additions to my little kitty crew.

Cat Around Town is endlessly devoted to homeless cats no matter what the circumstances are. I adopted an adorable 3 year old boy who was rescued from a feral colony. They made sure he was neutered and received extensive dental work to improve his quality of life. The people who run this organization provide foster homes, medical care and invaluable socialization to get these cats the best possible outcome. They have many success stories and adopting from them ensures that the next animal they meet has a chance at life as well.

CATP commits to their fosters 100%, even when things don’t work out in the home. I adopted two kittens, one of which became chronically ill. CATP immediately offered to take her back and nurse her to health, guaranteeing that she’d come back to me when she was healthy again. Unfortunately, her digestive issues were more serious than we realized; they recommended another cat to keep my kitten company. We are a happy family of five!

These people are amazing.I was a little skeptical about the process, it wasn't something I've ever done. But because of how much they care I was made apart of my guys life every single step of the way.. even got to see him be born! I always felt included and his foster mom was extremely responsive and always keeping me updated. Our guy is the perfect match for our family. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! They put All of their time and love into making sure you are getting a healthy beautiful companion.

We saw them at a local PetSmart adoption event to give our cat a friend and fell in love with one of their cats. The new addition from CATp was more playful than our current cat so a few months later we went back to CATp for a 3rd addition to our household and they are 2 peas in a pod. 4 years later, now, we are an emergency foster for CATp to help them with TNR and adopting cats into better lives than on the streets.

These people are incredible! We had hesitations going through a rescue for our new family member, simply because we’d heard about all the hoops you have to jump through. Our foster mom, Emily, made our process simple and easy while still being every bit as thorough as you would want someone to be protecting your baby. Once our pre-adoption was complete, I could not have asked for someone to have been more responsive or caring. We had weekly video chats with our new little one, and even more frequent photo updates. When she came home, she was healthy, fully vetted, and socialized, which made blending her into our home easier than we could have imagined. We love our new addition and couldn’t be happier with our adoption experience. If and when the time comes to add another member to our family, we won’t hesitate to contact cats around town.

The Cat Around Town Project is top notch! I personally know Emily, the Adoptions Coordinator, and this young woman is committed, responsible, knowledgeable and an incredibly hard worker! She has a deep love for all cats and treats them as though they were her own! She is amazing, as are the other volunteers who give so unselfishly of their time, money, devotion and love to these fur babies.

I adopted two babies who were being fostered separately. CATP put them together so that when they were ready to come home, they were already bonded. I received two sweet, affectionate, socialized babies. I could not be happier with my experience! ❤️❤️❤️

While I'm in Pennsylvania, I experienced the professionalism and love of one of the volunteers at CATP when I adopted my cat Bourbon from the local SPCA here. He came with a letter from Emily (who gets a letter when they adopt???), who had put Bourbon into CATP's Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) program, but then he'd graduated to porch kitty, then to indoor kitty in her home, and eventually made his way north for a better chance at adoption. It was clear that Emily had loved Bourbon when she was fostering him, and he's made a lovely brother for my other cat, Doppler. She's even sent me "baby" pictures of him when she first rescued him. Would highly recommend the wonderful work by CATP.

I am impressed by Cat Around Town’s TNR efforts in the county. They’re a responsive group working with only volunteers and no paid staff. The service they provide in the county is immeasurable. Lots of cats and kittens saved from horrific situations. This is a group of people who love cats, their community, and what they do.

Awesome group of people who care about the cats in their care till they find their forever home. They really cared about the cats we were interested in and helped us ensure a smooth transition of the new family member with our current cat. We chose an older cat after talking with them and what would be best for us with our current cat. Couldn’t be happier with the decision.
