As most "thrift" stores have done these days, the prices have gotten outrageous. A pair of *antique* chairs for $1,295. A dining set with 8 chairs for nearly $3,000. A simple side table for $60. These prices are absolutely wild for a place that lives off donations. So any amount you get is good for the charity but yet you have antique/vintage shop prices...while being a charity thrift store. Absolutely bonkers.

My husband and I have spent many dollars at this store, partly because we like thrift stores and partly because it supports SPCA. It would be nice if a certain staff member had better customer service skills. Yes, I get it, you’re ready to go home, I work too but would be fired if I treated my customers the same. “We have signs posted everywhere “ In other words, don’t ask me any questions!!!! I should have walked out but I found another staff member that was much nicer and even if I did ask questions, she was pleasant and made my shopping experience 5 stars!

I can always find something here. They have a large and great section of clothing. Some prices are high but they occasionally have sales or discounts on certain items or tags. I always use my phone number at checkout for rewards points and then get $ off every few times

I always love browsing the SPCA thrift shop. They have great stuff and great prices! It's the only place I'll donate my stuff to because the animals need more help than anything or anyone since they can't help themselves.

Great place. Good prices and food is amazing. Wide selection of beers. Service is top notch. Set outside and enjoyed nice weather on memorial weekend.

Great place great cause! Won’t let your potty training toddler use the bathroom that I’m not sure wether they have one or not but they are very adamant about no public or guest or toddler restroom usage. Lots of nice furniture. And funky clothes.

There are some nice items, but I don’t think these are really thrift store prices. I understand that all the money goes to helping the animals, but all the items are secondhand and the prices should reflect that…

Second time I had this same poor, indifferent service at checkout with the same two ladies. Yesterday I had one item to check out and had a dollar exact cash in-hand obvious for them to see. I was next after a customer with numerous pieces to check and both checkout gals were taking their sweet time dealing with this one customer while I waited patiently with my cash in hand. Once the kibitzing and fooling around between them and with this customer was almost done, and a long line had formed behind me, one of the two checkout attendants looked past me and called out for anybody with a card to come up to be served. I'm there ready to hand over CASH money and waiting patiently while these TWO futz around with one customer, then ignore me in favor of anybody behind me who has a CC. At that point I told one lady I was leaving my item for them to return to stock and I was leaving due to their inefficiency. No loud talk or cussing, just a firm rebuke. So, it seems that two people can't do any better with taking customers' money than one, and both these women have no sense of what customer service means. At least ONE of them should have recognized this situation for what it was, and asked if she could take my money so I could get on with my day. These two not only wasted MY time, but their slow service held up a bunch of others waiting to give up THEIR money. Time for retraining, or letting them go. My dog could do a better job.

This place has all the things going for it that good thrift stores should have. They have a wide variety of items. Their items appear to be a cut above other thrift stores quality wise. This goes to the donators, I imagine. Everyone there are volunteering. That may account for their friendly and helpful attitudes.So, better donations means higher quality items. Volunteer staff means a more pleasant experience. And it all goes to help our animals.I frequent this place and so should you.

This is my new favorite thrift spot! It is well organized and the staff is very patient and courteous. They have a perk program too which is nice and I am very familiar with the SPCA and the wonderful work they do for local animals in need. Check it out!

Prices are way up there for second hand items old bbq grill used a small one for 25 I know some of proceeds go to help animals but no excuse on putting a 25 dollar price tag on something worth 10 tops

I was shopping there and saw some joggers it had spots on the pants, but I wanted them. So when I went to purchase them I asked for a discount ,she said No they were made that way. So I asked for manager, she called he said he was busy. So she asked another person in charge. She the price will still be 4, I offered 2 she said No , since they was damaged. So she trashed them right in front of me!!! I said you rather trash them then to sell them to me for 2 dollars. I had other items I was getting ready to pay for, but I said you know that is alright I don't want to shop here Anymore. The lady behind me said you all was wrong for treating her like that. One employee didn't like it either.but she is trying to keep her job.

Normally a really good experience but the older lady from the back with short grey hair was not kind. I was just asking a simple question about a bag I was looking to purchase and she then said she couldn’t sell it and gave me a nasty look. She insinuated as if I stole a Piece from the store 🙄. Very rude.

Lovely place. I wouldn't say the staff is overly friendly but they weren't oppressively hanging over me as I shopped and seemed relatively neutral. Outside of that I didn't think they were rude as others have said... that said the selection here is pretty good and there are some good deals. There are lots of chinaware cups and plates, glassware, and old 60s and 70s era kitchen containers, vases, pet supplies, cloths, and some furniture... Keep up the good work SPCA I'll be back. Give the cats Shoals and Toccoa much love please.

My wife got two dress sweater tops & I found a furniture trunk all at very reasonable prices. The one sweater top was on a mannequin which the worker removed for her! All had good attitudes.

Recently I purchased a large expensive piece of furniture and after measuring discovered the item would not fit through my doorway. The item had not yet been moved from the store. I spoke with the manager who was extremely rude and said their policy was “no refunds” and absolutely refused to work with me about in-store credit or refund. I could understand no refund but no in-store credit? His uncaring comments were “Well, that’s too bad” and said I could donate the item back to the store, that’s what other buyers have done in this situation. It’s not a toaster or article of clothing it’s a large expensive piece of furniture. He said they would lose money by giving a refund or In-store credit. “What???” 100% of their inventory is donated! What does that tell you patrons about this establishment. Their customer service is the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered. Think twice before buying something large & expensive. If I could rate them a negative star I would have.

A very strange store. Its not like any thrift store I've ever been in before. Things are priced like they're brand new. It's a very nicely maintained store but the pricing this makes no sense at all. Some stuff is thrift store prices at just a couple dollars and other stuff is more than the cost that it was originally. Pretty much anything with the name brand is put up to regular resale pricing. I probably won't come back.

Great selection of donations and for a great cause. Fun place to browse and visit regularly. Since their move to the bigger location, prices have been a bit high on many items. This is more of an “antique shop” or “Consignment shop” prices rather than thrift store prices. A lot of items such as furniture, you pay close to retail price.

I had heard some great things about this Thrift Store & it was good. My 1st visit...I've moved from the Beaufort/Bluffton area so used to great Thrift stores. I'm a hard size to fit so I usually don't look at clothes but they had other things of interest too.

Staff is helpful and friendly. They have a lot of beautiful things and a wide variety of items. All priced to go and it's for a good cause. Please patronize the thrift store so homeless, abandoned and abused animals can be taken care of. Then they can be adopted into loving homes.

It’s like you going to a mall not to thrift store, prices of used jackets and suits ect is for hundreds not Bucks $ I wouldn’t recommend you to shop there if you’re in need, goodwill or salvation is the place for us in need
