I love the Dollar General in Holder. They always have some cute decor and the staff is friendly. Unlike other DG stores I've been in, they keep it neat, clean, and well stocked. Since I live less than a mile from this store I go in often to pick up odds and ends and I have never had to step over boxes in the aisles or had to turn my cart around because an aisles was blocked with new stock. If you're a frequent DG shopper you know what I mean.

EVERY single time I go to this location, when the 2 liter Coke products are 2 for $2.50, they charge me $3.00! EVERY SINGLE TIME! The last time it happened, the lady kept trying to get someone else to verify the price and FINALLY after about 5 minutes of wasting my time and hers, she said, I can fix it. Well, I went today and the same thing. I got over charged AGAIN! I NEVER have this problem on 28 by pass, just at the location behind Red Lobster . Management needs to get this straightened out. I may go take them back. Maybe the computers need to be updated. I don't know, but it is NOT RIGHT to have it on sale and charge full price.

Overall I have noticed that Dollar General stores in North Carolina are better managed and organized than most I have visited in South Carolina. I frequently visit many stores with my job and have been quite impressed with what I have encountered.

This is one of the nicer, better stocked stores in the chain.. the employees are friendly and helpful and the prices are still really good. I drive across town just to go to this one in particular. Great job Dollar General !

I stopped going to the dollar general here in Townville. They have really gone down hill. The employees are rude and they don't have any items on the shelves. I started going to the dollar general in Anderson. At least I don't get a attitude and they have bread and milk

Older store, so it has narrow aisles and is very crowded. Also, when something breaks down (such as the freezer for frozen dinners, etc ) it takes forever to get it fixed. Store often closes early (Or for the entire day) because they get short on staff.

Always double check your bags if dismissing a price tag do not consider attempting to buy the item they will reject sales and put the item behind the counter overseen this happen more than once

This location closes early almost every Saturday night. I don't know who decides to do that, but it seems like they are closed more often than they are open on Saturdays

3 stars because staff is friendly. Shelves were not well stocked last time I visited this location. A was a bit messy and isle were cluttered.
