Susy is an amazing pet trainer. Our rescue dog was so scared but he is a different dog today thanks to Susy. She is so knowledgeable and cares about each dog in her class. Highly recommend Susy at Petsmart.

I love this Petsmart bc of the employees being so helpful. I always feel welcomed when walking in and they all have a genuine love for the fur babies and also babies that are furless. Lol if I can't find something I don't have to go look for someone to help me bc they always ask if I need help. The only thing I would really suggest to the owner/ management is possibly getting a small section for wild life rehabbers especially in this area. I rehab flying squirrels and gray squirrels etc..I know many many folks that would shop here if y'all carried small syringes with the nipples, squirrel feed, things designed to help with keeping the babies alive and well for future release. Also a list of available rehabbers for our area in case folks have a hard time finding someone to reach out to if they come across a baby in need. That little extra our businesses provide set you apart from others in such a drastic way. But thank you Pet smart for rocking at your jobs!!!!

I brought my 6 y/o Labradoodle, Lucas, in for a bath and haircut along with a teeth brushing. We arrived about 20 minutes early to get checked in. Our groomer, Destiny, was not on time for the appointment. We scheduled for 10:45a but was taken in finally around 11:20a. Lucas was perfectly fine and was happy wagging his tail and getting love from everyone. Destiny stated that it would be 4 hours to get Lucas completed. Around 3pm I received a call from Destiny stating that Lucas was not completed by the time promised due to Lucas barking at the other dogs. Destiny states that Lucas’ body hair was cut but his feet and face were not. Destiny then states that if he continues barking at the other dogs and getting the others scared that Lucas would not be able to be completed on today. Destiny states that she would give Lucas another 15 minute break before starting again. Another hour passes by and Destiny calls stating that Lucas would not be completed today because he’s all worked up. I was only 10 minutes away from the store. When I arrived, Destiny, Savannah and another older worker were standing there. Neither one of the three acknowledged my presence. After 10 minutes of waiting, Savannah finally asked who I was picking up. I stated Lucas. Destiny then turns around and states that she’s sorry but he was not cooperative today. Savannah brings Lucas out and Lucas looks horrible. His cut was so patchy. Savannah attempted to take the leash off of Lucas and Lucas was not having it. I have never seen Lucas act as he did on yesterday. He was very shaky and wanting out of the store. I WILL NEVER TAKE HIM BACK. I can’t say for certain but it’s almost if they did something to Lucas.

The staff was friendly, polite and attentive to customers. The store was clean and the items on the shelves were neat and in order. The pet cages were clean. The Guinea pigs and parakeets looked healthy. The fish tanks were clean and clear. If you haven't been there, give it a try.

I don't typically write reviews but this place really stood out. Fantastic small animal experience here (we were buying a hamster). Alex was extremely patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable in helping us pick the right animal and offering suggestions that weren't pushy or high pressure. Whereas with other stores we've been to in the past in the Evans/Augusta area had small animal stock that was either minimal or sickly. Cannot recommend highly enough, and our little dude is doing great and acting very very healthy.

Very friendly and helpful staff since the moment I walked in the door! I only take my dogs here for grooming!! Phenomenal job and excellent with my pups! Daya is the best groomer and my dog who normally is reserved and fearful literally loves her! The management is great always inquiring to ensure my satisfaction with service. Highly highly recommend!

Take my dog to be groomed today and 2 of the girls said she was fine, but then another girl came from the back and said she was to matted very rudely told us we would have to shave her down and that would another appointment NOT TODAY. Wow where is the customer service.

The very 1st time she visited PetSmart.Listen, I was in total awe over the phenomenal Staff; Stella was busy smelling the rows and rows of isles. Each staff member added their individual, attentive approach. Especially Regarding PetSmart company's Sales & Services/4-Sure. ($cont.$revnue)Stella Bella is my Therapy Dog and, Best Friend. I became blind over three years ago; she's been with me 3yrs. Now.I've told her stories of this big excellent pet store. Lol, explaining How freely she'd be able to roam around and about, where Birds, Kitties, & mice reside, and even maybe, A Fish.With each passing week, my stories grew greater in her little eyes. I'd speak of rows of clothes; she'd pick, alongside Treats; Stella could eat. I SPOKE of PetSmart toys, animals, and People too.On our big day out, Stella Bella got a new pair of Boots for the summer Priced$ low (of course).PetSmart Boots Provide the perfect protection; from all the heated sidewalks, walkways, and Rockie Walks Too.YES! THE!BEST!ONE YOUNG LADY SAT on the Cold, Hard floor and fitted four paws. Groomers I spoke were rude, specifically Destiny. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this grooming location. Our first visit groomer experience with puppy. I asked questions about various parts of the process (cut, cut styles, connecting groomer to PetSmart app for rewards). I received an annoyed tone when answering by both Destiny and Sandy. Customers should feel comfortable to ask whatever questions they have and employees should receive/answer questions professionally and with some degree of kindness, especially for ppl who are ‘first timers’ wanting to learn the process for the best experience for their pups. We will never return to this grooming department based on the bad attitude vibe.

