The prices are great and the quality of the food is awesome especially, the meats. The staff is always friendly and ready to address my shopping desires. They get a gold star from me for providing exceptional service.

Tbh I love this grocery store and the staff are helpful. The food is cheap. But today i got heated. In the middle of the isle. A dairy stocker and customer were chatting and I said "excuse me". It took them 3 seconds to move. The dairy stocker said "you could've said excuse me." In a rude way. I was confused and angry bc I said it already but she was too busy talking to the customer to hear me. I heard what she said but I ignored it bc I hate confrontation and drama. Please review your staff members. This is unacceptable or misunderstanding to assume I didn't say "excuse me." Assumptions are common but doesn't mean she have to snap at me.

Always clean and well organized. Even when under construction. Has a great meat selection with some extremely friendly and knowledgeable butchers. Large freezer section. Has most products you need, but nothing specialized or ethnic. Produce does not last as long as other grocery stores in the area.

The meat box prices are outstanding! Best flower selection ever for very low prices! Fantastic customer service! Have cash to tip the bag boy :) they work hard and do a great job!

I love the fact that there actual butchers in the meat department and they will cut a rack of ribs for you, a pork loin or a slice up a roast for stew. All this for no extra charge, trying getting that at Walmart!

My shopping experience was quiet (except for the checkout machine) and there was always someone to ask if they carried a particular item. I still have to stop by Walmart. I checked myself out but the machine is turned up too and on some items it let everyone know that I needed assistand it was on the way. Lol

Hours aren't the best, closed on Mondays and if the holiday falls on that day they're closed the next day too. Produce and products are okay.. staff is friendly. Since remodeling it's not to bad inside

It's a commissary. This particular commissary is fairly small compared to others, but it also serves a smaller group of members and is on a training base. The produce is fine, nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible either. The meat selection is decent, and cheap.The selection is limited since this is a small commissary, however of the items you are looking for in a grocery store are here. They have finished the remodel or are in the final stages and the place has a well deserved facelift. It is brighter and everything is clean. Of course if you show up late on a payday or stock day then it might be a bit messy and low on stock obviously. Overall it's a good place to shop for most of your grocery needs. But you will need to make another stop if you need specialty items or a specific brand.

I usually enjoy shopping here with my mom, but we actually had a terrible experience two days ago. We were basically told by a cashier that I wasn’t allowed to swipe my mom’s debit card/type in her PIN to pay for our groceries because she was the one with the military ID. The cashier stated that she could deny the transaction as well because I should not have had her card anyway. We didn’t understand what the issue was because not only is my mother elderly, but hey that’s my mother lol! Never has this happened before while shopping here or at any other store & I’m actually surprised that this happened.

Staff is friendly and helpful but the facility is deplorable. Visibly dirty and in the warm months has large amounts of flies inside. Milk spills are a constant fixture in front of the dairy case. They store the dairy in carts in the back and its just all thrown in, not sure how that is considered acceptable storage practices. The produce section is lacking and every time I purchase the prewashed salad boxes they are rotting in the center. They keep that area too cold which causes the lettuce to freeze and thaw and turn to sludge. Not sure how it passes inspection, probably because it's a government facility and they can get away with it. Definitely the worst commissary I have ever been in.

Decent prices on produce and meat. The deli is the gem Evanele is what keeps me coming back some of the best sandwiches and banana pudding im town.

Staff are professional, courteous, and friendly. However, there is not any Propel water there anymore, which is the only water I drink. Also, no more ready made Arizona decaffeinated tea.

It has been a while since I have shopped on a military installation but it is a true pleasure of appreciating this benefit. Now PI is no Fort Jackson, it is small and does not carry what a major Army facility has but I appreciate what it does. I am a shopper and know prices and PI has Walmart beat on average by 15%. I have givin four stars based off the size of the facility. Bravo to the employees of this Commissary on being so polite.

This commissary is small. The selection is inadequate for the population of Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton counties. If you find something you want I recommend you pick up two or three because it may not be there next payday or the price will go up by $0.20 or more. Every time they move things around they delete items so you need to plan ahead or shop out in town for the items that are not available at this commissary. What the online flyer says is on special they may not have for example they were supposed to receive $0.39 a pound turkeys. I was there on Sunday believing I was going to be able to get a turkey that was advertised until 11/11 unfortunately there was a sign that said they will not receive any $0.39 pound turkeys until Tuesday. By then all the active duty. retirees have already shopped and no longer need a turkey or have to come back to stand in line on Tuesday morning to get a $0.39 pound turkey. This commissary caters more to the recruits and their families than they do to the military in their area.

The drill instructors would steal our atm cards and go do their personal shopping with the recruit's money here. It's one of the biggest rackets ever. You are stolen from your entire time in the Marine Corps.
