I hate the self checkouts. There's usually 3 personnel at the self checkouts when the could be running a register. Went in after dark about 2 weeks ago, no registers were open except the self checkouts, 2 personnel there and 4 personnel in the garden section browsing around just talking. Pay increases with less work. Costing the customers. Check the cameras and see the above is true.

The lines were 17 people deep with 3 cashiers. I felt absolutely awful for the staff. People were being polite (mostly) it wasn’t their fault.Terrible place. I’ll drive 37 miles before I do this again..

Myself and the family did our regular grocery trip , a good experience as usual . Except yet again the shelves were not stocked. Cost me more money than it should have due to this.

Believe it or not this Walmart stands out for me because the service was awesome had a question about locating an item and had an employee walk me directly to it and then walk me through the cash register and helped me thoroughly while I was inside the store

Carts and pallets full of stuff to go on the shelves blocked the isles.Long lines at the self checkout, the only other register open was for 20 items or less .And the bags at the self checkout were messed up and we finally gave up trying to get them to open.

What can I say. It’s a giant Walmart, and they pretty much have everything. Most of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Lost a star for not having turnips on the shelf when I needed them.

BEWARE!!!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CAR AND ACT LIKE THEY HAVE NO RECOLLECTION OF IT!!!! My mother in law lives and shops at this Walmart and had her car towed by some towing company that Walmart didn't even have a record of. They charged her $350 for a 5 minute trip inside and out of the store for 'parking in an online pick up spot'. When she asked who towed the car, they said they didn't know and didnt have a record of it. That's some underhanded shady mess if I ain't ever heard of any. The name of the company is Edward's Towing out of Allendale, SC. They will be dealt with accordingly.

This store has serious issues!! I’ve been in this store four times since recently relocating to Barnwell. You can see laziness everywhere!!! Carts of stock and merchandise sitting in every aisle, waiting to be put away!! You have to move these carts to get to the merchandise behind them on the shelf!! You see plenty of Wal Mart workers in the store, but only a few actually working to put merchandise away. This store is an absolute mess!!! I’d rather drive an hour and a half back to Columbia than go back into this store!!!! Terrible terrible store!! Sloppy, Messy, looks like a tornado hit and just tore it up!! Management not doing their job in this store and that is at every level!!!!

Way better service than 514 in Aiken. Over in Barnwell, people are nice. On a side note, If your looking for a poker game set up, they have them. Newport sold separately. 😀

I like Walmart Supercenter, but confess to preferring the smaller neighborhood center.When I go grocery shopping I want FOOD 😩Too many (clothing/ unmasked crowds) potentials for distraction, and STILL have to self checkout on top of that? No Ma'am.Neighborhood Walmart seems to have a more helpful, patient and even tempered staff. Maybe I just happen to go on days, but that has been MY personal experience. Will only respond to positive responses, NO rebuttals.

So personally I never had to much of an issue at this location. There are a few things that I will call out though. It’s not the cleanest Walmart. Though the customers have a hand in that. Some odd characters that seemed to be targeting certain customers. They always ask for five stars which should let anyone know that things aren’t great. Shoutout to the cart guys though. They bust their tail out there.

The sugar in our Walmart looked stranger, was not very sweet...tried several brands on shelf...saved what was not used...it caused bloating, heart burn...coffee several brands..saved what I didn't use...taste like wood chips...worse coffee... Creamer also did not dissolve completely in coffee... milk had what looked like a seed...what's going on at Walmart?

The price tags are often incorrect, and several departments are often poorly stocked, but it isn't generally due to lack of effort. The employees are always busy when I see them, and they're generally kind. Oh, and it's particularly clean for a Walmart.

Not a bad store for a small local town try to use local vendors as much as I can versus the big box like Walmart. However, sometimes you just have to get what you can where you can. Self check out is a pain in the butt and the lines were long to get out of there. Probably not a good idea to go shopping in the afternoon on a Saturday. Very busy time. Otherwise overall good.

Waited over am hour for a manager to come finalize my gun sale. This was after the back ground check and everything. Managers refused to come help because they were "busy doing something else". Won't try to buy another gun from there.

Where do I start. The parking lot needs to be paved smooth it tears up the shopping cart wheels. Wal-Mart will not let me purchase alcohol if my wife forgot her ID. An employee snatched wine out of my wife's hand. I told her I was buying it but she wouldn't let me. And today an employee at the self checkout gave herself a five star. I told her I didn't want to give them any stars and she just gave me a nasty look and went to the next guy and was doing the same thing. Walmart in barnwell never has the products or groceries restocked in time when we go. I tried to call HR and let them know about the "five star employee" and no answer and no voice mail.

4 associates around the garden area, jibber jabbering, and when asked to chacek us out, stated they did not have the information to run the register. I could have walked out with my purchases, and no one cared. And you wonder why Walmart leaves your towns! Dumb management or associates, you decide.

Employees do not like helping customers. Multiple stocked items were mismatched to the tags placed on shelves. Made shopping hard. Multiple purchases over the past couple of years has had poor quality. Bathrooms hardly work, not cleaned very well, broken depensers and not stocked of supplies like soap. Disgusting thought of them handling our food or for that matter any item.
