every time I am at the cash register, cashiers ask for phone number, personal info, and if I want to register to save money. Every time I ask them to check how much I would have saved, and never a penny comes up... but they keep asking... very aggressive marketing even when I show them that there is no saving.

So far, Ocean State Job Lot is the only place I have found these crunchy lentil chips. They were $2.50 a bag. You can find so many interesting things there.

This & other Job Lots often stop getting certain items shipped to their stores from the warehouse, in spite of customers asking for things, (Esp. Food Items). I don't think they bother relaying any information to them on our behalf, bc they don't feel like it matters. (Falls on Deaf Ears). I thought it was just during Covid, but it is way past the Pandemic now, so it must be more than that. Maybe they just can't get any. But they still have other items I will shop there for. However, I did ask for a number where I could request some items if they do have them in stock or can get them. It's either the Main Office or their Warehouse in RI. All I can do is try.

Be very careful of what is on the higher shelves. I'm now walking around in a boot for a month because heavy items(5tier shelf)were placed to high on a shelf above my head and it slipped out of my hands and landed on my foot!

Great store some good deals, great deals on makeup 💄 and bedding, you can get high thread count sheets there for less than department stores. I recommend job lot, and make sure you join the Insiders club where you can get online digital coupons on specific products to save more money.

Just left this job lot and the only reason I'm writing this review is because I was slightly taken aback when the cashier immediately turned to the pin pad (after getting my phone number for my card) and pushed the button for printed reciept only. She did it as she was saying, I'm just gonna click print reciept...Never asked me, never gave a reason, just forced me into a paper reciept. I get all my reciept emailed when possible - email only! Why are we wasting paper? Not happy about being treated like an invalid that doesn't know whether they want print or email... As a side note, if she said, we can't email right now, I would be fine, she gave no reason, I don't know if there was one, she just thought she would make the decision for me with no explanation.

Closing at 7:00 is too early. I used to shop there every day, now I don’t go at all. Not everyone works the same shifts... would be nice to be open until 9 a couple of days. I mean really..it’s not just this store..you can’t use the Covid excuse forever. I also wish they would open a register before 8 people get in line, not stand at the entrance talking & pretending not to notice. Disappointing

From R.I to Medford this store chain brings you to the place of unbeatable price deals of household goods and rare food items not found in regular stores.As for food,my attraction is canned herring from Germany,sardines from Morocco/only 1.00/,Red Salmon,some deserts from Europe.

Ocean State Job Lot is a niche discount store..similar to Ollie's and Big Lots. Some stores are bigger and have better selections. My favorite among the 3 close to me is just off Park ave. No freezer or cold food items, but has a fairly wide selection of brand name and off brand snacks, clothing, pool supplies, outdoor items and patio furniture. Reasonable prices on most things they stock.You will not find a wide variety of brands per product. Example..one brand of cat food..one brand of peanut butter..and so on.I go there mainly for batteries..their prices are tbe best for the good kinds..that is one thing they have a variety of.Good store, clean restrooms..well lit..wide aisles. No bad things to say about it.

I've been shopping at ocean State Job lot for years now. I like the addition of the crazy deals and the internet coupons. And overall they have a pretty decent selection of goods. I think really my only complaint that I have about them is that the olive oil selection is not as good as it used to be

This is the silliest store i know ,the head cashier was litterly chideing me for not standing on their check out line floor footprints. And dont even get me started on their dubious quality items i have to use a rewards card to get a fair price, at least walmart doesnt pretend to be something its not.

Always something new to find. They have some unique things you can't find other places certain times of the year. Example: finding beach and summer items when other stores are putting out their fall stuff.

They have great CRAZY DEALS! Ex:buy certain items get all or 1/2 your money back on a card for the store but, not the same item. Buy military boots for Veterans donate get a card.

Staff was great selection very good however sales signs indicate one price but at check out you are charged the non sale price. Keep close tabs of your merchandise costs at check out

Went to $1 Store next to Job Lot. 1 girl on register. About 18 people in line. Asked if she was gonna get help. Girl said counting her drawer in corner (really slow). Only cashier kept stopping and making excuses. I put my 12 items down and walked out. Since u texted me u get to hear my experience. Not going there for a long while. Not worth 1 star.

My experience was great. Cashier was pleasant and I received great and professional help from Kaitlyn she was new ...it turns out I've previously worked with her and she certainly is an asset to Job Lot.
