Gail with stand up for animals has helped us and our family out more then you know. She is a wonder person!! and beautiful inside and out! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping out with all she can. All the animals including mine. Meeting Deb Turrisi and Stand up for Animals was the best thing that happened to our family during these difficult times we are going through. I just had 2 back surgeries and I can’t work & my husband lost his job from Covid and hasn’t received anything from unemployment for months! We have 6 rescue cats and 2 dogs and I am so blessed to have been helped with pet food, toys, and resources I didn’t know even existed! I am overwhelmed by the love and caring we have received and I really appreciate all you’ve done for us and our pets. Saying thank you just doesn’t begin to say how thankful we all are! 😊💕🐾

The lady at the front desk was very unhappy and rude. Me and my boyfriend went here to spend some time with the animals and fill out volunteer applications. She was rude and in a hurry to dismiss us. The place was very smelly and cluttered. The kennels did not seem to be kept up as well as they should have. The beds for the dogs were old dirty broken and very uncomfortable looking. The woman at the desk made us very uncomfortable and made it seem like we were bothering her. Still never got any reply to our apps. She made our visit very unpleasant

Love the room they have for the older cats but not so welcoming in the dog area. Adoption is easy and not so time consuming. Needa a fresh layer of paint to spruce the kennel area up.

The girl we encountered "nakita" (or something close to that), was the rudest person I've encountered in years! Someone else wrote about a rude person, it HAD to be the same girl....terrible. We drove over 2 hours and she said you may have to come back 10-12 times before we let him go. What???? Drive over 2 hours 12 times? Why? She wouldn't let me near the little guy either.... My boyfriend went in, by that time I was almost in tears - she was that bad. I felt she just wanted us to leave without having to deal with anything. Disgusted, and I can't imagine someone like her being kind to the animals judging by what I witnessed today.
