I have been coming to this place for over 40 years and I was so so disappointed when we went yesterday. The cleanliness here is absolutely disgusting. The inside of the restaurant was very dirty and nasty. There were flies everywhere, floors were gross, doors entering to the bathroom were extremely nasty, baseboards need to be completely ripped out and redone, the parking lot was very trashy. This place has truly gone downhill in cleanliness.

Had heard of this place from someone who lived here over 30 years. Came to buy 3 (traditional) Banana Splits. THE MGR took the order. What came to the window was 2 cups with bananas & requested toppings. On those orders expected at least frozen strawberries only had strawberry ice cream. Mgr didn't ask or clarify if I wanted a split or a boat. That's not my bad. The young lady who came to talk with me that I requested says she always ask and/or explain to customers the difference of what you will get. My cup did not have 1 (slice of) banana 🙄🍌. I requested a refund for mine but the other 2 had begun eating theirs. To expect 1 thing & something different in edibles takes my desire of my purchase to go away. I got my $ & asked the lady to do her business a favor and keep the mgr out of the window. He got everything wrong for us. I wouldn't buy anything else from them.

Fast food and ice cream. Been in business since the 1950s same location. Pretty decent burgers and fries. Always get exactly what I ordered. They went up on prices without notice their aren’t any signs stating the increase in prices the menu board still states past price and when they ring you up that’s when you find out they increased by abt 2.56 on each menu item. You know they eating but the food hasn’t changed

Everything was excellent, kinda... until the cheeseburgers We ordered were made with ground beef that was soured, and smelling like sweet meat. Still paid the price, tried to talk to the cook there, but was blown off, and not offered any recourse, refund, or asked if Anything else would suffice since the burgers were gack, and wack.Will not be returning, and would not recommend to anyone other than the locals that are used to the programming, and oxymoronic behavior patterns employed There.Bring back pre COVID business models please.Love, .•°•.|_|>|-|.•°•. 1️⃣

If I could give it 0 I would. All because the manager talked to us like trash. We used to LOVE this place. Been loyal customers for 12 years now. We had a mess up on an order and called to see if we could just drive back to get it fixed and we were told "you got what you ordered. You can come back but you are paying" and this is just one of the rude lines we heard from him. The grilled chicken breast was wrapped up in a napkin, the chicken wings half raw and all we asked for to fix it was slaw for ONE of the 6 plates.... the nastiest attitude I've heard in long time from any manager and I work in customer service. We literally had company from out of town and were trying to show them some "home style" we used to enjoy. And it was absolutely terrible. We ended up trashing 50$+ of food and ordering dominoes pizza. This place USED to be a weekly occurrence and we still know some of the workers from being regulars. But the manager was rude and flat out mean and the food is trash now. I get food mistakes happen! Hence why we were willing to drive and maybe even pay a bit to fix it but the managers attitude was the worst and he ended up hanging up on me.

Why do chocolate and mint ice cream go so well with each other? Some flavours are mint to be together! If you're looking for good food or a sweet treat this is the place to be. There's no need to split right after lunch or dinner hang out and enjoy a well portioned ice cream dessert 😋

They are the best they really need to expand so bad in a bigger place with bigger parking lot food prices are getting higher and higher hope the are going use it to move somewhere bigger and hirer more help but when I have the extra money and in the neighborhood bet your a$$ I'm going 😂 I'll seat happy in my car for a hour !!!

1st time customer. The service was great. The cashier was patient with me and answered all my questions respectfully. The chicken tenders and chicken club sandwich were good, but the fries (crinkle and steak fries) had no seasoning and would not recommend them. Will definitely go back again.

We love this place. My wife used to come here as a kid and now I bring her back home from England every time we visit. As vegetarians, we love the hush puppies, ice cream and sweet tea. The young guy serving us took an interest in why we were here. Y'all come here, ya hear?

The homemade ice cream is amazing!! We tried cooked foods a couple of days ago and it's pretty good as well. Some of the staff could be a little more friendly considering they work in customer service. Other than that it's a great place to go. I would definitely recommend trying if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed!!

Awful experience we have been loyal customers for over 20 years, but as of lately they haven't cared about the customer. I regularly spend $30 to $40, 2 to 3 times a week, but lately they have been running out of items. I called about a order that was not right and I couldn't get them to make my order correct without speaking to the owner. She comes and goes I still have my receipt all I wanted was them to make the order correct and replace the food , I was not asking for money back and I was told that because I didn't come back the next day I had to go through all the hoops and bounds. I even left my phone number for the owner to give me a call since our schedules conflict with each other so much I can't even get a call back. I really miss the old Nutty Sweet Shop, where they cared about the customer especially loyal customers.

Good ice cream doesn't exist here, sandwiches they were passable, went the other day for a sundae: ice cream non existent, fudge sauce cold ,tasteless, a huge glop, peanuts not drained, whip cream and cherry could they spare it. Better and cheaper to get Publix premium ice cream, Richardson sauces and enjoy.Restaurant spiraling down hill, with nice but inexperienced help. I've heard long time customers truly mishandled by clueless employees. If servers are clueless,food subpar, ice-cream a joke... that equals no customers...

There was a mistake made on one of our hamburger steak plates. My mother cannot eat onions, and they put onions on her plate. No big deal, I call back up there to get the plate remade. May sound petty to some, but when speaking to the manger, SCOTT, he had the most disrespectful and nastiest attitude when asked why the fries wouldn’t be replaced. I informed him that the fries were now cold and even offered to bring the old plate back. SCOTT said the fries were fresh when served and refused to remake the fries. Simply thought it was poor customer service, especially when the mistake was made on THEIR end.

My brother got me 👍 it. I never put gravy on my French fries been around my twin brother and my other brother bring the country girl out of me. They slaw love ❤️ it. Don't take my words try yourselves approved me wrong. My brother love Nutty Sweet Shop as well. People work there and people sit inside to eat very friendly. Used to be packed all the time and had great food, with a nice staff. The past few times I’ve been, my order was messed up in some way. It always took forever to fix it because I had to send my order back multiple times. Staff isn’t as nice anymore, at least not when we’ve been. Trash was over flowing in the dining room when they were slow. I used to really love eating here but now we really only come for the icecream and even that gets messed up usually.

I was visiting from Tampa and wanted some good southern food. My family recommended this place so we decided to check it out. I found their food to be a bit over priced. The receipt had no prices listed so I couldn't even tell if I was being charged the correct amount. It was okay but it took way too long to get the orders out.

Got Icecream on a Brownie and it is so delicious! Don't let the looks of the place deter you, it is a bit run down looking, but well worth going to!
