This store is incredible. Having 3 dogs and Petco being one of the only suppliers of their food, we make a lot of trips here fromBeaufort. I always choose the BOPUS option when it comes to reserving their food because usually there’s a discount for doing so. I ran into a situation a few weeks ago where I was unable to place the order online even though when I called the store ahead of time, they had confirmed they had the food I needed. They offered to hold it for me without the online reservation and I could just pay for it when I got there, honoring the online discount. Short story, when I drove the 40 mins there to get my food and it wasn’t actually reserved, it wasn’t exactly a treat. Frank was on duty that night and worked his hardest looking for more inventory and offered a temporary solution for the inconvenience which he followed through on. I then received a customer survey which I assumed would go to corporate just reflecting how they need a better way to manage their online inventory to reflect appropriately because this wasn’t the first time I’ve tried to order and it was unable to be fulfilled. Another manager from Petco received the survey and reached out to me and offered a solution for the inconvenience and once again, followed through. I truly wasn’t expecting anyone to call me letting me know when my food came in stock, even thought both Frank and Trish said they would, but in today’s busy society that type of customer dedication is rare. Inconveniences happen, that’s life. But the measures that this entire store has taken, specifically Frank and Trish, have blown me away. The customer service at the Bluffton Petco is unmatched and I just felt like more people needed to know about it.

stopped in for some dog treats. they hag what I was looking for and also had a special Christmas blend on sale.gad to take a picture of the sign. why someone would buy something that says can cause human harm is beyond me.

This location has always offered a variety of item for a variety of pets. Great place to go when your pet needs specific or special food. Currently there are guinea pigs, hamsters, Geckos, birds, fish, turtles, and bearded dragons for purchase. Staff are helpful.

Terrible online experience. I needed dog food. Placed my order and all looked fine. I had ordered before. Then order was cancelled with no explanation. Called and was on hold forever and no one could explain why the order was cancelled but they said someone would call me back. Two days go by and I finally get an email saying their algorithm showed some potential security issue. It was my VPN. Cowards never called. They are morons and I ordered from PetSmart instead.

Monica is professional and so good at what she does. Our goldendoodle Maggie is still a puppy at almost 10 months old. She loves going to Petco, all her needs from her first training classes to her grooming are done at Petco and we are happy with all they do. Susan and Paul O’Keefe and of course Maggie!!

I was in there just the other day buying fish. The place seemed understaffed, it took a few minutes for anyone to come help. Teddy was a lot of help though, she caught the fish fast and was very helpful when I was picking out fish to go with my current community tank. Big thanks to her.

I Love this store! #02756. 1015 Fording Island Rd, Bluffton, SCMore like I Love Kiara at check out. She is very knowledgeable about my issues with my cat. She made me feel at ease about my cats flea situation. We spoke about her cat situation, caring for feral cats and what she does. She made me laugh and put me at ease about my flea situation.As for The Nulo brand cat food, I read the ingredients and I am hooked. All natural!!! Real chicken, turkey, salmon, tuna etc!!!I only know about the cat food. Wet and dry.I believe in this product so much I would love to be a Nulo rep.Make sure Kiara and Nulo are recognized!Joanne Fusco

Just had to leave the store with my puppy because he was eating all the papers and garbage on the floor. Was shocked that a pet store that welcomes pets would not sweep up the floors so as to be more pet friendly. Most puppies eat everything on the floor and you would think that they would be concerned about this. Was in there literally 3 minutes and he picked up 3 different things off the floor. Will try Petsmart .

I have never ben into a store that held more unfriendly employees in a while. I usually do not write bad reviews. I can be to chill sometimes. Every employee we saw or had an encounter with looked like they were mad. No expressions of happiness. I tried to be extra happy and make them smile with a joke but nothing. I guess it is a good thing that we have choices of where to go. They have great products on the shelf. Prices are fair in my opinion. Better than some online sites.

Petco is bird friendly which is awesome. Petsmart doesn’t allow my birds. The staff was great and seemed happy to have a new customer. I found everything I needed and enjoyed seeing the other critters in the store.

Monica did a great job with my 132 lb. Lab. She was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The store itself could have been cleaner and more organized but the service and end result was excellent.

Went here on a Saturday and I couldn't find a fish tank that didn't have dead fish floating in them, was a little scared to buy a fish in such tanks. Employees didn't seem to care or have any knowledge about fish. Snails were all stuffed in to a box floating on top of water.

I traveled from another state to visit this Petco. I called prior and spoke with Jeremy, the customer service I received over the phone was perfect and I knew it was gonna be worth the drive. When I got there, my visit was nothing short of amazing! Jeremy and staff were very attentive to my needs, and answered any and all questions. I walked away with so much education on aquatic life, Jeremy was very knowledgeable in that area! I will visit again!

Easy and convenient trip. All of the associates were super friendly and helpful. A nice girl helped me find the gentle leader and leash I was looking for. My dog seemed to like the cashier pretty well too. Overall a nice, easy trip.

I’m only giving one star because I can’t do zero. We were gifted some goldfish and a tank. I went in to ask for advice on what I needed because I didn’t think I had the right supplies. I asked the lady, Melody, working in the fish area. She was very condescending and rude. She answered a few of my questions and went back to the fish. After looking at the tanks I had a few more questions. I asked her again, even apologized and explained that this is the first time I have owned goldfish and I’m new to the proper care. She printed out some care instructions and handed them to my husband. No help at all!! I asked the cashier to speak to the manager and it turns out SHE is the manager. I left and will NEVER go back! Went to a different pet company store and got everything I needed.

I have had nothing but a fantastic experience coming here. I bought my beautiful parakeet sienna from here and today I bought my new animal companion, a beautiful white rat named Luna. Everybody here is so helpful and really gave me some great advice on taking care of my new pet friends. I highly recommend coming here if you're going to start out with a new pet or picking up supplies. Five stars across the board. The manager here should be very proud of the workers that help customers. They really love what they do! I appreciate them answering all of my silly questions!

During these difficult times, it's so nice to be able to use curbside pick-up or pick-up at the counter, right when you walk in. The cashier was very friendly and I checked out within just a few minutes. I asked the cashier about some grooming services and she was so informative and helpful. Set up an appointment right then and there. The store is always spotless and clean. My go-to store for pet supplies!

I wish I could remember the name of the man who assisted me, but wow, his customer service was AMAZING! I had some crazy requests but he was so willing to help. I'm also glad that, unlike PetSmart, they actually understand that some reptiles prefer and thrive on living food. We get really great coupons at the cash register, and the store is clean and well stocked. Love this place!
