A very good experience! The salon leader greeted us warmly and explained the different lengths of the cut as well as offered suggestions for my pup.Our groomer was Daria. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful care and grooming she did for my dog. Daria was kind, patient and comforting which I know my dog senses when meeting people. Daria's grooming technique was so appreciated and my dog looks great. I would recommend her to anyone.

Good selection of puppy toys and treats. Friendly staff willing to assist. Purchased various snacks consisting of beef, chicken, venison along with multiple toys. Just moved to HHI and thought SammyDogs toys were packed in the car, but apparently they are in the moving truck.

Worst grooming experience I’ve ever had in 10 years w my furbaby. She was crying and yelping and being yelled at and mishandled when I walked in. She had a bloody mouth. I’m glad I showed up early and was able to rescue her before the groomer I won’t name by name was able to finish and cause her more trauma. Never mind the razor burn that was dismissed. The reaction/ apology from groomer and manager was nonchalant at best. Will NEVER step foot in there again.

I took my dog to the Bluffton, SC store for grooming. When I picked her up the grooming tech Vanessa told me see had a bad infection that I had not seen. I got the dog into the vet immediately by sharing the picture Vanessa gave me of the infected area. Thank you Vanessa! You went above and beyond to care for my dog.

Love it... it's my favorite and my #furbaby's fav pet store! Can get her pet food with wide variety and selection, treats, plus plus + you can get it all here! Along with a Pet Center for training classes and also a grooming center built into back of store!

I am both livid and heartbroken to write this review! My dogs have been seeing Jenny now for 15 years. We followed her over from Petsmart in Beaufort. Apparently Petsmart has staffing issues because there was some sort of mess at the Beaufort location which is why Jenny relocated. Since relocating to the Bluffton location to follow her, we have had nothing but problems, however, this last experience was the last straw! Our appointment has been moved 3 times. The first appointment was scheduled 5 weeks ago. In the matter of 3 days later, they called and said they could not fit all 3 dogs on the same day and had to reschedule. This new appointment wasn’t until 4 weeks later. Last Saturday, was the date of the new appointment. 30 minutes before the appointment, we got a call from Petsmart canceling our appointment yet again. This time, my husband was enroute to Petsmart as we live an hour away. We were told that another groomer called out and our groomer canceled our appointment to take someone else’s dogs in place of ours. Not acceptable! Today came, and we brought in all 3 of our dogs for a groom. We forewarned Jenny that one of our girls has a growth on her lip that has pretty much cropped up over night and we have been struggling to get her in to have it removed however, she did have an appointment on Wednesday. Our other girl has a skin condition where she’s always itchy. We’ve spent thousands of dollars trying to figure it out. It’s overactive sebaceous glands. We cautioned for them to be careful with both older dogs. I guess grooming is now a team effort and not just one groomer is responsible for the appointment anymore. News to us! Someone was too rough with our 15 year old in the tub because they split her lip open. Another was too rough with the 13 year old on the table which looked like they nicked her paw with the clippers. What irritated us the most was they tried to blame this on us saying that they had fleas and it was our fault that they couldn’t finish the groom. What? They have seresto collars! I now have to start all over trying to find a new groomer and get on someone else’s very long waiting list to get corrected what they started! I will never go to another Petsmart again, especially Bluffton. They treat you like a number and they don’t care about your pet. You are just dollar signs. No loyalty. No real apology and the picture below is how they sent our dog home. All 3 looked like this. Even the puppy. I can not recommend this place!

Terrible! Won’t go back. I will pay more and book way out with other groomers. I took my dog in for a simple wash and nail trim. I had a 1:20 appointment, assuming it would maybe be an hour or so. When I arrived I was told it would be two and a half to three hours, they would call me. At two and a half hours I hadn’t heard anything so I drove 25 minutes to petsmart from our home to check on our dog. I arrived three hours after dropping him, to be told, it will be another hour!! He had just been bathed and still needed to be dried and nails trimmed. I demanded to take my dog at that point. He was brought to me wet and it was a cold blustery day. He was freezing and definitely was traumatized being away for three hours for a simple bath. Unacceptable how they treat the animals and customers. There was no apology…just handed over wet dog after three hours .

