This place is the absolute best!!! I ordered a saddle from them and had them convert it to wool flocking and add some D rings before sending it, they did a wonderful job at both and for a very reasonable price. The saddle came and was just as beautiful as in the pictures! Next I ordered a hunt coat, the size posted online was bigger than the tagged size and the coat was too small. I emailed them and pointed out the discrepancy and they got back to me right away, sent me a label to send it back, and refunded me. These people are awesome and very very trustworthy, they are my go to when I need any equine and riding gear!

Purchased a saddle on trial and unfortunately had to return it, but the process and communication from Aiken was great. The saddle was gorgeous, in great shape and exactly as advertised, it just didn't fit us as we had hoped. Their return policy was clearly on the website and went through relatively quickly. I was scared of buying a saddle online for the first time and they made it very easy. I plan to keep lurking the stock.

I had a great experience today, with Patty, the saddle fitter from Aiken Tack Exchange. While comparing my two saddles, Patty explained the importance of having a saddle that fits correctly to my horse. The knowledge and experience was overwhelming, and very informative. I can't say enough good things about Aiken Tack Exchange and the owner and staff.We travel down to Aiken every February for about 2 weeks and always are sure to stop in. This year, we needed a new saddle for my daughter - and they had such a wide selection of consignment saddles to choose from and try out.Additionally, we needed to have some a shipment of supplements sent in and due to our stabling location and worried about delivery, asked the owner if by chance we could use their address for the shipment.Not only did Arielle say "Of course!" but when there was concern about delivery happening after hours, she agreed to have it shipped to her house.She understood the importance and was willing to help us out.Don't ever pass up a trip to Aiken Tack Exchange when you are in the area or need to offload any tack!Thank you!!!

I could not possibly recommend Aiken Tack Exchange more! I have a very difficult to fit horse and I apparently am difficult to fit as well. Arielle has mailed me so many saddles to try I couldn’t even count. Not only does she mail me the saddles, but she takes the time and sends me what she thinks might fit my horse and me. Arielle is so responsive and their customer service couldn’t possibly be any better!! I will certainly only be buying saddles from them!! 5 stars is not enough!

Excellent selection and knowledgeable staff. Inventory changes, so good to check often or use the website to check for what you’re looking for. They clean and condition consignment saddles often and treat them with great care both in the store and properly wrap them if shipping is required. I would use them with confidence to buy or sell your tack.

The communications were answered in a timely manner and I received my saddle within a week from purchase date. My saddle was in excellent condition as described on the website description. Been going to Aiken Tack Exchange for years. A cornerstone of the Aiken Equine Community Aiken Tack Exchange has never disappointed. Their friendly staff and knowledgeable customer service base makes shopping there a very pleasant experience. I have bought numerous items from the store and never have been upset with the quality of the items that I have purchased. I am quite impressed with the quality of the items for sale at Aiken Tack Exchange as it is a consignment store, especially with their saddles which always look clean and polished. I have never felt that I am buying something secondhand. I would highly recommend Aiken Tack Exchange between the quality of service including staff members going out of their way to help customers, to their wealth of knowledge with all Equine and non equine products, and the quality of their items. One of my favorite places in Aiken! I regularly raid the used book section and am often sending clients and friends in to try saddles or sell saddles, bridles and any of their extra tack. Really friendly staff and always fun to browse the extensive selection of equipment! I always check their first, before buying anything new! This is the best store to find a used saddle. I have found two "unicorn" saddles in the same number of years. The inventory constantly changes, so if you are looking for something hard to find, keep checking their site. Very fair trial policies and you can buy with confidence knowing that the saddle has been inspected by an expert. I, personally, would never buy from a private sale - too many risk factors on a high price item. They also have a really large selection of used tack - very few stores take used items anymore because it is a very difficult business to manage, but the tack exchange does it well, and it is a great service and a great way "recycle".

Wanted to love this shop as I buy used saddles from tack stores all the time. I sold a saddle to them and was accused of being deceiving about the product. they didn’t have any knowledge of the saddle specifications like the flex tree. Saddle had wear and tear, loose stitching, crack in the carbon fiber.. which was all cosmetic BECAUSE ITS USED. when you purchase a “used” saddle don’t expect it to not have any cosmetic flaws.. ITS USED. They also flipped their lid about their refund when there’s was nothing I could do to make it transfer any faster as I had an issue with PayPal. I explained that I would be away for a few days since I was getting married and my phone was blown up by the shop.. never in a million years will I suggest this place.I suggest Redwood Tack!!! They are much more reasonable and extremely easy to deal with - always a pleasure
