I’ve been shopping at food lion for many years, in several places in NC. Yep, they have their issues with products sometimes but in general, I’m not sure I could shop somewhere else. Their app has a reward program, basically cashback, you can track your savings, get coupons, make a list - it’s pretty great. And their staff is usually very friendly & helpful. There is one near the beach we go to that has some great premade sandwiches salads etc. We almost always pick something up after a day at the beach. It reminds me of the A&P we shopped at as a kid in Massachusetts. So a little nostalgia too. 😂. Thanks Food Lion. I appreciate you!!!

Great grocery store, been shopping here for 30 years, part of the community. Saying that, they need to do better in the meat section and butcher shop.Chicken& ribs regardless beef or pork are not fresh. The last 5x I have shopped there. When you open the packages it smells spoiled. There is also always a shortage of both. I dont know if it's the meat employees or poor freezer handling in the back of the building but, it's annoying when you are spending $80 at a time to feed a family of 8.If they solve this, I'll stop going other places and change this review to 5 stars. They also need more fresh pepper varieties in produce.

I came in today around 4 and accidentally left my two 12 pack of sodas on the counter, then two lovely associates who’s names are Sheairra (excuse me if it’s spelled incorrectly) and Zion ran out to my car in this 90° heat to make sure I didn’t leave without them! That’s the definition of customer service!!

We stop by Foodlion and family dollar here in Andrews every day after work to pick up what we cook for dinner and our snacks. I love small town living. The atmosphere is awesome the staff are friendly and helpful, the store itself is always clean and well stocked. (Except for cookies n cream ice cream sandwiches) LMAO!!!. I recommend this store to everyone.

Great store great employees the only problem I've ever had at this particular Food Lion is the quantities of products they stock. Sometimes you'll find things that are offered to be on sale are in very low quantities on the Shelf if anything is on the Shelf at all. I've spoken with management several times about this and they always offer me the sale price on the product when it does come in if the sale ends before the product arrives.

The employees are, for the most part, pathetic. Not every one, but as a whole. You ask where something can be found - they have no clue. They don't even try to help. When one does ask another associate, they too are most often met with the same response. The "help", and I use the term loosly, are often just standing around wasting time talking amongst themselves and/or often have their heads in their phones while supposedly on the job. While some are better than others there are those manning the registers that should not be on the front lines. They don't greet you. They don't speak a word the whole time they are ringing you out, and they certainly don't bother to thank you in any way for shopping there. Our retail society has truly lost it's way with customer service and the type of people that apparently are ok to hire and keep, no matter how bad of an employee they are. Food Lion needs to hire a ton of secret shoppers to reveal to corporate just how things are when they aren't paying attention. Better yet, corporate should just pay covert visits themselves to their own stores and witness the sad state if affairs with their own eyes. This isn't to say that every employee is bad at all Food Lions, but Food Lion Andrews needs help.

Went into this store to get my daughter something. Was met with a employee sitting at a table telling me I came in the wrong way and the next time I need to go in the right way. First off I don’t live in Andrews I was there visiting my daughter. There was nothing telling me the right and wrong way to enter there was even an employee standing outside the door that I went I. And didn’t say anything to me. The attitude that I was met with was awful. There is a right way and wrong way to say something and she treated me like I was a criminal. I don’t live there but my daughter and all her in-laws live in Andrews and I assure you they will not be shopping there.

I rated a 5 because this is my favorite Food Lion. It has the best lay out of any one I have been in. I shop at 4 or more Food Lions. My complaint is with the cashiers and bagging. I'm finding this to be with several Food Lions. They need to go to bagging school. They put 2 big heavy items in 1 bag I had to request to double bag. It has become a big issue of not bagging a single 6 pack of 20 oz sodas. Other than bagging issues the only other problem is the hiring manager who hires her personal picks verses who is qualified to give good customer service and perform a good job of getting customers in and out quickly.

This is my main shopping for groceries they have the Shop & Earn and good sales on food and household items. I just wish I could get the $4.99 lb. Rib eye steaks when they first opened and lower prices on meats like Piggly Wiggly.

The Food Lion on Andrews Road in Fayetteville, NC has a problem with rotating stock. I've accidentally bought expired food three times in the last couple months. I'm talking expired by a substantial amount of time. For example, the yogurt I bought yesterday expired over a week ago! I have pictures and receipts. I have also had issues with ham and english muffins. Watch out for items marked "Hot Sale", because they're probably already bad. Unacceptable.

Cashier was not nice. Didn't even want to put my milk in a bag. I had to bag it. Remodeling is a mess. Then she cheated me on my change.
