This location and staff are top notch. I never walk in and do not immediately get promoted to find something. They also are very knowledgeable. Even with how small this location is they have an excellent selection and if they don’t they have offered to order it. I DO NOT go to Lowe’s or Home Depot anymore after my experience at this store. You should go here if you want to obtain any of your hardware needs.

Salk's is The convenience store of the bigger names. Like Cumberland farms to stop and shop.There's a good chance they'll have what you need and convenient because it's right up the road. But you're going to pay for it!There's a great selection of hardware i will say.

Local place with great customer service. Given the size of the establishment they are not gonna have everything that the big box stores do. I will say that they do have more then you think. But you cannot beat the service and knowledge that workers have. I have never had a bad experience here.

Great customer service and amazing selection. They also offer delivery in the Warwick area. From fixing up your boat to filling your propane tank, Salk's in Warwick is my preferred Helpful Hardware Store.

Salk's is good if you need something in a pinch and don't feel like driving all the way to a big box retailer to get it. The staff is knowledgeable enough to help you find what you are looking for. Wish there was a bit more variety, but it is a small store so I understand it has limitations.

I like this place. They usually have one or two of the hard to find items you need in stock. Tar paper yep, 1 roll. Insulation, one roll. Its like they always have that one thing you need because you run out at the end of a job. 2x4? Yep 3 in stock, strapping yup we got a couple. What a great place. Almost as good as Bennys was. Excellent assortment of plumbing, marine, paint, snacks and off brand soda thats really good. Friendly staff.

Very helpful staff and a great selection of products in many different categories... Forget about the big box depot by the time you walk across the parking lot and into the depot find what you're looking for or God forbid you need help finding something ...you have spent a half hour or more in Ace it's five minutes and I'm out the door and back on the tasks at hand... I like the fact that it's big enough to have ample merchandise on the shelf and small enough to remember me when I go shopping.... I had paid for and forgotten a broom at the cash register after getting to boat I realized that I left the broom it was late Saturday afternoon and they were closing up when I left Sunday and Monday I was busy but Tuesday I returned without my receipt that was left on the boat and yes sir the cashier said I remember you you forgot your broom .... That's awesome customer service... Great job please keep doing what you do... Thanks for being in our neighborhood...loyal customer for life... Pizza power

The staff is always helpful with finding what I need, even when I don't know what it is! It is my go to when I am doing projects in the house or in the yard. I love that it is still family owned even under the Ace name.

Once again, they have exactly what I needed. Always amazed that they can house so much (and well organized) in such a small foot print. The big box stores have infinite space and I can never find what I need or I find where it is supposed to be but there is an empty slot.Such a great place to have so close to home.

Nice to have a local store that has so much to offer. I’m usually in grabbing some hardware/screws for jobs around the house. They can be a bit pricey which is the reason for the 4 stars, but overall they are within range of most competitors. I am always greeted right away and always within close reach of an employee. Almost all of the employee on the sales floor are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

I love Salks, I've been shopping there for as long as I have been building things. They have excellent tools, an AMAZING fastener section and a little bit of everything else. Sometimes good solutions to problems come from the marine world and they have 3 full aisles of boating and marine supplies. To top it off, they sharpen, cut glass, repair screens and there is always someone knowledgeable to help when you have a question.

Customer service was very rude. I understand we are going through a pandemic however i walked in to the store to have 3 screens fixed. I got in line which was only 6 customers at the time and the clerk at the cashier desk, she was very rude automatically turning business away . i literally was waiting in line and she spoke out saying we are not doing screen repairs. It was very rude how she came off. Just place a sign outside your business to say you are not doing the regular services that you provide. Hell you post on your website that your other location doesn't do screens. You just lost a customer and I will share with many!

Stopped to buy 4 step fertilizer and grub preventer. Store clerk got the bags. Loaded my car, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Service and greeting here is always terrific. A great alternative to large box stores. Also best price for propane in the area.

Remember the personal service of years ago? It still exists at Salk's. We found out about this store a few years ago when I Googled a product and Salk's was the closest store that carried it. It's a little bit of a drive from our house, so I called the store to double-check on whether they really carried the item. The woman on the phone was pleasant, and she confirmed that they had the item. We took the drive to the store and bought the item. Since then, we gladly drive to Salk's because of the friendly service. It has plenty of parking and is easy to find.

I'm a little disappointed they don't offer a military discount, but they regularly send me $10 off coupons. The staff are very helpful and willing to answer questions if you have them. I've used a lot of the paints they sell to repaint my home and have been very happy with the results. They offer everything you'd imagine a hardware store sells as well as a lot of marine items for boats.

If you're in the area, there's no other place to go! Salk's Ace Hardware has this employee, I only know him as "Ol' Sweepy." This man is actually a national treasure. I had this gnarly stain in a steel tub, four to five contractors all told me to replace the tub. Ol' Sweepy?? "Hit that with a pumice stone, it'll come right out!" Ol' Sweepy was right... Shop at Salk's. Confide in Ol' Sweepy. This place will steer you proper!

I've been going to Salks for years. The last few months multiple items I have bought were priced incorrectly. Went in for a blade for my saw today and saw one marked under $13. It rings out at $16 which is way too high. When I asked the clerk she sent someone back to check the price. Then the 3mployee who checked the price changed it to $13.99. I then told her that still wasn't the price and went back to look myself only to find that he moved the blades and ripped the price off the tag. Kinda odd considering the bar code matched the tag he ripped off and did not match where he put it. Very dishonest employee.

We live right up the street so it is very convenient for us. We also like that they have all the "little" items that are hard to find other places. We have always had great customer service too. We appreciate that they carry all the "little" items.

I love a love hate feeling about this place great to have close by when you need something quick in maintaining your home office etc but will definitely pay more than anywhere else (my experience) but what bothers me more than anything is the people that work there either get can I help you asked over and over by the same person to the point your so uncomfortable you either just leave or just let them help with with anything to make it stop or the opposite will happen the customer service is difficult to get but I definitely appreciate the propane tank refills

Hands down the best local hardware store. They have alot more than you would think and the prices are alot cheaper than Lowes and Home Depot on most items. The customer service is outstanding and they offer coupons all the time.

I make custom picture frames (among other things) and they are my go-to for precision cut glass.Always great service and fair prices. It's amazing all the inventory they have.
