I went in to purchase an item that I verified online was in stock at this exact store. When I arrived, I couldn’t find it. I asked for help and the lady who helped me had to call someone else on a radio who said they were out of stock. When I asked why online it says in stock, they had no answer.When I went to my car, I checked online again and it was in stock. So, I placed a pickup order and within 2 hours I had the exact item they told me was out of stock.I know when I asked for help that 2-3 employees were outside taking a break, so I guess they didn’t want to be bothered. Instead, I had to come back 2 hours later for them to do their job.EDIT:A week later, GM called me personally to apologize and assure that I had been able to find the item…really spoke volumes to me and I upgraded the stars for this

I usually don’t leave one star but today I was in Big Lots and a lady was price checking a bunch of marked down Christmas junk and had the line backed up. Long story short after 15 mins the cashier needs a price check. Up walks manager? He has a long beard and likes to smoke out front apparently because instead of helping guest, he and another team member ignores the line and walks 20 feet to the entrance and fires up a cigarette 😳. The lady in front of me then makes me seem like the jerk by yelling at me as I walk out saying she would pay for my things?! Come on, DO BETTER ZZ TOP AND HELP YOUR GUEST.

Went to purchase some command strips. The tag says four dollars but they rang up five dollars. Went to the back took a picture of three pegs hanging there full of the same command strips that said four dollars and he refused to change the price. I know that it’s only a dollar but the simple fact of it is that they said four dollars and they were not willing to change the price when they are the ones who made the mistake. It’s not like I was trying to buy them out because they said four dollars I simply wanted one package of the command strips.

I love this store! I went there with a friend just to look around. They had a sale 90% off. I got a cute sea shell soap dispenser for 97¢. That's a good deal!!

They've went up way too much for big lots IMO. You can find a few deals here & there but you have to take your time & shop.

So doing a long extensive test of a few couches. One is a Lane all seem built well. Mattresses are serta and there is a pillow top here. No one bugged me as i examined the furniture. When i walked towards a staff member i was greeted and offered help! Nice job!

Staff is always helpful and friendly. Purchased a couch. Chris in the Furniture section was helpful and friendly. The team held the couch is store for me for over a week. They helped me get it to the truck. Chris and Morgan helped get it to and into the truck. Friendly staff and great deals on quality merchandise.

Great customer service and very friendly staff, cashier was very professional and polite. Store was fully stocked and alot of great cheap deals. Affordable prices and quality is excellent! I really enjoy shopping here. Great location and was thankful they moved their store out of Lakeside shopping center. You don't have to worry about getting robbed or followed out to a dark parking lot.

1st time at the new store. I was very impressed with how well it's laid out and how big it is. It was very clean and pretty well stocked even though they didn't have what I actually went for (a clip on fan) but it's seasonal so they've already changed over to fall/Christmas.

I have disabilities so I called to see if they had the recliner I wanted. Guy put me on hold for almost 10 minutes while he"looked". Never came back but another guy picked up, pretended to get my info, back on hold for another 10 minutes. Thought, maybe they are busy; went in 5 minutes later, they were all clustered at the register leaning. Meanwhile my cell call was still on hold. My item was not there, I tried to find something I could use but couldn't. They desperately need decent employees.

Big lots has great prices. Went here a few days ago and looked at a couch. The employee let us know that this weekend would be 20% off. So we went back today to buy our couch. To our surprise they dropped the price down $80, then we got the 20% off of it as well. We left spending over $100 less than what the price of the couch was. Everyone was kind and helpful. Going to a store that has good deals is awesome. But the staff can often times be a make or break for a store. This store has good employees.

They've come a long way since the very first one I remember opening in Belton. Back then they only had close out items, items from what looked like over turned trucks, and random stuff you've never seen before..all at great prices and very interesting to just go look around. Now they've got beautiful furniture, interior and outside decor according to the seasons, They've got pretty much any household item you need or want and tons of other great stuff too. Clean, friendly and really good prices. Quality stuff ! Great job y'all. I love shopping at Big Lots !

I had not been in a Big Lots in years until I went to this one the other day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how organized it was. They have a great variety of really nice things. They have a good selection furniture and home decor items.

The staff was real nice and funny too! I enjoyed my shopping experence, they had many Christmas items, They were so beautiful, some were on sale 50 percent off, I want to go back after Christmas and get some items for next year. I found everything I was looking for as well as other items. My shopping experience was very pleasant, the store was not too full doing lunch time. I think I like to shop there more than Ross a couple of doors down. Try them, They have many housewares!

This store is immaculately clean, well stocked, and has super friendly staff. Enjoyed looking at the furniture and home goods items. Definitely one of the better locations.
