I visited this location today. Checked out and then went back in to explain that the items I purchased was not discounted at the correct price. I asked to speak with the manager and the lady stated she was the on shift manager. When you work with the public you have to be able to handle when a customer is dissatisfied or satisfied. Clearly I upset the manager and when she re rung everything back up she still did not make sure I was charged the correct price for my cokes. She even acknowledge the cokes were not ringing up correctly The sales ad this week is 3 cokes for $13 dollars. I Was still charge 7.95 a piece for each coke. Being a manager means taking accountability when something goes right as well as when something is wrong. Your body language and facial expression definitely showed that she could not handle being questioned about the prices or discount. But, please remember without your customers you would not have a job and customer service should always be every managers number 1 concerned.Very disappointed ....

I hadn't been in in awhile due to transportation issues. However, I went in this week, found everything on my list, was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere ( no screaming babies or kids throwing temper tantrums like Walmart) store was clean, lady that works there is always friendly and makes me feel like a valued customer. She may be the manager, I am not sure, but she has been there awhile. She is always pleasant and friendly. was hard at work when I went in but took time to greet in a friendly manner.

If you're supposed to stay open until 10:00 then do so. I have come to this store several times before 10 and they are closed. Once it was 8:30. Tonight it was around 9:30. This is terrible. I could have gone somewhere else had I known they would not be open. All the other locations in this area stay open until 10. If you're going to close early so often then change your hours.

You can NEVER find the same thing in the store twice. They always are out of whatever you are looking for. Plus there are always boxes of stock sitting on the floor. Rolltainers are always on the floor. It's extremely too easy to trip and get hurt bc of this. Very disorganized! Poor management.

The store is always messy and most all of the staff is always talking about other staff members (and not in a nice way) in front of customers. Always out of my brand of cigarettes. The reason I really go is for the great prices on Pet milk.

This store looks 100% better than it did about 11 months ago. They had everything I went in there for. The shelves were full and organized. The best part of my shopping experience there tonight was the great customer service. I will be going back.

Nice store. Employees are friendly and sociable. The DG in Mountain Rest is affectionately known as the Mountain Rest Walmart. Hope no copyright or trademark infringement here, but if so please accept my apologies and will delete post upon proper notification.

Great deals but its definitely time to start cleaning these places up. Sometimes I leave and want to take a bath in hand sanitizers. Some are very spotless and the manager takes great pride In the store

I frequent this store for quick run in run out items. My last visit I was with my son and I put my items on the counter and the male cashier used profanity about my items. I’m not being a prude but it just seemed unprofessional from an employee to a customer. Use it on your own time but not when your dealing with customers and children present. What happens to etiquette and professionalism? My wife and daughter had visited the store earlier that day and this same cashier was on his phone and proceeded to carry on a personal conversation on speaker phone while checking them out. I get it, good help can be hard to find but this guy needs a job stocking or working in the back. He doesn’t need to be the face of the store when you walk in the door.

Sorry service. I arrived at the store at 9:50pm and the door was already locked. The store hours are from 8:30am until 10pm... Not 8:30am until 9:50pm... Need new management

Found lots of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas items for use and decorations. I had been to several stores and couldn't find anything like this selection. The employees there are nice and helpful.

Wish they had more stuff and groceries. Live 30min from town need a bigger store out here. They would make a killing people from townville and Fair Play both were right on the lake company needs their are a lot of people here and traveling through and staying for the summer and fall.

Love this store. However, they need more than one cashier during their busiest time. I stopped by this afternoon and there was a long line of customers waiting to pay while there was only one cashier.

Only go to this store because i live in country and its the only place to shop without driving an hour. I actually spend more going to this store than i would at grocery store. Any household or medicine items i can also get for same price at different store. I do not save money here

Very dirty store and disorganized. In spite of the name Dollar General most of the prices are well over a dollar. Don't be fooled take lots of money in there if you're planning on buying something.

I visited the store located at 1455 Highway 28 in Anderson SC. I arrived at 9:53. The store hours say it closes at 10pm. The doors were already locked. I called the store and someone answered and said they were closed already. That was very frustrating Closing! Closing before the store hours ended is terrible customer service and bad for business.

This DG has a problem. You go in there, things will be on sale, get to register and they try to charge full price. It's not as nice a store as it was when first opened. It's really gone down hill and staff. Don't recommend this DG.

The DG in OAKWAY S. C. IS THE CLEANEST IVE SEEN IT SINCE IT WAS BUILT! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THEY LET PEOPLE LINE UP ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK WITH ONLY INE PERSON CHECKING PEOPLE OUT! AND cigarettes are alot higher than in a convient store! They never have milk r sugar!

Very friendly and helpful, there is parking but once you wieght the magnetic crane picks your stuff up, re weight and get paid. Awsome staff