Staff is always helpful, each visit is it's own unique experience, and my wife and I love to visit the cats and reptiles. Definitely one of the better Petsmart locations.

Took my dog for a bath and WOW I was impressed! I’d even say best PetSmart yet! My dog is super clean and seemed to have enjoyed himself. Kuddos to the grooming staff!! He is a very large dog so I know it was not an easy task!We will definitely be back. I also love the pre-pay option they have that gave 20% off for pre booking 2 baths (also 20% for the bath he got today).

Thought I found a good place to groom my dog and they did a wonderful job the first time. The second time I made an appointment two weeks in advance for him to be groomed at 1:30pm. I call at 5 and they said it’s going to be another hour because they haven’t even started him yet. Completely unacceptable to keep the dog in a cage for 4 hours, change the appointment time if you are backed up. Cannot recommend this place anymore.

I absolutely love this petsmart location, we drive from Beaufort to come get our fish here, the service is great and quick. Always a LOT to choose from. Christi is very knowledgeable about what she’s selling and we always end up happy with our new pet additions to the family!

A trip to PetSmart is always fun! I love this location. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They always have a good selection of fish / aquarium supplies, they always have live feeder fish too,, everything we need for our dogs, and surprisingly, they have a good assortment of ferret food, toys, and houses.

Customer Service is terrible! Spoke to Asst. Mgr Donna who said it’s too bad for me as a customer because they don’t have the time to see if they have any deworming medicine instead I just have to take the 45 min drive from Beaufort. Jennifer is the general manager who was also unavailable.

Very nice staff, very clean facilities! Aisle maintenance and shelving is absolutely the best....those items frequently used and requested are displayed prominently and within hands reach. Customers do not have to climb shelving to reach items. This is a plus for us shorter clients! I had a prescription dog food to retrieve and they not only had it on display, but asked if I would like to have it placed on auto ship. I really appreciated that assistance and advice, as all Petsmarts do not carry prescription filled foods. Fast, easy and convenient!!! Just set in my phone as "Home Pet Store!" Thank you for earning my business!

Grooming. It saddens me to say that I am very upset with my 5 month old labradors first grooming experience. I brought my pup in for puppy bath and nail trim. I really only wanted nails trimmed but thought well petsmart does bath too so ok! Pup has had nails trimmed at vet numerous times without issue and I’ve bathed her in my tub numerous times. She absolutely loves the water and loves attention! Not an aggressive bone in her body and she’s very socialized with dogs and people daily! So the Tech had her on a slip leash that was essentially choking her. Gave her a bath in which pup got stressed out and tech wanted to blow dry her fur. At this point a simple towel dry for Labrador pup would have been fine and less stressful. Then tech tried to trim nails and said she couldn’t because pup not cooperating. . Obviously I said that’s fine as I didn’t want her to try to struggle with my fur baby and then nick the quick or stress her even further. I will say her fur is super soft and clean from bath! Whatever soap they used and cleaning method 5 stars but the remainder of service was not good. No nail trim ... looks like I’ll have to go back to vet for that! I would think they would have trimmed nails first but I guess not... Sad part is Pup loves petsmart and loves going there to buy treats and toys! But this occasion she literally was running out of the store! She didn’t want no part of petsmart after this experience. It makes me sad that was her first grooming experience as she will likely be reluctant to go to a groomer in the future. I paid full price for this service too! I’m not happy with them at all. It may be good for older dogs but I would not recommend bringing 5 month old pup to them for puppy bath... 😞

Husband and I went in looking for a new harness for our 4 year old pup as he kept slipping out of his old one. The associate there was so helpful in recommending a harness he could not slip out of. She even sized it for him to try on! We love his new harness!

Well stocked, friendly staff and a vet inside. I purchased two parakeets nearly 4 years ago. Still have them. They always have a nice selection of different colored birds and all the accessories you need.