Petsmart is such a happy place. Today is my boy Teddy's birthday. He's one year old. I get all of my toys here as they have a great range of prices from the lower end to higher. The store is clean, staff is friendly.Nothing else to say. Here's my dog. Look at his happiness. Be happy too. Or else :)

Brought my dog here to have a bath and a nail trim. They gave her the bath but wouldn't do the nail trim because she "tried to bite." My dog is 5 years old and has NEVER bit anyone. She's been to multiple PetSmart grooming locations and never had that issue. I honestly don't believe that she tried to bite, and if she did I'm curious what they could have done to get a non violent dog to react that way. I immediately drove down the road and took her to the North Augusta PetSmart where they cut her nails with zero problems and zero aggression. I watched them cut her nails in North Augusta and she licked them and wagged her tail the whole time. Do not recommend this place for grooming. They either lied about my dog being aggressive to avoid doing a service or they hurt her in some way.

This petsmart is awesome. Every Saturday, the Humane Society of McCormick County is there with a few of their pups for adoption. I was able to adopt Jack from them and pick up everything I needed from the store. The staff here is also top notch.

I Love, love, love PetSmart in Aiken.. no joke, every single person that works there is so sweet and helpful!! I've never been to a PetSmart (or any pet store, honestly) where the customers, and pets (especially the ones they have for sale) are treated So well. The employees, who work in "Pet Care", are Legitimately so kind and caring, whether you want to buy a new pet, or you are just looking for fun, they seem to always enjoy educating people, in a sweet, non-pushy way, and with no negative attitude, whatsoever. I never feel rushed, or like I'm not important, and that really means a lot in these days. :) I used to think that all "big box" pet stores treated the animals they sold, basically, like garbage.. I even used to ask people to please not buy pets from chain stores like this.. But, I must apologize because, I have officially been proven wrong! I can honestly say, these people love and take care of the animals they come into contact with each day, and it truly shows! The love and kindness, the employees of Aiken PetSmart show, is definitely Much greater than any of the other pet stores I've been to in Aiken. What's even better is, they are Smart! They Know their stuff for sure. And, anytime there's been a question, they have happily looked it up or called a co worker. Ok, I apologize if this sounds like a love letter to PetSmart! LOL. We've just had such great experiences the last few times we've gone, and it's so rare to leave a store after spending a lot of money, and still feel so good about yourself and have a smile on your face. Shopping can often and quickly turn into something that can put a damper on your whole day! So, I'm just extremely grateful for, those very few times that, a shopping experience actually Adds Positivity to my day!!

We frequently visit this store and our 🐶 loves the store. The people are nice and always offer him snacks. They also offer lots of services and typically have lots in stock. They also know when things are recalled fairly quickly. I wouldn’t blame you for liking this nearly off the photo 😘

Hello I visited the Aiken South Carolina on Whiskey rd today my appointment was for 2:45 she called me and asked if I could come in earlier at 12:30pm because she has another dog to do at 2:45 as well so I said fine my dog was there from 12:30pm until about 5:30pm no one called me I had to call them to see what was going on…the stylist then goes to tell me oh I couldn’t finish her and started making excuses and for me to bring her back Tuesday before 12pm unacceptable then proceeded to hand me a bill for $101.00 when initially should’ve only been $76 so she added on extra stuff I never told her to shave my dog the way she did my dog was still wet it was a nightmare and I’ll never visit that location ever again HORRIBLE SERVICE

I could tell that I interrupted something by her attitude........Now I'm stuck with the weakest fish from the tank. (Easiest fish to catch.Not a happy customer!!!!I should have gotten my receipt they already look weak.

Pet smart was very thorough in cleaning and grooming my fur baby. She is a border collie/chow mix and absolutely ABHORES getting her rear hunches brushed. Because her coat is so thick, and I'm unable to properly care for her, she had developed a few mats and was suffering in the heat. They did an excellent job removing the matted hair and giving her a close shave in order for a fresh new coat to come through so she can get some relief. They cleaned her ears, clipped her toenails, and gave me a report on how well she behaved and what I needed to follow up on in order to get her in better health. She looks so much better with her freshly trimmed fur and feet. I feel sure she will be happier throughout the rest of this hot and muggy summer (even if she does wear a fur coat every day 😄)!

Nice pet store. They have lots of things for dogs, cats, small animals, and fish. Great prices and sales, and the Halloween costume I got my pup is amazing! The staff all seem like animal lovers and are as helpful as can be.

We love Petsmart! We buy most of our pet food here (1 dog, 2 cats and a turtle) and treats. Our dog went through beginning and intermediate training with Debrea and she's amazing!! Dixon smiles and struggles to go see her if she's there or he hears her voice!Very engaging staff, they support good causes for animals and they have everything!Update: as of 2021, we don't go to Petsmart as much. The staff seems less than happy, the store isn't kept as clean and we find they aren't carrying some of the staples we use for our animals.It's very disappointing. It used to be our favorite pet supply store. Now we mostly shop either online or at the other pet supply store in town.Update 03/2024: they're getting a little better again.

Used work here, they do their best to keep what we need in stock. Have to keep in mind what they have to do, that we as customers don't. There are a handful of employees that haven't changed, they keep the store going. miss those guys, keep it up guys! 💪

Said no longer going to groom him bc of health issue he has had since before coming here. Had it on file so decided they weren't going to do.
