Super Bowl Sunday snuck up on me this year. I feel lucky that I was able to pick up some ready made wings on what I expect is one of their best wing selling days, especially since I waited until just several hours before kickoff. Tasty as always, too

I live on ladies Island, and I absolutely adore this Publix, I’m here literally 4 to 5 times a week. Don’t get me wrong. The new one in Beaufort is amazing but this one has some charm to it that I just can’t get over, we will see what the new Harris Teeter across the street will bring but I’m sure I’m gonna stick with Publix. Can’t beat their buy one get one free items.

Always a great experience shopping here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It is a well run store and I prefer it over the one in Beaufort so I go here instead. Definitely worth the drive.

Deli is a disaster. Waited 10 plus minutes at deli counter. One person ahead of me. 3-4 deli clerks working behind counter. Not greeted or acknowledged. Ended up leaving. Can’t wait for grand opening of Harris Teeter.

We have never had a problem with ordering trays, getting our pre-orders, doing regular shopping, just about anything. For Christmas Eve we ordered 3 different trays and a cake for a family gathering. Everything was fantastic!!! We had special requests due to allergies and they were able to do that for me no problem. It was wonderful! For New Year's I didn't pre-order because it was a small anniversary/ new year celebration party so lots of food wasn't needed. We did go to the bakery and I let my daughter pick out a cake. She picked the red velvet, which happened to be the one on sale, because of the top decorations. When it was time to eat the cake we pulled it out and it was gorgeous! When we cut into the cake is when the problems started. The actual cake was so dry,grainy,and bland; the icing was thick on the top and sides (hardly anything in the middle) and it was just sweet with no flavors just like the cake. We were all so confused. We hadn't ever had anything taste so bad from Publix before. This was the first time we walked away from a Publix cake unhappy!!

It still seems "new" for Beaufort. Staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful. Almost always crowded; even after Matthew there was a line and almost riot for their fried chicken. Parking not quite as bad as old location, drive slow. I only shop for the deals that are not offered elsewhere. Update 11/29/2018 Deciding we wanted a break from Turkey day leftovers we stopped for fried chicken. The box said it needed to be sold by 1630 and it being a little a little after 1500 figured it was good to go. My mistake not sure who was working the fryer or picking the chicken but this the WORST fried chicken I have ever purchased anywhere. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED. Between this and the horrible smoked ribs dinner I got in the past, the Deli had lost me as a customer. The chicken should have been thrown out, I couldn't eat it, glad I have dogs.9/22/22 update. I have not shopped at Publix at all really and only when I get free trial coupons. Today I went to get a free gallon of ice cream for my birthday. Prices are up here just like everywhere else , the sales are still good but .. yeah not going to support a store that supports traitors.9/22/23 Da free half gallon of ice cream,or a really handy to get the 4qt bucket for a party , great for kids or whipping up some shakes. 👍

You just can’t beat the toasted sub on the day or $5 sushi on Wednesdays. This location is top tier. I recommend the Publix app to avoid time ordering a sub.

I went 3 times in a row looking for green plantains with no luck, and employees did nothing to check the back and see if they had any in stock room. Very displeased Publix is my choice of purchases. 🤔

Publix has the things other stores don't carry. The sliced lunch meat counter is staffed with nice people, and the quality of the meat is much better than other stores.

Worst Publix I've ever been in. The guy at the sandwich counter stopped in the middle of asking me what I'd like to help the someone else cut cheese for something unrelated to his station and then proceeded to make instacart sandwich orders. Took about 10 min before any of the guys at the sandwich counter came back to finish my sandwich. To top it off he put the wrong sauce on my chicken tender sub. I'm used to waiting 15-20 for a pub sub because it's worth it but this was just ridiculous.

I have my pharmacy set here in Ladys island and I have to start looking elsewhere. They must be understaffed because you are supposed to get the meds same day. The fast three times they tell me it’ll be 30 minutes and wait in the store. Then they tell you it won’t be ready for a few hours so you’ve already wasted your time. Then they say not till next day. All that in the same instance for one pick up. An older man was before me in line and they told him 30 minutes, he said that they told him that yesterday. Yes, you’re supposed to get your meds same day, a lot of people rely on them. Not at this Publix, and they won’t call you or text when you’re meds are ready.

Publix Bakery is the b e s t ! ! ! Their cakes and desserts are always on point! I come here regularly for sweets and I'm never disappointed. The employees behind the counter always greet me and are ready to assist. My favorite from the selection is the Chantilly Cake! If you dont want a whole cake then they usually have slices out being sold. I highly recommend you try it!

Hateful nasty pharmacist! Completely unsympathetic to the client even though the mistake was her fault. My prescription was filled incorrectly due to a holiday. My doctor called in a new script. She held my prescription hostage refusing to transfer it. When I protested about it over the phone, she hung up on me. I then got into my car and drove over to get a copy of the new script and she blatantly refused to give it to me so that I could take it elsewhere. I am at a loss for words! I can’t believe that she has the authority and audacity to refuse to give something to someone so they can receive relief.

Veggies looked fresh and parking is plentiful, this Publix is located near downtown Beaufort and Near several marinas so it makes for a convenient stop to replenish groceries.We use pick up grocery parking spot during the pandemic, and the folks brought groceries out to us at work quite well !

What can I say except I LOVE Publix! This store is very convenient to where I live & it's clean, always! It's extremely like the one in Bluffton which I Love! Smaller than most yet has everything you could want or need! In my opinion, Publix is the best grocery around!

So you have some people who actually enjoy working and receiving customer satisfaction. Then you have the others who say they have a job but don’t enjoy working and do absolutely nothing but goof around as well as gossip. I went to two cashiers before I found one who was willing to do her job. The other cashier didn’t even acknowledge me when I came through her line (her light was on) but another worker who was flirting with her decided it was his duty to let me know this cashier would not be checking me out because she’s “cleaning her lane”. Publix used to be my favorite grocery store—not anymore.
