Medium sized grocery store with reasonable prices and an intermediate sized variety of goods. You may have an option of two or threes types of honey mustard as opposed to 7 or 8, but do you really need 8 different honey mustard options? If one was subject to a blind taste test of 3 honey mustards repeated 8 times could one tell a difference between that and 8 different honey mustards?.It doubtful. Stop being a honey mustard elitist and go to Food Lion.

Excellent food, but since they remodeled the store the customer service is atrocious. I won't return, even though other stores are a longer drive. Last time I was there a cashier molested my grandson, trying to tickle him and kept touching him in spite of his mother holding the 2 yro in her arms and saying no. Today it's another rude hostile cashier. Go if you can tolerate abuse just to get good food.Note: This was not easy to post since this was our familys primary store for 15 years and we won't be going back -as of 8/9/19 @ 10 am

I stopped by this store right before Thanksgiving. An employee in the deli took the time to walk me across the store to the item I needed. I think her name was Breanna. Anyway, it was really appreciated. I also noted that the grab and go section of the deli was nice and clean as well as the whole store seemed to be clean. Sadly this is not the case at some other locations.

The aisles are small and the carts extra large, leaving one with a claustrophobic feeling. Not a great way to shop for groceries.

I give this high rating for the store, its variety and cleanliness. I've had an unpleasant experience with upper management in the past but they have since been replaced. In fact, like most grocery stores, they have steady turnover here. However, most of their current staff are friendly and will take time to show you to whatever you need. Also, their produce and meat sections are stocked and fresh. They also have online order/pickup if you prefer that route. This will continue to be my 'go-to' store for now.

I love Food Lion! Not just the Blythewood location but their other locations also. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and available cashier and bagger. If a bagger is not available, I love that Food Lion makes bagging easier for the cashier. Other grocery stores should follow this.

They need more handicap motor carts, and the produce there be really bad. The people work their are good and kind. Should consider to wash their hands frequently instead of using that hand sanitizer all the time.

Are you sick of sales clerks that are rude or unfriendly ? Then this Food Lion is the grocery store for you ! The staff is so great, friendly , helpful & happy to wait on you !! Not just 1 or 2 of them but all of them. I've never had a rude staff member . It's refreshing to be treated like a valuable customer vs. feeling like you're a pain in the butt !

Food Lion is not my favorite grocer, but they do have sales on some things that I like to get. This seemed to be a nice store. I found everything that I was looking for, plus a few more things. The only complaint I have is their pre packaged chicken fingers that are "take and go". They were barely warm and very dry. I will probably not get them again.

Average selection and prices, other stores have better prices and sales.I can’t believe that there is no food scale on the ground in the produce department. I am only 5’2” tall and have a hard time reaching the scale to weigh fruits and vegetables. They better hope that a wheelchair-bound guest never needs to weigh food by themselves, they are not ADA friendly. :(

Smaller Food Lion. Super clean, staff friendly. Good parking a little off road but easy to spot. On my visit they had store UPSIDE DOWN. Moving, shifting, changing up isles. Who's brilliant marketing idea???? It annoys HELL out of regular customers. 90% walking around asking where is this/that.

Selection going down hill in the store. Trash all throughout the parking lot. Shelves don't stay stocked correctly. If it wasn't for being the closest to me wouldn't go here I only get minor things not major shopping. Sad this is the best our town has because managers do not address issues.

I work nearby and shop at this location nearly 5 times a week for daily meals. I have grown to love and appreciate the employees as well as the fresh products.Customer service from Kyle, Sierra, Lexy, Julia, Courtney, Lissa, Gabriel and most of the cashiers is exemplary!!! They always greet me by name and make my shopping a "family" experience!Mike in the meat department always makes the best recommendations and offers cooking tips.Curtis & Albert in produce are persistent in providing fresh products and provide alternative options when I ask for them...although I have been asking for newer products like fresh bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts or Florida Avocados, I understand that they can only order what would sell demographically.The deli department has not been the greatest lately, although Allie is a joy to deal with. Dry rotisserie chickens and slimy meats have led me to shop elsewhere for these products, as well as the repetitive and unappealing dessert options.A broader selection of diverse ethnic foods would be appreciated. There ARE Cuban, Mexican, Italian, Asian, Indian people living in this area and we would love to have more products available!!! Hate to have to go to Kroger or Target or Aldi's to find more diverse options!!

This store was clean and well lit. It had a wonderful selection, and the people were very pleasant, even more pleasant than I expected, considering it was Thanksgiving. They were quite helpful, and I had had a lovely shopping experience.

I have to eat gluten free. Gave store 2 stars 5 years ago on availability of GF products. Now, I give it 3.5 stars strictly on current GF product lines. And 4.5 stars for overall store & staff.

This food lion is usually well stocked, people are all very nice and helpful. Store is very clean. Love shopping here and seeing the friendly welcoming faces of the employees of the store!
