One of the nastiest stores I've been in. Nearly every aisle was blocked by carts or boxes making it awkward anytime 2 people tried to cross in an aisle. Extremely hard to find things as most of the shelves had product thrown all about. It's as if the employees never tidy the shelves. Didn't interact with any employees so I can't give input on their demeanor, but the filth of the store was enough for me.

Update: Went recently and I do see the attempt at upgrading the store. Looks alil cleaner. New self checkout. Not bad.Messy, darkly lit areas, over stuffed, only one register/ and register has been cash only for the longest apparently. All the vibes of a small town that time forgot, and that I will soon forget to.

Dollar General is always awesome when it comes to making sure that you can run in and grab something quick. This location specifically is good but the store associates/cashiers are hit and miss. Meaning you may get one that is awesome and greets you properly and has a bit of a convo while checking out, while another not so much as to crack a smile and yesterday that's what I got dirty looks and a a board straight face. Due to this and the fact that you HAVE to have the digital app to get certain savings...I'm rating it a 3/5 (you are not Walmart so stop pricing things as such, your supposed to be a dollar store).

Always some1 to help you find what u looking for. Quick ringouts. Allows my kids(dogs) to be outside of store off leash bc my town doesnt have a leash law. Article 2 section 4- 17. Specifically part a. Very convenient since I live 1/4 mile away.

I found everything I needed. It was not far from the state park thus it was easy to access. They have a good supply of food, drinks, craft items and non-food. I would recommend this dollar general to anyone.

The cashier was WONDERFUL. She worked non stop either at checkout or stocking merchandise. DG, either put more staff on the floor or hire more. Whatever it takes to straightened up a bit throughtout the day & EVENING. Would have given 5 stars except for the inexcusable messy house. It's Wednesday, not a major shopping day like Saturday.;

I love using the DG app to save on my items, so far I saved $11.00 on one purchase. I love the $5.00 with a $25 purchase on Saturdays too!

A wonderful store to shop if you don't want to wait in the busy Wal-Mart lines of Barnwell, SC. It has reasonable prices and great customer service.

I went to several , but the one in ESTILL, SC WAS THE BEST..I CALLED ABOUT ALCOHOL...THE REP SAID COME ON I GOT ONE LET...ITWAS EASY TO FIND..EASY ENTRY/EXIT...HANDICAPPED PARKING IN FRONT...GOOD PARKING LOT...THE LADY MET ME AND SAID I HAVE IT AT REGISTER AND I HAVE 1 CANISTER OF LYSOL WIPES...IF I WANTED THEM..I BOUGHT BOTH... :0)I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE REST OF THE STAFF , BUT THIS LADY WAS WONDERFUL...SMILING AND FRIENDLY AND, EVEN THO SHE DIDNT KNOW ME, IT WAS INCREDIBLE HOW LOOKED OUT FOR ME..!!!.THE STORE WAS NICE AND CLEAN AND ORGANIZED....AMBIENCE WAS GOOD AND I WAS IN AND OUT IN 5 MINUTES...THE BEST STORE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT THE DOLLAR GENERAL IN ESTILL, SC...!THANKS TO A WOMAN WHO CARES....I TOLD HER I DROVE FROM SAVANNAH....SHE , LISTEN SIR, WE GOT A TRUCK COMING IN FRIDAY..COME BACK IF YOU CAN...WOWOWOWOW...IM GOING BACK !!!IF YOU ARE IN ESTILL, SC BE SURE TO STOP AT DOLLAR GENERAL FOR YOU NEEDS...THE STORE IS WELL ROUNDED FOR EVERY DAY NEEDS.YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID...

Anyone looking for affordable groceries locally won't have to look any further than the Dollar General in Williston, SC. Prices are competitive with the locally owned (and ran) Schumpart's Market (where the Piggly Wiggly, or Pricewise, used to be before it burned down) or IGA (across where the old railroad tracks used to be). Any out of towners visiting family or passing through will, for the most part, should be able to get what they need without making a trip to the Walmart in Barnwell, SC unless they need to.Been living in Williston, SC for 15+ years and usually find everything is available @ the Dollar General, especially after they moved to their new location next to the Hardee's where the Dollar Tree used to be.Hope this helps folks either visiting family or passing through.
