Dr Curry is a great veterinarian and helps us to care for our 5 cats indoors and 10 outdoor cats.Hes been our vet for 3 years now and takes his time with out cats and explains everything that needs to be done for the best health of our fur balls.Hannah is also very nice and very helpful with our questions.Thanks to all the staff at Bishopville Animal Clinic for taking care of our kids.

March 3 my wife and daughter took our 6 year old Doberman to Dr. Curry to be spayed.Less than 24 hours later , around 3:00 pm on March 4 my wife called because our dog had very labored breathing. My wife was told it was normal. Less than an hour later our dog was dead.I'm not saying Don't bring your animal here , but , do read the reviews.We lost a family member , and I believe it was because of this plac

I drove an hour and a half to Bishopville to be with my mom while she put down her 14-year-old Jack Russell. I was told because I had my 14 month old son with me that I could not be present or be there to support my mother. My dad died three months ago and this was his dog… and this facility did not allow me to be present to support my mom while she had to go through this.

Love this vet. I have five dogs and they made drawing blood and giving vaccinations easy. The doctor was very knowledgeable and thorough when I took my springer spaniel for pain issues. He listened and then came up with a good plan of care. I will be going back and recommending to others.

We take both of our dogs here. The staff are very friendly and the Vet is very good with the animals. They charge a fair price as well. Would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve always taken all 4 of my dogs here and never had an issue until the other day (7-17-23). We had to put my dog down due to him having cancer. Dr. Currie was so unprofessional and the lack of compassion towards the situation was insane. He didn’t even take time to find his vein in his paw before injecting him with the medicine. Once he put the needle in, he said IN HIS WORDS “Oh. I forgot to take the cap off” FORGOT?????? then walked around the table and jabbed him with the other needle on his side. AND THEN AFTER, didn’t even throw the needles in the bin, left them right there on the table. 0/10 would not recommend, they’ll be hearing from the state board very soon.

We had to put my dog down because he had cancer and was suffering, they gave the first shot without telling us. Just walked in and gave it. Giving us no time to prepare for the emotions. The second shot he couldn’t find the vain in his leg and he just straight up stabbed my dog in the chest area infront of us without telling us. So unprofessional.

Trustworthy and very professional. They were able to squeeze us in as the last appointment of the day. Even though it was 1/2 hour from closing, I didn't feel that they rushed the checkup of both dogs. They took their time and administered the vaccines with care. They even looked back at the notes about how to calm dog #1 ahead of the rabies vaccine. Nice work! We will return for routine care.

This is a TERRIBLE vet office. Very unprofessionally run. The office manager (Carmen) is less than desirable to deal with and attacked me for expressing my concerns about our visit calling me “passive aggressive” rather than apologizing for the 30 minute wait beyond our appointment time as they take a non-emergent walk in before us. Before even asking how we could resolve any of my issues she said “we’re done with you, we’ll give you a referral for another vet.” Was downright nasty and UNPROFESSIONAL. She has no business dealing with customers with that attitude. There was no communication about when annual shots were due and overall a dirty, rundown office. Really the only reason to come here is because it serves a rural community, but not because they are friendly or good providers.

Do not go here this man has misdiagnosed so many animals just over medicated a dog for a simple spay and killed her he has been misdiagnosed my dog for the last year just the same old lets just try this with no test I took her in for a dental clean sent me home with musclerelaxers he wanted to give my 15 year old dog then gas her the next day well she wasent feeling good so I took her to another vet come to find out she's going thru chronic kidney failure and if he would have gased her for dental clean she would have died now she's on kidney meds blood pressure meds and fluids every 3 days because the vet said we let it go to long now im fighting to keep my baby alive f u dr curry

Was very pleased. Very clean, and staff are great. 1st time visit. Dr. Kenneth Currie was kind and loving with my dog. He doesn't try to take you to the bank. Yes, I would definitely refer to a friend...Thank you Dr.Currie.....Lucy with the enlarged heart and loud heartbeat and breastbone bulged. She's hanging in there.

Horrible experience. All of the vet techs there have the worst attitude, the owners wife is psychotic, the receptionist had the worst attitude ever, overall terrible experience. would not recommend anyone go there! It’s worth spending the extra money anywhere else.

Great prices, excellent service. Dr. Curry and his staff are one of the best vets I have ever taken my dogs to. I have 2 (rather difficult) large husky mixes. My dogs are very well taken care of every time. AND they off the best prices for veterinary care in the area.

This is the nicest caring place we've ever taken our pets. The open waiting room allows those waiting to have their pets seen an open view of the doctors and staff treating each patient. The care and devotion given is self evident. I recommend anyone who is in need of a vet, or interested in a change to try Dr Ken's clinic!Our 9 cats have been patients for as long as the 4 that have since passed; their whole lives!

We took our Kitty, Indy to Bishopville Animal Clinic. She was very ill. Dr. Curry and his staff were awesome not only with her but us as we They updated us daily and never minded me going to see herevery day the 8 days she was there.
