Dr Altman and his staff are the best. I've been going to them since I moved to Conway years ago. He is an extremely intelligent veterinarian and very caring. All my dogs love him and the staff. I have worked and been around veterinarians all my life and I rate this hospital as one of the best. I've had numerous large dogs and Dr. Altman has helped us get through some of the toughest times with honesty and compassion. He is the best.

I normally wouldn't write a review, but I think this should be shared.I had an emergency with my pet Luna. I called on my way & Doctor Altman had agreed to see my pet who was in pain. They seemed like they had a busy schedule, but that didn't stop him from taking his time to examine my dog (WHICH IS ACTUALLY RARE TO FIND). He was upfront & cut to the chase, provided me with excellent service. I always appreciate a small private-owned practice. No wonder you guys aren't accepting new clients, you guys are amazing & when you do I will definitely be one of you're newest clients! Thank you to the staff & doctor again you guys are amazing!

Anytime that I visit this office Dr Altman is friendly, direct, and realistic when it comes to my dogs health he also provides all options and recommendations as needed. Reminds me of a general practitioner or an awesome pediatrician for the "fur babies"

On Christmas Day or 7 month old puppy began to not act quite right. The next morning he was lethargic, passing blood and vomiting. We call Dr. Altman and we were told to bring him right in. Dr Altman spent the next 8 days doing everything he could to save our boy. He called us like clockwork 3 times a day keeping us updated on everything that was happening. I know he spent quite a few nights way beyond closing hours taking care of Griz. He truly went above and beyond for Grizzly and never gave up. It was a grave situation and he was very professional and caring. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this man and his staff. They were so compassionate and took the time to explain everything in detail. His charges were more than reasonable. I cannot express in words just how wonderful they are and how grateful I am to have this man and his staff for our animals in their time of need.

I have 8 dogs and 1 cat that goes to see Bill and his wonderful staff. Great atmosphere and the genuine honest kindness they show to your pets and your babies humans, well it is the most rewarding. Whether it's good news or something that's unbearable to hear, they are with you every step of the way. Down to earth honest and sincere. The best. Would recommend to anyone who needs a great Vet and staff. Prayers and thank you so much for everything.

Dr. Altman knows his stuff folks. He’s about the friendliest and personable vet I’ve ever used. He definitely knows Dobermans! Great guy and staff. Service is very clean....none of that nasty, runny poop smell all the other vet offices seem to have. He really cares about the animals too. No phony baloney! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Altman and his staff were very professional and courteous during my "new patient" visit with my cat Izzie. In initially speaking with Sophia, I was encouraged by her calm assurance that I would be able to see and speak with the doctor, something practically unheard of during this Covid epidemic. I found Dr. Altman to be very caring and compassionate in advising me in the care of my geriatric feline. He was very thorough, but didn't go out of his way to order unnecessary tests; both out of concern for the cost, and ultimately for the comfort of my fur-baby. I definitely would recommend this practice and this vet to anyone interested in getting the BEST possible care for their animals.I was referred by Ronda and Jim Bain, and as we all know, there's nothing better than "word of mouth" advertising to spread the news, whether it's good or bad. My puppy tore his back paw nail off. I called and they saw me right away. Dr. Altman performed surgery right then.He fixed Chester's paw, kept him for a few hours to make sure he was all right, then sent him home. And now a week later, my little guy is running and playing. The staff is caring and to think Dr. Altman fit a surgery in in the middle of his busy day speaks volumes!

So I tried to call in a book a appointment for a yearly checkup. I was told they where booked to the middle of January 2022. So I then ask could I be put on a cancellation list. Lady on phone didn’t seem interested in doing that. She also gave me the impression that she didn’t care if she got my business. Very poor manners on the phone. Very disappointed

Liked Dr Altman but called to setup a return visit dog we just rescued that he had been seeing and to bring in my other dogs. Said had to call me back ok that was 830 am 4pm I call back still same answer. Will try to call before I leave. Called next day still can't helpand need to call back. Next day got a new person and ahe said she was new and would have to have someone call me back shortly. Gave up at 400 and called my old vet and got an appt when I needed right then.

Dr. Altman is well known around Aynor and Galivants Ferry as a competent, kind and caring Veterinarian. I moved to Galivants Ferry last year and took all of my dogs to see him. My dogs gave him 5 Stars and so do I. My sister said Dr Altman became her Vet as soon as he arrived in Aynor years ago for her dog Joshua.
