A special experience! I bought truffles for my kids' Christmas Eve gift. The strawberry shortcake truffle is my favorite. The red velvet truffle is also wonderful! We had the Reuben lunch special and it is delicious. I loved getting to choose a sweet treat with my meal. Get the lady finger! The best you'll ever have! They have a salad bar and many ready to purchase delights. I bought a wonderful loaf of homemade bread too! Spices galore, herbal teas, candied fruits you need to make fruit cake near the holidays, etc. It's a cupboard I would stay in forever!

Great place to grab a quick bite or sit down to have a meal. Offer small hot bar, salad bar and a sandwich station. Also, there is a room with natural herbs to help you with many ailments. You walk in and you feel like family. I even keep in touch with a lady I met there, Ms. Shareka... she and the other staff are so kind and helpful!! We will be returning

I expected a country-cooking meat and three. But enjoyed a unique conglomeration of local lunchtime activity. I learned to follow the instructions: order your sandwich here, eat over there, pay somewhere else, and turn in your paperwork at the exit. I guess I got a B+ in following directions. They also had a bookstore, specialized canned preserves, bakery, herbal medicinal section as well as the sandwich shop.

This is basically my one stop shop in Barnwell. Don't want to cook - I stop by and get fresh meals. The selection of spices and herbs is off the chart. The owners are wonderful and always present. I often consult for remedies and they are very generous with their time and knowledge. I love the focus they have on building community, and also go regularly to their Country Cafe for breakfast.Parking: Tons of parking! Not a problem

I love the little pantry in the store. When I visited today they had 50 pound bags of Prairie Gold Montana hard white wheat berries for almost half the price of online places! I bought it up but I’m sure they’ll restock 😊 For bakers and canners they also have Clear Jel, bulk pectin, and spices. I usually visit once a year to stock up before canning season. Kind, friendly service. It’s well worth the drive to shop here.

I am from Chicago so I am picky with obtaining good quality food. Country cupboard makes great quality food! They are the hidden gem of Barnwell. We frequent this place about once a week whether it is for lunch, teas, essential oils, or groceries. My favorite is the club sub with a cream soda to drink. Every week we get cheese, lunchmeat, and salsa for groceries. They also have fun coloring books!

The cutest place ever! It really is a store that takes you back in time. I got the Italian Trio sub and it was delicious. It was my first time in so I had no clue what I was doing. But the employees were so friendly! Friendly and fast. Freshly baked goods available. I definitely had to buy some of their fresh sweets! Also, very cheap pricing!

Not what I was expecting, but what an interesting find! Sandwiches were delicious, and the fresh in house made sweets were amazing! I can't wait to being my wife and rest of family back to let them try it out. My son and I tried it out with my bro-in-law when his friend recommended this place and we are so glad he did!

Stopped here on our way back home from Charleston and it was delicious! Staff was SUPER friendly and sweet. The sandwiches we had were very fresh and the market had a lot of great finds! Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area.
