Shelves are always empty. Very messy and disorganized store. Stock sitting in boxes in all of the aisles . Makes it hard to get through. Unfortunately it's the only place to go in blythewood that's not a grocery store. Girl at the counter was t on the phone through her earbuds while she was checking out customers. No communication. The self-checkout line never works. Always broken. I've been to other Dollar generals in the Columbia area and they are a thousand times better. They need some competition!!

No one spoke to me until I was checking out. Wasn't given the opportunity to use my email to use coupons. Store is completely unorganized.

Employees are always helpful. I had called the store in Lugoff S.C. for food coloring she went and looked the store over for me and she found some. I told her thanks and headed that way. And when I got there I couldn't find it is I ask a lady up front and she said I talked to you on the phone. She stopped what she was doing and took me back to the place they were. She was so sweet. She and I talked for a second. I will definitely go back just for her and the way she treated me. The items they have are depending on where they are located not because they are dollar stores.I love Dollar Store and appreciate their employees going out of their way.

I remember when this store used to look ran down but the store is so much better; it's clean. For a small store they try to offer alot; I can always find everything. Tend to have almost everything I need for a fair price; and if they don't have it than the manager is awesome with trying to get it for you. Employees are friendly. Management is 10x better now than it was better. This one on many occasions I've observed will stop what she is doing just to help out her cashiers or help out the older folks that are having issue. She not a boss, she is a leader!

i don’t know why they continuously choose to close at random times but it’s starting to become an inconvenience. if they are not going to adhere to the posted hours, they should adjust them.

I would give zero stars if I could. This store never opens on time, ever. They open only when they feel like it and close the same.

It is always 90 degrees in here, and smells funky as soon as you step in. Shelves are usually unorganized and crammed up with stuff. It's a war zone navigating through there, but you sometimes find some cute things. To those who venture there, good luck!

Convenient, clean, remodeled, and carries items you would not think they have. Variety of school supplies and sketchbooks. Just need them to carry Prang or Crayola paint sets.

The store is clean. Management is very helpful and friendly. Almost always have what I need. If not, soon after the manager will make sure they have it.

This store is a little smaller than most dollar generals, but they still have a pretty good selection. I always find everything I need and then some. I did however, have trouble with using my digital coupons from the DG website.

Don't waste your time at this store. The staff is so rude and disrespectful. They are lazy when it comes to looking up items for "proof" since they cant take the customer words. I've had two cashiers talk about me in my face. The store is always dirty. I honestly wouldn't waste your time going there!

Location is convenient, store is clean and items are easy to find. The longest part of your shopping experience is at the checkout...Seems as if you're standing in line forever...

Good place to get in and out most of the time. Around rush hour dont expect a quick in and out. Prices are good and if you keep an eye on their sales paper you can get some great deals.

It's April 25, 2021. I bought beef jerky today and got home and packed my husband's lunch. The expiration date is April 2018!! It was also marked $3.25 and I was charged $5.00. He ate some before I thought to check it and got sick!! 🤮 Just ridiculous!!

This particular DG has a better selection and more stock than my local DG. However, the outside lighting is terrible..you have to get there before dusk...I have been approached after dusk..for $$

The reason why it's ok is because they have great things In there. But why would they call it dollar general if everything in there not a dollar. So they don't deserve the name dollar general.

I know it's right after the holidays, bit the place was not up to snuff. Empty shelves, not the cleanest either. The cashier was friendly though. That's a plus !!

Store is poorly kept, the place is a Royal Mess. Often closed during regular business hours with a sign on the door saying, “System down.”

System is down at this store all the time, when this happens they close the store down and it’s never stocked. They need to upgrade the systems and the store.

Older store things are pretty much packed and stacked but I guess if you had time to dig through and you can probably find some good deals
