The grooming area staff are great with my very anxious shelter baby. He has been seeing them since we rescued him and never had a problem. He mostly gets nails done now to limit the anxiety for him and the staff but they are always great with him and us! The employees inside the store are great as well.. when they see you wandering around the aisles lost they chuckle a bit when i tell them why I'm lost and what I am looking for! Usually never in the right place nor saying the right name!!!!!

In regards to the puppy salon and groomers. Where I did think the ladies handled my dog very well and took care of her. I was uncomfortable with the way they interacted with her when I arrived. My dog is 2 months old and still getting used to the world. So when these ladies put there face in hers I felt that it crossed a line. Even more so when it was to smell her breath because "we love puppy breath here". I will day besides getting in my pups face to smell her breath the visit was fine. Personally I won't be bring Piper, my pup, back until she is older as to avoid this situation. If you have a young pup this may be a accurance.

I've been ok with Pet Smart hours as they take walk-ins. But the last two late afternoons they do not take walk-ins. Why don't you just adjust your sign. No late afternoon walk-ins. It's very frustrating to the pet owner and your staff. Better yet I advise to call before even leave the house. That's not walk-ins now.

I go to this Petsmart location pretty often. Every staff member greets you kindly and theres always a lot of merchandise to browse. I recently went there to buy a cat harness and leash for my cat I recently adopted. But there wasn't a lot of options in this department for cats. Probably because walking cats is so rare ahaha but I found a nice dog leash to use and starter harness for my feline child.

I have found a great groomer at PetSmart in Beaufort. Her name is Jenny, and she is wonderful with my 8-year-old Maltese, Emi. Jenny is good with people, is gentle and loving to my dog, and does a great groom. I have never had anything but the best care for Emi from all the employees at the grooming center in PetSmart. I've been using them for about 8 months now after moving back to the U.S. from Taiwan. It took me awhile to find someone here I trust, and Jenny is that groomer. Thanks, PetSmart and Jenny!

Cashier must have been having a bad day. Blah-sa, she was. No smile, or nice greeting as we got to the check out. The "gun-scanner" didn't work properly. After 4 tries, the cashier disgruntinally, finally "hand-jammed" barcodes.

I usually go out of my way to one of the Petsmarts in South Carolina, as I live in Georgia because they are much cleaner, the animals and display areas always look well maintained. I find everything I'm looking for, as I personally have 13 Guinea pigs in my room but a total of 16 in the house and I use alot of bedding, food, and replace huts many times. I've learned my local store doesn't have near the amount of products I need and is out of stock with so much, not to mention it isn't exactly the cleanest store but that's ok because I'll continue my little road trip to get what I need!

Manager Amanda decided she wanted to give my son a hard time about returning an item. Once going thru corporate to get the receipt with the barcode for the purchase..she still acted as if he stole something!! Amanda then wanted to give a store credit. Once declining that offer..she then said she didnt have the 230.00 for the refund...He had to get a credit on his card to get his money eventhough he paid cash!! The problem Is Amanda's attitude!!!!! I called the store inquiring why was it a problem for a paying customer to get his money that he paid...and the attitude via telephone explained what my son endured!! She's definitely NOT an asset to Pet Smart...WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE ON THIS MATTER!! My son is active duty military...came home on a visit for the holidays and this is what Amanda decided to display!!! SHAME on you AMANDA!!!

I love Pets Mart! I wish they had lower prices and more of a selection that was made in the USA but the staff are always friendly! My puppy loves to visit and the photo ops they provide during holidays are great! The store is tidy and smells clean.

Out of the last 6 months or so their fish have been for sale for only about 2-3 weeks. I started trying to get fish from them mid summer and the fish were under quarantine for months (all the way into October)!! So I called the week before last and asked if they were finally selling them and they said yes. Should have called today before I went up there b/c once again they're under quarantine - wonder how long it's going to be this time? Till the spring or next summer? Guess it's back to Bluffton to Petco again (5 trips so far that I would have spent shopping at Beaufort Pet Smart). Absolutely ridiculous! The first time was bad enough...they should have learned from that fiasco!!

Great experience yesterday! I just got a new dog and needed to stock up. I was greeted right away and checked on several times including by the manager. In particular, D'Angelo told me how to get a $15 off coupon using a text code which was much appreciated considering all the stuff I needed. My experiences haven't always been so pleasant at this store, but today makes me happy to go back in the future!

Dolly my cat gets shaved by Jenny at PetSmart & she does a fantastic job. I’m so glad I was finally able to bring her back in during this COVID-19 disaster! Dolly is happier too!Had Precious my Yorkie had her nails done 💅 too!Thanks so much for Jenny and her crew!

Had an item hard to find online. Pickup was very easy and safe, during these times. Next best thing to having delivered to my door. Five minute ride to store curbside and home again: no worries about contagion - and I am high risk. Appreciate all staff’s efforts to carry on.

I would not recommend the dog training classes. It I could give -5 stars I would. The trainer is all about making extra buck on individual trainings, and she’ll go above and beyond to pressure you to sign up and pay or even transfer your group payment to individual (as she suggested thro voicemail)...and the management is fine with her doing this and allowing her to do this. Absolutely horrible and unprofessional trainer. I thankfully was able to get my refund in full for 12 classes I’ve that I previously paid for.

Had grooming appt this morning for my 2 Shih Tzus. Was told to drop them off around 7 am. When I arrived there was a young lady typing on the computer. She saw me and I waved at her to open the door. She just moved to the other computer so that she couldn't see me and that I wouldn't see her. Meantime, I'm waiting outside in 50 degree weather. Another employee came up behind me and rang the doorbell to have an employee open up. When I finally got to the desk she said that one of my dogs didn't have proof of rabies shot. I asked if she could call the vet for proof of vaccination. Said it was too early. Seems like she could have started on the one and continue with the other once it was appropriate to call vet. My theory is that the groomer gets paid per hour and doesn't really lose anything if we walked away without the grooming. My suggestion is to go to a small business for grooming. They have more to lose if a customer leaves. The store still offers a large variety of other pet items. That is why the 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

Been here multiple times asking for simple help but staff members act like they're too important to be bothered by you... especially the short, fat, white lady that acts all snotty as a regular floor employee. Then again, I'd be miserable too living in this busted town... explains why she eats so much "comfort food" to ease her pain.
