Our family had the best leisurely Sunday Afternoon on Grandparents Day ! There is something for all ages to enjoy. Huge Chair, swing, the tires were fun to climb! The deer corn pit was my favorite, it’s great for sensory seeking kids/adults. The slides are fun and safe for small kids and the bigs seemed to enjoy those as well. The staff is welcoming and friendly, this is a working farm however it’s the absolute cleanest and well maintained of all the Fall Farms we have visited in the state.Every station was easily accessible and the corn maze was a lot of fun !A huge variety of pumpkins/mums and other plants/flowers are available. Fresh SC grown produce to choose from on your way out and if you can’t find a treat to eat there or take home you aren’t looking for it 😊Plenty of parking available even for campers & RV.A southern lunch was available but we ran out of time to enjoy that.I will add that all the activities are spread out so no one things is ever over crowded. If you are looking for something to do outdoors with kids of any age go out and see Farmer Rebecca you will be tired and happy when you leave !

The greatest gem on our way to and from the beach! Our family will make it a tradition to stop in (and look forward to making a day trip to the farm’s future events.) The strawberry pie did not disappoint! Best pie I’ve ever had! My daughters and I also enjoyed their selection of Petting Zoo stuffed animals.

This is the most beautiful Fall pumpkin farm I’ve ever been to. I’ve traveled all over and they had so many varieties of pumpkins and variety of mums. They also had fresh fruits and vegetables and items like fresh fudge and pies. We can’t wait to go back.

1. Beautiful Farm to take pictures because there is lots of photo props around the farm!2. Lots of different kinds of pumpkins! They also sell flowers, veggies, and strawberry ice cream and cookies.3. Homemade strawberry 🍓 it definitely hit the spot inside me lol. Better than store bought strawberry ice cream.4. Decent pricing for all food there that they sold during this season.5. I felt very welcome and did pictures without anyone telling me to stop taking pictures lol. (As long as I don't disturb people from buying goodies)6. They do not accept dogs unfortunately. So I had to leave my baby back home.7. The pricing for entrance tickets is a little to expensive in my opinion but wish there was military discount. Also suggest making 1 year old and under FREE since they can't experience sliding in things or climbing things besides sitting. Please take in consideration this suggestion 🙏🏼 🙂 😊At the end, I had so much fun! Just uploading pumpkin pictures I took.

Found almost everything I was searching for and more. This was my first visit and the only day of the week I could go. They were open on Sunday when others were closed. This was just what I needed.Looking forward to this dinner tonight!Update: I visited again today for the field peas and ended up buying more than intended. I've spent the evening cutting, bagging, slicing and freezing all this goodness!

LOOK FOR SOMEWHERE ELSE TO CARRY YOUR KIDS!! IT’S NOT WORTH IT!! My family and I drove an hour to visit this place yesterday and it was such a disappointment!!! The videos/ pictures online are very misleading! No hayrides, no candy apples, it was literally a ghost town!! It’s extremely dated! The only positive thing we took away from there were a few good pictures and the salmon patties!! I feel like this place should only cost $5 (if that) to get in…. My son and his wife wanted to tag along with their 4 children, but it was way too expensive for them so they opted out. I’m so glad they did because the kids would’ve been very disappointed, not to mention my son dropping $120!!! WE WILL NOT VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Went there today for a school field trip and left feeling like my inner child got to shine. This has only been my second time chaperoning to a pumpkin patch but this was by far the best. It was family and kid friendly and had a lot of activities for the kids to do. Farmer Rebecca was the best. She had the kids and the parents engaging. My only advice would be to type in the name of the farm in your GPS because we had a few parents that were lost. Other than that, I definitely plan in returning and helping to grow this beautiful farm!!!

The park and staff were nice, but a few things stood out that are making me question whether or not we will return, after many years of coming.1. The prices were not available online and I searched several different medias. It's 16.99 for each person, child or adult. This is something I would have rather known upfront, especially since that's $90 for my family of 5.*price doesn't include a pumpkin. That's a wee bit expensive for a play area-- especially considering a 45m drive.2. The website did not mention that, although the price is the same, the weekdays don't offer the same amenities as the weekends. There are no cow train rides or hay rides for the weekdays. This, again, was unsatisfactory to find out upon arrival.3. The animal pens were not up to par, most animals were out of water, and were piled in tiny cages. For $90 and a 45m drive, I didn't expect to leave disappointed and unfulfilled.

Nothing is priced; no signage. When I asked why, the lady at the register said it’s because she wants people to come to her. Which, of course, means waiting your turn for the “produce counselor.”Tomatoes ($2.99/lb) were large and red, don’t know if vine-ripened or hothouse, but they had very little flavor. Cantaloupe ($4.49) was way overripe, had to throw it away. Watermelons were $10.99; went to Food Lion and got a tasty seedless one for $4.99.Won’t be back.

1 start review, because they had so much stuff for children to do. My son had a blast playing on everything. However, they charge $16.50 PER PERSON including adults when the adults can’t really do anything especially when the adults are older or disabled or pregnant, it’s for the kids not the adults. There was no hayride for the adults to participate in, no corn maze, you don’t get to pick a free pumpkin. They just go and play. When we were there all the other parents/grandparents complained about the same thing and said they would not recommend this place due to that simple fact!

