I'm not sure why I see so many negative reviews but don't believe everything you read. We have been all over Aiken and Augusta today selling gold. This guy offered the highest bid in Aiken and he matched the guy in Augusta. Very friendly and listens during conversations. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will be back.Thank you for great service and saving me a trip back to Augusta.

The owner is very understanding and willing to work with you on a fair price for pawn or buying items. Store is very clean and inviting. When it comes to the other pawn stores in Aiken, I’d drop them and come to Whiskey Trader every time!

Normally I post good reviews, but bc of my experience here was terrible. I had to inform the public. Upon entry everything looked dusty and dirty. I guest the owners only want gold? Meaning at this day and age PAWN STORES ARE GOING AWAY SOON and are dying out bc everyone sells online. And that's clearly what they want YOU to do is sell online and not bother them. They didn't even look at what I had to offer (which was like new stuff), made no eye contact and had a bad attitude. I recommend they work on their customer service skills and post a sign that says WE ONLY BUY GOLD. I don't recommend wasting your time at this place. Go somewhere else. Greenwood pawn store is better.

Horrible customer service and attitude. I had two items that wasn’t open and had them both for 1-2 years and he ask me how much I paid for my 4tb hard drive and I told him what I paid and he didn’t believe at all cause he was looking at the price they are not then back when I got it and tried to offer me $40 for both item that equal together over $200 l. My advice is not to do business with them

Customer service was terrible lady cursed me out an continue to call me a kid an told me to leave after I picked up my 14k bracelet an 10k Ring with half carat diamond 💍 she was upset after I allowed her to look at my Glock gen 5 special edition with engraved design on it from Glock she wanted to low ball me for the price on it an wasn’t even looking up the right pistol an was mad when she looked it up an seen what I really had so disrespectful I will never bring my business there anymore.

I have nothing but great things to say about the whiskey trader I went in there needing help and the people there went out of there way to help me I appreciate it and if y’all get a chance go on by and check out the whiskey trader got a pretty good collection of things there prices fair and if you need to pawn something the interest rates not bad at all will definitely be going back

Does not buy laptops.Tried to offer a extremely lowball price on two guns (Glock 23 and Glock 43) by quoting a completely different gun (a Taurus G3C, which is worth at most HALF that of each of the glocks).If you’re in the business of buying things like guns regularly, please make sure your employees actually have basic product knowledge.Edit: $300 is not retail. It is well under-valued for guns that sell retail at $500+. But go off.And sure she did apologize, but only because I called her out on it. Otherwise she would’ve easily tried to quote me using that. I shouldn’t have to call you out to stop you from trying to undercut me.You got 2.9 stars and over half of your reviews are 1 stars. Maybe you’re the problem.

I've dealt with multiple people at this establishment and have nothing but great service and pleasant experiences. Saw another comment about others giving bad reviews. My advice is if you want respect try giving some. Two thumbs way up!

Would be great if someone knew how to get up and unlock a door. Sat outside of this place for 30 to 45 minutes because the sign said will be right back. Someone else was waiting and it took so long we just left.

One star bc none isn’t an option but people need to know this place hasn’t improved at all. My husband brought in two items to pawn and not only did the man try to completely rip him off and lie about the condition, he was also extremely rude and abrasive. When my husband decided to leave he told him he’d better just keep his things because there was nowhere else in Aiken to pawn. Well, lo and behold my husband drives to Richland Ave and the gentleman at the jewelers loupe was able to help him out. Not only did he compliment the condition, he offered almost twice as much as my husband was offered at the whiskey trader. 0 out of 5 will never go back.

To be honest, this company has terrible customer service. Do not sell or pawn here if you aren't desperate for a dollar! This is one of many shops that rely on lowest bid from online services like ebay. If you have a genuine new item you would like to trade, do your homework first. Associates are unreasonable, will offer lesser cash shown of the (damaged version) product you may have, and will not hesitate to quickly deny business. You may profit better from a friend or from a shop in a more competitive area.

Do not do business with these people. For one the service here is the worst I've ever had. Not only did they offer no where near what my mechdise was they also charge uou 11$ for useing a card to pay them back. No wonder they dont have any costumers and about to shut there doors for good the store is in such bad shape and looks like the county dump. I went I to try to sell a vintage camera I found but ended up selling a old coin I found the couple at the counter were very nice and polite I got more than I was originally looking to get for my coin and even though I know it's worth more than what they gave me I know that's how they make their money and I hope they enjoy the profit they get from it.

I was in a jam and desperately needed cash, so I pawned something very valuable to me. Then, long story short, I quite unexpectedly had a heart attack! Tyler went above and beyond to work with me so I didn't lose my valuable item. What a blessing! I hope I don't have anymore financial emergencies, but if I do, I know to go to Tyler at The Whiskey Trader!

We bought a gun and they told us it was inspected by a gun Smith and when took it apart to clean it had a crack in the frame so we took it back and got cussed out by the owner for discovering the crack! Worst customer service.
