We ordered online, gave it plenty of time. When we showed up, the order wasn't ready, and 1/3 of what they said was in stock, wasn't. They tried to process a refund and after 20 minutes, they asked us to just cancel our online order and pay in-store.THAT checkout took 15 minutes.The people were nice but sloooooow and inefficient.

If I could give them lower stars than that I would. Really rude employees. If I were corporate I would get rid of all of them. 1 specifically. 1 employee said some extremely rude things to me. I will never shop there again.

I have always enjoyed shopping at White Jones. The staff is helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about their repair shop. I dropped off a back pack blower a month ago. They said it would be about two weeks before they would get to it. I checked back in two weeks and was told I was third in line. I didn’t hear from anyone in a week so I called again. I was told “he has his hands on it as we speak.” I waited another week and still no call. Today I stopped by thinking it must surely be repaired. Nope! The mechanic didn’t even have the courtesy to come out and speak to me. I took back my deposit and brought the blower home. I’m not much of a mechanic but I had the problem figured out in 30 minutes and needed no parts. I tried to speak with the manager before leaving the store but he wasn’t available. Very disappointing experience!

The largest Ace Hardware I've ever been in. I ordered some outdoor chairs they had in stock, so we were there for just a pick up. Store was clean and employees very friendly. Seems they'd have whatever you may need. Wish it was closer to us.

We went here to get accessories for our wood heater. We had two employees to ask us if we needed any help. They actually made a suggestion about something for us to buy. Then another employee asked if she could help but we had already found what we needed. Everything was fine until we went to the register. We were going to use our ace member card and we didn't have it with us. She tried looking for our member card two different ways but couldn't find it. She acted like we didn't have one. I know we have a card. I guess we have misplaced it, because we can't find it. After that we been back twice to buy birthday gifts but have not been able to use our card either time. We puchased our grandbabies the cutest little wheel barrow for their birthday.

Hardware one of the chains for Ace hardware so you get all the good knowledgeable help you need at the same time. A lot of available products if they don't have at Lowe's or home Depot. However, I really wish to help. Had a little bit more knowledge about what they're selling.

The store is a little pricey compared to Lowes but the customer service is definitely a lot better! David is the go-to man when you have any questions! He took his time to be sure we found what we were looking for!

Can never get anyone on the phone without holding for at least 20 minutes.If the one parts person is off that day..that whole dept. Shuts down.Bought simple job in on Monday..said it would be ready Tues and they would call.It's Friday and still waiting to hear.Poor service...and don't care attitude

Many visits here. Its a very good place and business. They usually have what I'm looking for. Just that based on my experiences, when I needed help finding something the workers are always hanging out socializing amongst themselves. I asked to locate a part, he just pointed to an aisle and went back goofing off. Maybe its just me, but I remember a time when someone always offered to help. I got nothing against anyone, I'm just like whats the point of having so many workers there if they're not interested in helping customers.

There is something about this hardware store I like. Although I didn't buy anything yesterday. I saw about 3 big ticket items I will be looking into. Everybody is always friendly, and they don't follow you around like you're stealing from them. Product knowledge is key in sales and these guys seem to have that covered.

I recently purchased an ego battery powered lawn mower, battery and charger from ace hardware located in the Watson Village Shopping Center. I tried to return the mower package because it did not meet my expectations for performance. It wasn't powerful enough for my thick lawn and the grass clippings did not feed into the bagger so I had to take up the grass clippings after I mowed. I explained this to the store dept manager but she said that I could not return it because it had been used. Well duh...Yes I said buy your return policy stated that returns accepted within 30 days. Except for gas powered equipment, also the policy states that it must be returned in new, like new condition in original pkg with all manuals and paperwork. I followed their instructions but I was told that it was not new and had been used. What's the point of accepting only new unused equipment, appliance, electronics if you're not going to use it also what good is a warranty or return policy that only accepts new unused items.I sure that ace hardware will not miss loosing one customer but I will be happy to spend my money for better customer service and a reasonable return policy.Shoppers please be aware of ace hardware return policy. I think that it is a little misleading and the could care lessTed

Trying to get a gas line have the gas line in my hand need someone to give me a price on it saw three individuals is sitting in a chair laughing and giggling shooting the bull riding the clock getting paid for nothing. stood there for about 15 minutes walk past them two times never got no help no one ever asked me if they could help me it's a shame they're getting paid just to come in and have fun and sit down in a chair all day long. I really don't understand customer service was awful this ain't the first time this has happened but this is the last time I will not be back.

Helpful staff very informative. The store was kind of crowded... But not with people, with products. I feel like it was very homely but not very efficient as far as store layout. I loved the deals I got a huge bag of bird food for 10 bucks. The staff also helped me figure out which lightbulb for my microwave. I would definitely go back it's closer than Lowes, but I do wish it was a better layout.

It was excellent. They were super helpful, and saved me from having to get a $79 dollar key made for my truck. They cut the extra key I had with me to fit , in effect, saving me seventy nine dollars plus tax. And in case it didn't work, they didn't even charge me since it was a key I already had , and they just cut it , but it was a real lifesaver since I didn't have the money to spend on an 80 dollar key. I would recommend them to anybody for all their hardware needs.

This is a good store with good employees in a bad part of two. The employees are friendly as long as they think you are one of them. The cash register attendant are a fickle bunch that may be in good spirits one day and no so much the next. The guy at the gun counter is a pretty nice old codger with ample stories of his glory days. All this said it's one of my favorite stores and I support it as much as I can when I can. Good people.

Helpful staff. Decent stock with good prices.But if you leave something to get worked on don’t expect to get it back. But get the runaround for months then get called a liar by the management. We dropped off a small tiller and we’ve called about it for months. Just yesterday we were told that it doesn’t have compression. But now they are saying that we only dropped off the motor. I wouldn’t have taken the motor off of the tiller. I took it in to see what was wrong with the machine not just the motor. But now it’s disappeared except for a motor that doesn’t work. Steer clear of the shop unless you don’t want your equipment back.

3rd time coming to this place. Never have what I need or just can't find it. Several employess up front standing around talking about their personal lives. Found one guy in the back. He didn't seem to want to be bothered. I asked for what I needed. He said "probably don't have it". I will not come back. Off to Lowes I go.

So I have been dealing with trying to get a chip key made for our car for two days now. I’ve called several local places that never called back, dealt with a place that cut the key wrong, it’s been a nightmare. I am leaving this White Jones Ace Hardware a VERY happy customer because Clarence and Mary actually listened to what I thought was going on and got me taken care very quickly. This store is like 4 miles further for me, but I will totally go out of the way to come here because they take the time to listen and are just great! Thank you again Clarence and Mary!

The one and only reason I'm giving this store 5 stars is because they always have what I want. The 5 stars does not include the attitude of its employee's because they are mostly just blah. They are not friendly and have no desire to make you feel welcomed. Just be thankful you can get what you need and get it quick because it's almost depressing seeing how unhappy these people are.