Service is always with a smile... if by chance you happen to be there when they are serving lunch do yourself a favor... eat there or get a to go plate! It’s so good! In the summer you have to get a strawberry pie... delicious! Ordered a Carrot Cake for someone’s birthday it was delicious ( and I don’t even like carrot cake!). They are always friendly and give service with a smile! .... corn maze is lots of fun in the fall of the year, somewhere you can take your kids for some good clean fun!.... Angela

My grandparents took me to this farm as a child 2-3 times a summer coming and going to myrtle beach. I have such treasured memories there. I haven't gone in 10+ years so happy to find its still there, and that I can start creating memories with my children there too, the products are just as amazing as I remember, and extremely friendly helpful staff. I was amazed to see how much they have grown.

If I could give this place 0 Stars, I would. My children's Christian School takes their annual field trip here, to this alleged Christian farm. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I am more angry than disappointed. Started out the tour on the tractor, which was just a ride around the farm, past the corn maze (which didn't appear to even be up and running, but we later discovered it was). In years past, there has been someone on the tractor with us, telling the kids about pumpkins and the sorts of veggies they grow here. This year there was no guide. Just as last year, the pumpkins were all placed about an area of land. But, unlike years past, we were told only the students were allowed a pumpkin, despite the parents and teachers all paying the same price for entry. We were told that we were given a discounted rate of $8 per person, that the regular price was $12 per person plus tax. When pressed about what the parents were paying for, the owner claimed, "the privilege of being on my property." We were told that she had to pay insurance, upkeep of equipment. We were told there's $10,000 worth of piping for the slides, which by the way are broken and have been in various states of disrepair for the last couple years. We were told that we had the equipment we could play on. You know, the equipment that the CHILDREN play on. When I decided to walk away before I said anything bad, the owner started walking away as well and said something about "what a great Christian attitude." Now I thought this was a Christian Farm. But their attitude over some pumpkins was not very christian-like, and frankly not a very good business practice. This place is not worth the $8 that we paid to come here, let alone $12 plus tax. Oh, we were told we were "welcome to purchase a pumpkin for $4," basically so they could still squeeze the $12 out of you. And that corn maze was a complete joke. The pads were not very well marked, there were weird car crosses in the corn that you kind of felt might be a path but also felt like they weren't. And I kept looking to make sure I didn't see any snakes throughout the entire farm, even on the children's playground equipment, because the whole thing looked like it could be a snake's nest.If my children's school decides to come back again next year, which I don't think they will, my children will not be attending. In fact, many of the parents and teachers expressed the same opinion, that they wouldn't return either. And after the way that we were treated, the farm lost out on several sales, because we didn't want to give our money to these people. I will never come to this farm again, and I will tell anyone who asks that it is not worth their money.Edit to reply to the owner: I did not flip my hand in your face and stomp off. Don't lie. And "$2/hr to enjoy" what you listed does not explain what the ADULTS are paying for, as most of those things are not for adults. To "enjoy" a mountain slide that someone can get hurt on? To "enjoy" a 12 acre corn maze that was below par on any scale, like the pathways were an afterthought? Also, what wagon ride? Are you referring to the tractor ride around the corn field? Or to the out of commission, never have I seen in commission, cow print wagons? Yes, I shared my frustrations with other parents, but many of them approached me. I did not go running around to them.Again, bad business practices. My condolences for your loss, but you could have handled things better.

McArthur Farms is the best around! I’ve attended almost every strawberry festival. I love the farm and trust them so much I’m having them help with/cater with my wedding. The owner, Rebecca, is so kind hearted and loving. Please take time to see this hidden treasure for yourself, I can guarantee you’ll love it!

Worst strawberries I've ever gotten from a farmer's market. They either tasted like water with no flavor at all, or like lemon, tart. Definitely looked deceiving. Big red juicy looking. They were juicy but not sweet at all. Disappointing! Two stars for the nice elder gentleman who served me, although he misled me on how they pick their strawberries at their peak of ripeness and how sweet they are. They are ripe, but not sweet! $15 bucket with no plans for them.

Sweetest, juiciest strawberries I've ever had hands down. It's like they fertilize those things w/ sugar. My wife & I love 'em! Their assortment of jams/jellies/salsas, etc. is incredible, & they never, ever disappoint. Getting ready to tear into some blueberry preserves & some pumpkin butter this morning. Later today my wife will open her favorite salsa in the world, their pineapple salsa. I'd say, find this place & go w/ some room in your vehicle.

Let me first say that McArthur Farms is awesome fun for adults and children alike. I have personally ridden on the tractor, slides, and bikes. I have played in the corn maze; bought fruits, veggies, jams, pickled everything, flowers, plants and pumpkins. I have always been satisfied. When I buy produce, I eat or use it as quickly as possible because it is farm fresh, without preservatives. Ms. McArthur is a good and loving Christian woman. She is also a business woman. She is not in business to make money for herself, ask anyone who knows her. She supports her community and takes care of her legal employees. She has made such a positive impact on this community especially for families and schools. She has and will do anything for anyone who asks or needs her. Support your local farmers! To Ms. Carol, I am ashamed of you for attacking Ms. McArthur and her Farm. This farm is an independent local business. Did I mention it is a FARM?! Its success is dictated by the weather. Have you considered that your expectations are a bit unrealistic? It isn't Disneyland. Better yet, your description of the equipment is very much delusional. You are the liar. The farm is safe and accidents happen everyday everywhere. Snakes? This is SC and you are on a farm. It is important to chaperone children for their safety anywhere you go. Are you angry you had to do that? Perhaps you should bend a knee and ask God to forgive you for such an ugly moment of weakness on your part. I am sure Ms. McArthur has forgiven you by now. But to deliberately try to hurt her business because you had to pay to enter the activities at a local farm is absolutely disgusting!
