Their cheese and antipasto is excellent. The checkout aisles are consistently understaffed and backed up and the butcher's selection leaves a lot to be desired. Today after buying a full cart of groceries their loss prevention remotely locked my cart upon exit without so much as a word of warning. After ascertaining that I was a paying customer and not a shoplifter she meerly said "you can go now" and offered no apology.

10:30 on a Saturday night and only self check out. I like to shop after work and had a whole cart, I refuse to go through self checkout with that many items. And the self checkout cashier was completely rude!!

Worst experience with meat department. The employee Stephen treats customers with extreme disrespect. I have observed him to have a rude and vulgar attitude every time i see him. I have previously complained to a store manager along with another customer. Since then I have observed him continuing to treat customers poorly. Today I observed him again with an attitude towards two other customers. There was another employee whom asked me if I needed anything. I asked if they had a whole chuck roll for sale. The employee I spoke with did not know what I was talking about. Not that that's a problem I think he was pretty new. Since I have seen Stephen at the store for some time now I looked at him and asked if they had chuck rolls. Thinking he would know. His respons was "what did he tell you." I am not a child. I spend a lot of my hard earned money at this store. I can easily drive 5 min away to Publix. I whole heartedly believe he is driving away loyal customers.

I’m giving this store 5 stars because of the floral dept. Their Valentines Display is absolutely amazing and this is how it is any other season or holiday. This is the place to go for your one stop Valentines gifts.

Did a pickup order for 6-7 . Got a text at 6 saying order was pushed to 7-8 pm due to them being behind . Get to store to pickup order by 6:30 , nobody else is waiting for orders , so why is mine pushed another hour. Oh and i been waiting over 30 minutes . Not sure if i will use there service again.

I was turned away because the girl at money services didn't know how to compete the bill pay, which I usually do there every month. Surely there was someone else in the store who could have helped me. Very frustrating and disappointing. People need thorough training or specific services shouldn't be advertised.

I ordered cupcakes for a birthday at the Kroger Aiken bakery. I went to pick them up a few days later and the bakery did not make them. They put the order ticket on the wrong date and never made them. The order form had the correct date and time that I was supposed to pick up. Kroger Bakery failed to make the cupcakes. The bakery manager basically told me it was my fault for not calling back to confirm they had my order. They were rude and would not accept any accountability.

This Kroger has gone down hill for the past two years. Why put in so many new self checkout an hardly any of them work. No repairs to them day after day. I was one of several people today to just leave my cart of groceries and walk out.

The Store is just too small and old. Almost always clutters of merchandise, trash paper, and dirty floors. Aisles are narrow and shoppers have to constantly move their cart and body from making contact with other shoppers and Kroger employees trying to stock shelves. Twice this week there were big backups at the check out registers and self-serve scan registers. Waiting 10 minutes or so is not good and people in line were blocking other shoppers. Workers are nice and deserve a better work environment. A new store would benefit all shoppers and employees. Get with it Kroger management !!

Large chain grocery store with a home town feel. One of your larger Kroger stores but the staff works hard keeping the store clean, maintained, and stocked. A manager was outside running a blower across the entrance as I was going in, lol 😂. I went inside to grab some pens and was able to take a nice wall through looking for them. Multiple employees asked if they could help and on the third personI gave in and they brought me right to them. Good selection and price was 👌.

Now living in Florida with no Kroger store, I seek out any Kroger anytime while on vacation. Except for the small parking spaces at the Aiken, SC, store, everything else was awesome!

If you're going to have people use self checkouts than have a employee standing there. I shouldn't have to walk up to customer service to have them call someone to the register (which they didn't!) I needed to purchase cough meds and had to wait. Now I know why publix is the better place to shop. Do better Kroger your turning into walmart..sloppy customer service!

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. This is my first and Last time I use the grocery pickup they took my money now saying my order not going to be ready until the next day. Been trying to call all day no one answered the phone but when they did put me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up. Still continued to call but no answer. I expect this out of walmart but not Kroger, very unhappy

Never enough registers open. Even self checkout lines are long and slow. The bathrooms are not ventilated properly, and the toilets are falling apart. This place used to be nice. Gone down hill.

For the most part the trip is nice. I have never seen anyone cut meat or cheese so slow in my life. I walked away to get some of my items and came back, still moving like molasses. I even went to the restroom, still moving like molasses. Just run the machine. Slice that stiff.

Employees closing doors 10:45pm stating that they were visited by "Corporate" whom were watching "their hours"! They had to "clock out and gone by 11:05pm". Really was not customer service friendly.

This store is getting worse each week. There’s never enough staff to check out or to restock food. There seems to be a complete lack of concern for customer service by management. The staff are trying to do the best they can. Wake up! This is how you lose good employees and customers!

Today will mark the last time I enter the Kroger in Aiken. I had already switched to mostly Publix and sometimes Food Lion 98%. I could say alot about the employees, conditions of the store itself, absolutely zero whole milk except for the expensive organic. But truth is Management has likely failed this store.

Ordering groceries online started as a terrific concept. Having lived in Europe for many years grocery delivery has been a thing for nearly 20 years...so I thought HOORAY, I can order online, pick- up ... & how easy this will be... LOL ... OH HOW WRONG I WAS/AM. It's a constant call in to customer service for refunds due to missing items, rotten items, damaged items, etc...& most people with customer service need to look up the definition because their tone lacks in all aspects. I went through the check out during the holidays for fear of grocery items coming up missing or calculated wrong...LOL... I wound up having to bag my own groceries even after commenting about the baggers on other lanes with no customers doing nothing but talking to one another...& then to top things off, I was over charged by nearly $100 .....things got corrected after nearly an hour on the phone, but it shouldn't have been that way to start.I think today was the last straw. Missing 6 items, overcharged for several items, 3 things were spoiled... I just don't get it.Oh & if you use a digital coupon, like I typically do, & then the item winds up missing....well..it is what it is...is basically what I was told. I hope that they figure out how to fix that.I'm still shaking my head
