You walk in and smell the rotting meat somewhere and everyone else seems to be oblivious to it, whomever the owner is should have that looked into. I would not want to buy any meat out of a place that smells like that.

Inflated prices throughout the store, especially in the meat department. Cashiers are usually bored and humdrum, not very forthcoming when asked a question. Not a pleasant experience. I wish I had access to other venues. I only shop at IGA because I don't have transportation elsewhere. Five or six years ago this was not the case. It was under different management and shopping there was affordable and a pleasure.

Over priced and workers are not helpfull and cashiers are decent except this one lady she is super slow waits on you to bag your groceries and rude very impolite every time I ask about something in store gives a rude look and doesn't answer and acts like your the rude one lol worst place to shop in town

We visited the Barnwell IGA for the first time since moving here looking for an alternative to Walmart to grocery shop. Comparing prices, the IGA was definitely higher on most items of comparison. I did make a purchase and at the checkout I felt as though the cashier wasn't very friendly. Having a bad day perhaps? If and when I return, I'll hope to see that she's having a better day.

Bigger than the one in Williston and setup was very good. I found things easy and also saw things not at the one where I live. Representatives and employees all nice and friendly willing to help if needed so was very great full. Will be going back to check things out more when have time and space to put things I pick up

Good selection. Decent prices for a smaller store but always has more registers open and shopping carts available for you to actually shop with. Better variety than the larger "Walton" store in town and it's only half the size

I like the changes that has been made. The meat's are being well stocked and kept clean , and neat .I'm not the only one who has noticed the improvements throughout the store.I say a BIG 👍 and give the Store and it's employees a 💯! Its Great to shop in a clean friendly store and you have someone whose asking ...can I help you find something? It takes shopping to a whole new level.Thank you for all you do for us.GREAT JOB IGA.

We came in here at 10am and after 2pm and the customer service desk was closed and we were told that they open at 9am and close at 2pm but when we got there at 10am they were closed, not the best idea for a business to get and keep customers.

So it's not bad. What I mean is the produce isn't bad at all. The meat is good quality also. My only problem is even though the staff was helpful and nice, the place in general doesn't feel welcoming.

I went in the store today 12/18/21 it smelled terrible. I don't think they keep the meat case clean along with other problems. It sad when your children complain about the smell and ask to leave. It wasn't like this before so I don't know what has happen but unless I know things have changed I will not be back. It sad considering besides Walmart it's all we have.

Ummm..... This shopping location provided some good low prices, however depending upon the product, be aware of the value. For example, I looked at their meats, be sure to look very closely at their meats for freshness and high quality, that's what you expect! Customer service is very good!

Great prices on meat and the cashier an older woman that was working at the cash register behind me was super sweet. The young one was throwing my sodas in the bag and didn't even speak to me. Super rude!

Thank you to all of the employees at our local IGA! They have gone above and beyond during this time of madness in our small town. They have kept the shelves stocked, asked customers if there is anything they can help them with and even go to the back to see if something that’s not on the shelf is available. I find it criminal when a store manager singles out a female employee and berates her work because she refused to date him. This was done to my girlfriend and mother to our son. It makes me wonder does he only single out white women since he is black or does he do this to all the women.

"Okay" is the best rating a Barnwell, SC grocery store can get. Cheap prices on meat, especially if you are into things like chicken feet. Not much selection otherwise. It is worth it to come here over any other choices simply to avoid a zoo in the parking lot.

Good place to shop and have great deals. Store is not more convenient for disable individuals. They need more electronic chairs for those that may need them.
