Although, the customer service was excellent today, Monday, April 22, 2024. I am sick to my stomach. I went in today around 12 pm or after, and I bought snacks total of $25.09 I also bought Chocolate milk and not paying attention to the date of it, I drank a mouthful of milk with the chocolate chip cookies I purchased. The date on the milk was dated March 3, 2024! I alwaysCheck everything I purchased And I let my guard down today because I was in a hurry. please everyone check your dates!! Please, I am sick now as I am making this review.

Besides the fact that the store is very unorganized, dirty, and always out of stock. Business hours on Google and on the door are not accurate. In a time crunch looking for morning snacks, do not waste your time here.

Terrible service. Went in for a handful of items, waited in line for 15 minutes to be brought up to a register with a woman talking through her ear piece on the phone about her unemployment or food stamp payment . She did not greet any customer and did not communicate with them. Almost like she was at home and we were inconveniencing her by coming to her register. Woman’s name tag said pebbles . How professional , such lack of customer service. Makes me wonder how she was able to keep her job.

Constant employee and manager turn around. Employees are usually busy stocking and hard to find when you need to check out. Constantly out of items. Items have clearly marked prices on the shelf and are often priced higher at the register.Typical dollar general but the prices and brand are okay

So far my experience has declined with this location. there are 3 maybe 4 employee's that value there job. Then the rest leave cardboard boxes on the floor Carts in isles. I'll post the names of the better employee's. On my next visit.

The store helps to fill a need in the area. There are several low income communities in the area and it's nice to have a store within walking distance.Additionally, the store has gone uphill in terms of organization and cleanliness.And that really is an uphill battle considering dollar general seems to have a policy of having as few employees in the store as possible.Not the store manager's fault.Probably a district manager trying to collect a pay bonus.

This store would be alright if they were open half the time. I'm not sure if they have maintenance problems alot or if they can't keep the store staffed but they are closed more than they are open and they stay closed for weeks or longer in some cases. It's a dollar store so the stock remains the same .The customer service isn't the best but they aren't cussing at the customers, that I know of yet, but they don't go through any great stretch to help a customer. They only help with what they can within their immediate reach. The store isn't nasty but could use some broom run across the floor every once in awhile. I don't think that driving the couple of miles to another store is out of the question. If you're walking it's a pleasant walk as well. In other words this is a have to have whatever it is right now store. Otherwise go to somewhere else.

-disorganized-dirty-unfriendly staff-carts blocking isles-outdated merchandiseHighly disorganized, and computer system out of date. after waiting in the line of 7 people for over 20 minutes, i finally reached checkout with a substantial amount of items to purchase, after cashier rang me up I tried to put my online coupons into the card machine and it froze their system. The employee didn't have any resources to fix it. 65 dollars worth of items I shopped for, to wait in line just to have to leave empty handed. I try to give places more than one chance, so I've gone in a few times since and have only had one good experience throughout my visits. Probably won't return. Dollar general corporation needs to work on this store

Friendly staff, but the store is so unorganized that its hard to walk through. There were carts with stuff in it left everywhere and there were some aisle that I couldn't walk down at all with a stroller. The store is a little dirty too.

Poor customer service. Store is a mess. Rarely stocked. Let me add. This store is always closed during business hours. At least 2 days a week. I have requested to speak to the general manager over and over but as you could probably guess. That hasn't happened. This store is a disgrace.

The customer service was very friendly. It was easy in and easy out. There was no waiting in line. Everything was organized in the store with easy access to the aisles... I would visit there again!

Very unorganized with a poorly trained staff. Problems at this location start at the top, which is very unfair to the retail associates who are in direct communication with customers and/or responsible for basic organization of this stores day to day operations.

It's okay workers are friendly but they are always closing early or some days not open at all. Credit card machine is down 50% of the time and always running out of milk and dogfood.

The store in Ridgeland is always cluttered with merchandise on carts blocking half the aisles end the lines is long with only one register open and no one will come open another register I only go here wh I absolutely can't find it anywhere else in toqn

The store is a mess when talking about the overall organization of products. Random placement of products and poor quality, with broken packaging etc. But what can you expect in a "dollar" store?

They were great when they 1st opened, then every isle blocked by carts & they close at a drop of a hat, closed now, one day open then closed. Wish they'd get it together because location was great for us locals.

This store on Parris Island Gateway in Beaufort South Carolina is always in total disarray. There were no buggies inside the store and all the buggies outside we're stuck together I personally had to pull my own buggy apart you cannot get through the aisles because of the nastiness and everybody just standing around chatting.

I guess they just make whatever hours they want. The sign on the door says they flose at 8 and the website says 8 but it's 7:23 and the lady says they're closed

I went in the store to get some Italians ice last week and they still had the stock in the way.. I went in today and the stock was still there . They are very slow.. Ralph had a situation with a customer and he's cashing out other customers and the guy with the burgundy hair didn't help him at all. Where are the team at in that store....

Love the prices and convenient of the stores, but most of the stores are crowded with package items in the narrow isles. This problem makes it so difficult to shop.

It's the same as every other Dollar General, fair enough prices on almost everything. People were and usually are every where disconnected, not REALLY happy. I wonder if they are underpaid?

This place sucks. One day its open next day its not . called customer service no explanation and could care less what i was saying so i guess they dont want my money or anyone elses . HELLO FAMILY DOLLAR
