This is the Dollar general closest to my home, I have been shopping here for about 4 years now. They recently closed to do a remodel and just opened back up, the store looks semi better however they got rid of the self checkout which was stupid specially considering it still looks like the self check out registers. I walked up and started operating it like it was “self checkout” for a rude lady to call me out .. then another to treat me like I’m stupid oh and let’s not forget questioned me if I scanned everything. First of all I work hard for my money so don’t try me like that, you have cameras play them back if you need too. Secondly, whoever the new people they hired during the remodel need to be fired.. attitudes and severely not helpful. 10/10 recommend they need more training and if that still doesn’t work then they do not belong in the customer service field. ☺️

Dollar General is a lot like the old 5 & 10 stores. (That's Five & Dime) Those stores had everything from dishes to clocks to clothes to bed linens and everything in between. So it goes with Dollar General. Toys, greeting cards, sodas, snacks of every description, kitchen utensils, pet foods.....oh! What the heck.....they've got it all at better prices than you will find anywhere!! 😃

I love couponing at Dollar General on Saturdays and especially this past one with the clearance sale, I saved a lot of money. I'm usually there about 2 hours just scanning items with the app. So yeah, my husband would appreciate if you would fix the bathroom at the Pine Log Rd location as it has been out of order for a month at least. I think the Redds Branch location is the most coupon friendly, to me.

This store has had a manager change and it has gone down. The aisles are always crowded with stock that isn't put up. Have to move boxes and manuever around carts to get down aisles. On the plus side, the employees are friendly and helpful.

Employees were very friendly. Very impressed with this particular stores willingness to allow customers to make their own decisions in regards to wearing the mask of compliance and forced isolation.

Great store but a little expensive for a supposedly Dollar Store. Thier Customer Care is good. Always treated kindly when shopping here!

Horrible customer service! I had to use the bathroom really bad and I asked the cashier for the bathroom she thought it was funny and responded with "you want me to tell you no". I told her "nevermind and left". I took my business elsewhere. If you can't simply tell me where the bathroom is you don't deserve my money either. Ignorance is at an all time high at this store.

Drink coolers were close to room temperature. Consequently the "cold" drinks were not cold and we're barely even cool. None of their check-out register systems were functioning to allow payment by debit cards, only cash payment process worked.DG has issues that need to be resolved.

When I pulled up to the store there were two female employees smoking cigarettes with some guy being loud and obnoxious, the guy had all his windows of his vehicle down playing loud music. I went inside and they continued to talk loudly and ignored me. When I was checking out the guy who was in a red shirt and shorts went behind the counter and started messing with the cigarettes like he worked there and the girls didn't say anything. 1 girl came to ring up the items I was buying and she did not acknowledge me, the only thing she said to me was the amount I needed to pay. Overall it was a terrible experience I'll never shop there again.

Not very many kids toys to choose from, plus there was stuff every where all out of place..lots of items that were supposed to be hanging were just thrown on tops of shelves etc..On another note, they had more African American hair supplies than most dollar general's that I have visited, so that was a plus..Staff were friendly but restroom was disgusting..

Great for quick short shopping trips! We get a lot of our staple supplies here because they're really reasonably priced. And conveniently located.

OMG Kaci is freaking phenomenal! She has to literally know where everything no matter how small is at in her DG. Always knows exactly where everything I ever need is at! Thank you DG for having such a great employee! You need more just like her!😊

It's a good place to get your quick things that you need. Maybe a loaf of bread are some soap even some clothes you can find just about anything here at a good price.

I really enjoy Dollar General we have the digital coupons sometimes on the same sales that they have in and out shop fast good prices reasonable prices and I really enjoy it and I'm glad we have it

Typical Dollar General. Overstocked and unorganized. Waiting in line is common. But you can't beat the ability to find one when not close to town. And they do carry a little of everything.
