Went with friends, ordered one after the other. We finally got our sandwiches but friends had to wait over 30 minutes to get theirs while the one worker making sandwiches made orders to go that came after we had ordered. Three people “working” but only one making sandwiches while a half dozen inside orders were not being fixed. Our orders were not completed as ordered, two of the four only had the pickles and the workers were not concerned that customers were having to wait so long. There was no greetings or smiling faces at the register or the sandwich bar. Don’t think we will be back.

I walked into this restaurant today to notice only 2 employees working. This place was packed and to know that the manager failed to help or even have extra help is ridiculous! Those amazing employees that worked today did a great job and the owner should be ashamed. I've been coming here long enough to know how many people actually work here. I'm sure at least one more person could have come in to help them!Management needs to do better!!!

I'm giving 3 stars because the 2 people working there were doing their best to keep up during the lunch rush. I've been to this Firehouse a few times while working in the Bluffton area. Seems kind of run down. Front door is broken, floors very dirty and the restrooms was very dirty. The smell of urine was almost overwhelming.My sandwich was not nearly as good as what I'm used to at Firehouse. The bread was old.

This is the most dirty and nasty firehouse subs. Had take food to car because tables were covered in trash and food. 1 girl makingSandwiches while other 3 employees screw off. I waited 25 min for food and they only had 3 customers. I will never come here again. This place should be shut down. Health department needs to look into this place

This fireside said it opens at 10:30. We got there at 10:40 because we were going to the beach. We wanted to get a sub to take with us.. I walked up to the door and knocked on it since the door was locked and there was a gentleman in the kitchen who ignored my knock. I then tried calling just to let him know that we just wanted a sub since he was supposed to be open at 10:30 and he ignored that call also.. We then waited until 10:55 and still no signs of him…..called again, he did not answer his phone. He would not look at the door when I knocked on it, so we left very disappointed since there was somebody there, who just ignored a customer trying to service their restaurant will not go back..

The customer service was no existent, the person taking our order could not have appeared less interested. The restaurant area, though the place was empty, was filthy. Not a clean table in the place, my daughter suggested we bring Chlorox wipes next time, there will not be a next time. I did not notice the dining room until after we ordered. The food was mediocre and lastly, a young girl walked out of the kitchen with a Biore stip across her nose. It does not get more disgusting than that.

Stopped by to order food around 7:40 p.m. only to be greeted by a dark restaurant and the employees are all sitting at a table staring at me, doors to the place locked. Your business online and on the windows says you close at 9 p.m. Please update your business hours if this is not the case. I've been going here for years and this is just disappointing.

Just tried to place an order for Sunday for a bunch of subs after the phone rings 100 times it is finally answered not with a hello but a rude “we are kinda busy right now…. I ask if I can place an order and get response with a giant huff I guess- there is an app for that” I just hung up and placed an order with a local pizza shop. I go to restaurant all the time and manager is really nice but the employees are horrible.

I'll start with a positive, the food was good and staff friendly. However, the establishment was filthy. Floors haven't been swept or cleaned in a long time. The women's bathroom toilet was full of human waste and toilet paper. It appeared the toilet was broken. Water leaking into a bucket from the ceiling. Iced tea containers were broken and the beverage dispenser was gross. I think this place should get a visit from the health inspector. The owner of this store should take more pride in the business and provide a clean and healthy atmosphere. Definitely won't be coming back here!

Good luck getting what you ordered. They don't read the order before making the sandwich.I asked mine on weat ,tuna , no onions a, black Olives. I got white bread, onions , no black Olives and not the hot sauce I ordered. Very disappointing 😞 .The quality is good, but the order was all wrong

It took 25 minutes to get our order (there was one other customer ahead of us) and the service was mediocre, at best. There were four guys at the counter yet only two were doing anything; most of the time was spent laughing at their own jokes rather than working. Somehow, even after all that time, the order was wrong but didn't want to wait another 25 minutes.

Unfortunately when we walked up we saw a sign that said short staffed wait could be 20-25 min. Not being in a huge rush we went in to order. A male and female were behind the counter, 1 customer at the register and approximately 5 tables with customers and 1/2 were waiting on food.Both employees disappeared to the back and were talking loudly. After a few minutes the customer at the register gave up and left pretty angry. The male employee came back and started pulling slips of orders and yelling to the female in back that he needed ham.At this point, 10 min in, we decided to try something different as we could see they were already overwhelmed and it would be much longer than 25 min.

Slowest service ever. After repeating three times that I wanted my husband's sandwich cold, they confirmed cold bread, meat, cheese. They still steamed it. The bread was mush when I got home. It was inedible.I ordered a hot sandwich. I knew mine would be steamed. Still the bread was mush. Like just absolute goo. It was like eating wet bread.Most disgusting thing I've ever tasted.

OKAY. I Tried called to give it a chance. But older black gentleman on line make sandwiches with 2 other younger males. Well the older gentleman had gloves. Shoves food in his mouth then continued to make sandwiches. Then scratches his beard hair. Totally unacceptable busy or not. I counted 3 times where he should of washed his hands and re gloved. Not once did he wash his hands while I was there and he stepped off line multiple times. Disgusting.
