I wouldn't use this family dollar for anything. If you do then you need to pay in cash not credit or debit card. My daughter and brother have both had their card info stolen, and the only place they made purchases from that's the same is this store. My daughter is 15, it is the only store she's used her card at as she hasn't had it very long. So, the reader for cards has to have a skimmer on it. The same night her card was charged for 10 different charges for lyft cash. My brother's was charged for over 2k at a tire store in Columbia SC online order, and luckily the other 2k charge they tried to do was denied by the bank. If you use this store pay cash only!!!!

James, the store manager at North Main St. is Awesome! So kind.. don't go to the one on Greenville St. .. manager there said I was out of luck with receipts in hand, tags attached to clothes, less than 30 days. Explained no fitting room... Oh well she said.. call corporate they will tell you the same thing.. never again! North Main has won my business along with everyone I can convince.

This store is more like a convenience store when you are in the Area for items for your home or garden. I feel that the staff here are friendly however it may have been a day where sales were a little slow. The stock was plenty but I did not see any fantastic bargains. I did see a table. That was folderable table that I liked. However it was priced too high for the cover was faded. I ended up buying one item for 1dollar.

I love this place. Its a new store! They always have everything I need.. Its easy to go in grab what u need and get out. They even have a good selection of clothing as well as grocery and house hold items...

I shop at this Family Dollar often. I spend roughly $100-200 a week here. I went in today, spent some time Christmas shopping, and went to check out. My bill was $94. All I had were hundreds. As it turns out, they are not accepting one hundred dollar bills because of the possibility of counterfeit hundreds.What?Call me crazy, but if I were the owner, manager, or employee of a business, I would want a way to determine whether a bill is fake at the point of sale rather than turn away repeat business. It’s Christmastime, too. I had to leave without the items I’d shopped for, and it is the last time I will spend my money in a Family Dollar.

Great service. The associates seem nice and helpful. Sometimes there are not enough associates to help everyone when things get busy. This is one of the better stores in the area.

This one nice and my favorite but always have one cashier at the register when it's a long line.waited in line 15 to 20 mins .and I had to go to work for a cashier to act like she didn't know what she was doing.And a lady at register had most all the Christmas ornaments in store in her buggy.
