This store has went down hill bad. They never have the register open. Its self check out and cards only. If they do have the register open its cash only. The employees are hard to find. Or they are cussing and cutting up. Even the mighty can fall dollar general got to big to quick. Higher better help. The first manager was great ever since he left the shelves are empty and customer service is awful

Normally there is a really sweet girl working the counter. However today there were two horrible women working. I had a $10 off coupon and they would not give me time to enter my phone number then had the audacity to ask me if me debit card was mine. SERIOUSLY? If you hate your job, move along...

Too crowded with containers holding the store products so you can get through all the isles. Parking lot not swept and has trash around. Dollar general needs to pay the employees more and have more help so they can clean up the store instead of worrying about how many stores they have on every corner. They need to get their stuff on the shelves and clean them up. They have really gone downhill since my husband worked with them and he always had a strict standard to keep up too. Obviously there isn't one anymore. I hate going in these stores anymore, just easier to get a spot than Walmart and sometimes around same prices. Cashiers not always friendly.

I've noticed that they aren't keeping all items well stocked. What item's I do get have been in good quality. They need to keep more than 1 cashier at busy times. It does get 7..8..9.. Customers in line at a time and some have alot of items in their buggy.

I was not really impressed with this Dollar General...The customer service was not really there, not one employee spoke to us when we walked in, and the cashier spoke to another employee the whole time we were checking out. Always check the expiration dates if you buy food here, I bought cookies that were almost 6 months past the expiration date and the milk did not taste good at all. I had my expectations set a little too high on this one.

Dollar General is a quick go-to in a pinch for time...they have most anything you need, but in a neighborhood sized store. I made a trip close to closing time and the ladies who were managing the store helped me find the right items and walked me through how to use them properly. There are many days when different stores' personnel don't take the time to help or care, but these ladies did despite the hour of the evening.DG's prices are pretty fair for the most part, and great when clearance is going! I've had to go to many DG's this month for vbs materials, and have been happy with what I've found!

The service at the register sucked, she was too busy worrying about what all the other employees were doing. Four people were blowing up balloons and she walks off to go help them with at least six customers behind me waiting in line. No thank you, next time I will go to family dollar.

every time I go to Dollar general and I have such a great time to stop there is just wonderful people they make me laugh they are very helpful point me to everything I need and if they have everything you need I've never went into their looking for something and never found what I was looking for I will visit Dollar general time and time again it's wonderful the one in Blacksburg South Carolina is the best one of all I will go there every time I need something I actually I wasn't there before I go to Walmart I got it for my birthday partiesI go there for camping equipment I go there for snacks for the children I can even go there to throw together a simple dinner if I don't have one on hand like I said they have everything you need I go there for my hygiene products I go there for shampoo perm loans so they can t everything they even have a freezer section with frozen foods and dairy products

The entire store needs a major facelift!! The drop ceiling is completely gone in a rather large section of the store, exposing the sprinkler system & the surrounding ceiling has very obvious water damage. Seems to be a major BAD MANAGEMENT issue (s) that trickles down to all the employees (or lack thereof) who have poor customer service skills in general. There's normally only TWO employees in the store at one time & that includes during the "rush hours" which leaves only one register open at ALL times. It defeats the purpose of stopping in the store all together! Most people prefer Dollar General bc it's got a little bit of everything so it's used as more of an "in & out" or "quick stop" type of convenience store as opposed to going into a Walmart for one or two things. This store is competing daily against the brand new Family Dollar that is almost next door to it now!!

Has a $1 isle that has a wide variety of items... Frozen bags of vegetables are sold there and their brand is good... Makes for a quick pick-up if your cooking Vegetable Soup...

Very upset with the "customer service" i recieved tonight in the blacksburg, SC store, a legally blind man trips over a dust pan in the middle of the floor, and Trisha Allison got smart with someone that can't see good enough to avoid a object in the middle of the floor! She bucked up in a 18 year olds face, and had an attitude toward all of us. I shop at this dollar general alot! Never had a problem! I am very upset that an employee who is hired in a store to give me service can act anyway she wants, will be contacting corporate office bright Monday morning. So my advice to all that shop the Dollar General don't expect any type of good service unless it comes with an attitude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blacksburg Dollar General is the dirtiest store I have shopped. Shelves mostly bare, there can be 15 people in line to check out, only one cashier, nothing getting stocked or cleaned. Parking lot full of buggies, lot filthiest I have ever seen for a store. On a scale 1 to 10 for clean, one and that's conservative. Need managers who know how to run a business. If time permits I will actually go to kings mountain dollar general, 100% difference stocked, clean, fast checkout.

If I ever forget thing's that we need, I can stop here and get what we need. The service here is great and the ppl that work here are friendly. The only downside is that sometimes they need to have a few registers open for the amount of ppl that come in there.

This store has a employee who is terrible to the other employees and to the public who shop there. Many complaints have been made to the corporate office and to the store itself. With no response from either of rectifying the issues. With that being said I would not even give this store 1 star. My advice to the general public shop somewhere else.

Most times there's always just one register open. It's a small town and only one dollar general. So when it gets busy in there and there's Just one register open that takes convenience of getting in and out of there of the table.

Probably the worst store I've ever shopped at. Not only is the store extremely unkempt, but the staff are some of the rudest people I've met in my life. I was behind an elderly women in line who got shorted $5 on her change. When she brought it up to the cashier, by the name of Misty, she was told "If you don't like it, shop somewhere else". That's when myself and 3 other customers dropped our items and walked out the door. In the parking lot, a fellow customer who walked out of the store informed me that the cashier who said that is actually a 'Store Manager'!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! I will never return to this store, even though it's one of very few stores in Blacksburg. Maybe after Dollar General comes to their senses and decides to fire Misty Little...

This place is a joke there is one person in there that dont know how to treat people and there nothing being done and everytime i go in there there is a line alway to the back and 1 person at the register while the other person is in line i will never shop at this dollar store again i will go to a different one
