I enjoyed my visit to this Petco. They have a great range of animals and fish, and they were all quite active during my time there. The store is large, and there are plenty of products for pretty much anything pet related. I like the doggie treat bar, and the gerbils were pretty amazing. Stop in sometime you can even take your dog.

Kiki groomed my Teddy for the first time, and Let me tell you. She was absolutely amazing. What a really nice job she did. And you can tell that she put effort into my animal. Loved it!!!! Thanks Kiki :).

Looking for cat calming spray I saw online. The price in the store was higher so I thought I just missed the sale. I told a store salesperson and she gave me the sale price. No problem. Great customer service.

Earlier today, my husband and I went to PetCo to view some fish as well as reptiles in hopes to add an addition to our home. The manager on duty was extremely disrespectful to us insisting that we were unfit to care for the animal because we have a child and telling us we know nothing about taking care of the animal when we have both owned reptiles and many other animals as well. She insisted we knew nothing though we have done our own research. She was upset that we were making an “impulsive purchase” when we weren’t, we didn’t know they would have chameleons there so we needed to get a set up and she told us the one they carried wasn’t good enough! Lost a sale over her own opinion and tried her hardest to get us to not purchase it then claimed she could do so because they can deny a purchase. We gave NO reason to deny. After we then called the store to try and ask what we would need for the animal and she became hostile and claimed we were harassing her. This is unacceptable behavior to customers who are loyal & come monthly for pet supplies as well as spend every dollar needed to take care of the pet. Disheartening.

Manager is super friendly once I explained the situation about the other location and how they were horrible with my dogs grooming she was super accommodating and understanding. I can’t say I will ever go back to the Cranston location again but thank you Warwick for taking my pup in to fix his hair. I can’t thank you guys enough. I won’t trust any other location than you

I took my fur baby in here for some pjs. The store was clean. Staff is super nice, great prices!! Unfortunately, my baby doesn't like the pjs, but I was told I could return them within 30 days, so we'll be back to get something else! Which is great I was worried after I got home and saw she didn't like them I'd be stuck with them! But I called and they said just bring receipt and return them. Great store! Also almost every employee said hello to me and and asked my dogs name which I love and asked before giving her treats . Two paws up! 🐾

Me and the wife had an excellent time going thru clothes for it our little one. Ends up that a sweater has completely changed our dog. For the better, of course. Very good and happy service.

Terrible experience with Petco. I have brought my 1year old samoyed for grooming at this location multiple times without issue, although my last visit was absolutely disgraceful. I booked a wash and cut in addition to a shed release package as my dog is shedding his coat. Upon arriving the staff were extremely rude and judgmental, insisting that my dog needs to be brushed daily (he is brushed regularly and is a very fluffy boy) and treated me as if my dog was neglected due to the appearance of his fur, which falls in clumps during shedding. I disregarded the comments and body language and was told his groom would take 3-4 hours, which I expected. I received a call from Petco roughly 2.5 hours later, telling me that the staff were unable to perform his groom as my dog was “squirming” and displayed aggressive behavior. My dog has never displayed any type of aggression (biting, nipping, growling etc.) and is social with everyone, including strangers. Upon arriving to pick my dog up, staff were obnoxiously rude stating that my dog needs “extensive” training in order to “function in society”. Furthermore, staff stated that my dog is anxious, which he can be at times and receives medication as needed, however was not provided medication due to Petco’s policy stating that dogs cannot be groomed if medicated. Due to his unmedicated anxiety at the time of service, I was told that Petco would not groom him in the future. My dog was visibly shaken and cowering when I arrived to pick him up, which was not a regular response for him. Upon seeing me, he became visibly excited and urinated on the ground, which is also not his normal behavior, however, staff stated that “normal” dogs do not urinate when excited or scared. While looking at him with disgust, it was stated that “he can’t even control his bladder.” Additionally, I was charged $100 for a groom that was not performed. I have never had an experience like this in my years of being a Petco customer. My dog has been groomed and even happily photographed afterwards, without issue. I will never visit this location or Petco in general, ever again.

We just bought a hamster there yesterday. There was a good number of them to choose from. But this guy actually came forward to greet our son, so I guess that was a match 😀They had a few various rodents, a bunch of ferrets, a parakeet couple, and 2 parrots among live animals. All looked healthy and active.There was a nice selection of geckos and other lizards as well.The prices are a bit high as usual. Frankly, I always prefer to order online with some discount and then pick it up at the store.But the assortment is good, you can find almost anything there.And the staff was really nice and helpful.

When we adopted this 8th month old golden doodle she was adorable and heavily matted and the temperature was I'm the 90's so I took her to Petco to get shaved down. She had never been to a pet store and was afraid of the automatic doors and it took love and patience to get her into the store, when I finally got her into the grooming room she was very afraid. This is where the story gets good. The groomer Brianna saw that the dog was afraid and sat down on the floor and approached her backwards, my doodle started licking her and then became trustful of the groomer! Now this doodle is comfortable and I can really see her personality. By the time her hair grows out she will be ready for the winter!

I am so grateful for the grooming staff here. My puppy is extremely anxious, but the staff was so comforting and took the time to reassure me that he would be okay. They allowed me to bring in my dog days before the appointment to get him familiar with the grooming salon and so he could sniff around. He was also able to meet Gray, the groomer that he would be working with.Speaking of Gray- she was magnificent. She was able to cut him, clean his ears, and trim his nails in just two hours so that he wouldn’t have to spend any extra time sitting around or waiting in the salon. She provides a calming and comforting presence for dogs with anxiety, and I will certainly continue to make the trip from CT for all of my future grooming appointments.
