This store needs a managers presence. Employs seemed overwhelmed and shelves are in disarray. A key leader could have this ship righted with ease but currently can’t give more than a few stars. Good luck

The shelves were almost completely empty. Store was dusty and dirty. Buggies in the isles. Hard to walk through the store. Worth the drive a extra 5 minutes to go the Dollar General in Hilda.

Will go to Springfield from now on. Easter Sunday, one cashier's first day and experienced cashier was having lunch in her car. New cashier had problems with the register and after being ignored by waving in the doorway, had to go to the car and get the other cashier. Next she couldn't find the keys to the cigarettes and a customer who had worked there had to show her how to get the faulty lock to work. Meanwhile, a long line has grown and still no help!! After I made my purchase I went to the car and told the experienced cashier she needed to help and open another register. Cashier tells me she is on her lunch break and the new girl already had hers!! I said, I don't care, be a decent human being and help her. She said don't talk to me like that with attitude!!! I paused..And said PLEASE go help her and just stood there outside her car, talking through the window. She finally came to conclusion that I wasn't going to leave and returned to the store with attitude.As a customer, I have choices and will shop in Springfield in the future. This is not the first time I've seen bad management at this store but it WILL be the last!

It depends on the people there , dollar general should change their policy due to cashier having to stock while people wait for them to realize someone is waiting and some have attitudes because they think they are the owners, no respect , but like I said it's not all employees just a couple, race seems to play a factor as well as much as I hate to say that not being myself I believe in equality formost.

Workers were pleasant, but the store was cluttered as usual. I found what I needed quickly, but the I spent more time in the line than I believe I should've had to.

Dollar General in Blackville has great workers and they work hard. The DM is prejudice and works against the blacks. He want get them any help in the store and it is full of freight and floors cluttered and rats in store eating up product and it is just nasty and infested.

Went into Dollar General in Blackville for a few things and at checkout register went down.. The Main office needs to get a hold if whoever is above them needs to start helping this Branch out.. Update their equipment and there would be Better Business...

Most of the items was in the wrong place and this happens most of the time and by me working in retail I know that if an item have the wrong price under it than that is what the customer pay for it the bread, tissue, And paper tower, the store is in a mess it's been sometime now that it hadn't been clean it is just plain junkie.Thank God they have someone to clean up and I hope they keep it up. This is the Blackville Store.

Very nice store. Very clean. I went to get a coloring book with gel pens. I found a very nice one. I would recommend the store.

This store is in need of help for staff, cluttered and appears too small for inventory. Surprised it passes fire codes due to inventory and disorganization.

Dirty, unfriendly, , no milk or dairy products, cannot turn a camper around in the lot depending how others are parked, BUT it is a Dollar General.
