Dr. Patel came to my school to administer the flu vaccine. I wasn’t sure if my insurance would work because I am an international student. Dr. Patel spent 45 minutes that evening trying to make my insurance work and even called the company to ask what exactly my insurance covered and let me know what he found out. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone as Dr. Patel is an extremely kind and helpful man!

This small business is 1 of the greatest! The Patels are extremely friendly and very helpful. They get to know you personally, which I definitely think is wonderful. No Walmart or Walgreen's for me..I am completely satisfied :)

I was there to get my emgality injections and with my insurance I was still going to have to pay $200.00. But then Kent gave a phone number to call and he told me to answer the questions they asked me and I ended up getting my injections for free every month for a year. Thank you so much Kent.

For anyone and everyone who has stood in line at one of the big chain pharmacies, fret no more! The Patel's have brought back service that has no equal. I personally will never have to set foot in another pharmacy for any of my medication needs....... From the individualized customer service to the friendly reminders on when to pick up my monthly maintenance medications, I no longer have to bother worrying if my prescriptions will be filled in a timely manner. Kudos to Iron City Pharmacy!

I can’t say enough positive things about this pharmacy or the owners the Patel’s are great people. When we had Covid I would call and if they had what I needed they would bring it to my car and get the payment so that we didn’t do without any critical meds or supplies for our recuperation. And I like to tease Kant that I’m his favorite customer (he treats everyone the same) because I was the first one through his door and that I sign up 3 people that day. One was my mother in law and I asked him if I brought him new rx’s for all her medicine could he-be sure and fill them all on the same day each month. He said yes. So I did and I also gave it to him along with an excel spreadsheet of her meds. And I would call him every month and give him a week to get them ready. It was so helpful. I don’t think I have ever had an issue with any of our meds from there. So if you haven’t tried them yet I hope you will soon.

My dogs prescription started out of the 17th of the month. It was moved over a years time to the 23 of the month by the pharmacy. It is to be filled every 30 days. Last month I took the new prescription in which was dated the 17th but didn’t get it there till the 21st. I call to refill it this morning and pharmacist tells me he’s not due till Monday. I’ve had ongoing issues with this pharmacy. Not only for my animals prescriptions but for my family as well. It is close to my house and the meds are cheap but at this point I’m ready to drive further and pay more for hassle free refills and pickup. I’m over this pharmacist thinking he out ranks my veterinarian or doctors. It’s every 30 days.

My husband and I have been customers here since they opened. Kent has went above and beyond to help us with any problems we have had. I read some of the reviews and that's why I felt like I needed to offer my opinion. One of the bad reviews from a Sara Matthew made no sense to me. You do not send a child in to pick up a controlled substance, it's against the law. And as for anyone being rude, that is so not trueEveryone who.works there is very professional and always helpful. I find it very childish to leave a bad review because someone would not break the law for you. Kent and his staff are a blessing to Blacksburg.

Where do I even begin, ugh not the biggest fan of the staff or the owners. They have a tendency of being kind of rude they take forever, they offer a curbside pickup but then they make me go inside anyway, they also offered delivery but then say they can't deliver. we'd get our prescriptions elsewhere but this place is literally walking distance from my house, in all they just need to do better. to top it off one day when the sign was up that said only one person in the pharmacy at a time, my kid sat on the bench outside but some man goes inside and I told my son to get in line in front of him because he was there first. But they made my son get in the back of the line and then they made me come into the store and I had to wait in line it's dysfunction

Absolutely love this Iron City Pharmacy. The pharmacist and owner, Kent takes his time to make you feel as if he's there just for you.Although, Iron City is a small pharmacy, it does all the things the big ones do. Like refill reminders but Kent lets me know I've had a medication before and have stopped it after just one month, like other pharmacies he lets me know when medications clash. He told me once that I had been prescribed a medication in the same class as a medication I was allergic to and to watch out for the same symptoms, he was right I was allergic to both. The entire staff Iron City Pharmacy get to know you, your family and your health problems. The people working Iron City Pharmacy are great people and I recommend this Pharmacy over any box chain
