This place is incredible. I went in for the first time today. It has so much of the fish stuff I need. I will probably go back next weekend because it's such a great place. I was really surprised. They also reptile stuff, and had two puppies who looked very healthy. I will definitely be going back.

The staff is always nice. I brought my dog from there almost 4 years ago and he's the best dog ever. Smart and healthy as an ox. I now go there for my aquarium needs. They have everything, know everything about what stuff to buy. And have way more different and exotic animals than a commercial chain pet store.

This place is great! The prices are cheaper than commercial pet stores, and the staff is very knowledgeable about what they are talking about. The fish are all high quality and well cared for and my girlfriend and I came here to buy some salt water fish for our tank. They have a very wide selection of clown fish. Although it is a bit of a drive to get there from where we live, it is DEFINITELY worth it.

My boyfriend & I went about a week ago to purchase a new aquarium. Im pretty sure the employee who helped us was Kayla & she was great & filled with knowledge! She showed us what we need & what to do. Helped us building the tank, combining different fish, she knew her stuff. Let me tell you, it was expensive!! First day our total was $830. The next day we bought the fish which was $350. But, I am in-love with our new tank & babies. We have discus, angels, neon tetras, clown loaches & a catfish & they’re all compatible.

Came here for the first time today. I have been to the fish bowl in Fall River, and to be honest I thought that place was bad... this one takes the cake. I was the only person in the store besides my wife and both employees failed to ask if I needed any help. I won't review on the dogs or rabbits as they weren't my reason for stopping in but the store was extremely un kept. I counted 5 dead ocellaris clown fish in one tank. They have a blue tang for $130 with Lymphocystis and it looked terrible. The frag tank or what they call a frag tank is sad and way, wayyyyyy over priced for what the are selling. The fresh water fish looked better than the salt. But my problem here is if you can't take great pride in caring for all your animals, maybe you should consider eliminating that section from your store. The stores look extremely unkept. The smell is very overpowering and the poor puppies looked like they were desperate for love and attention....and a bath. Don't believe me, stop by and see for yourself.

Been here a total of 3 times over the last 10 years maybe…every single time was to see if there was any change and honestly I’m not too sure how this place has been in business for over 20 years. If you are an aquarium hobbyist I recommend any one of the OSA stores in the area and as far as other animals and reptiles you’d be better off literally anywhere but here. Just thought I’d help the new hobbyists before they get scammed! I’m convinced most of these 4 and 5 star reviews are fake because there’s just no way. Also, I can’t wait to see the owner comment something stupid in reply to this review that just goes to show you how unprofessional the place is as a whole and they’re only worried about one thing…the money in your pockets!🤣🤣

Amazing selection and knowledgeable staff members. Left with exactly what I was looking for and having all questions answered. Hours are the best for any non corporate giant which is a major plus in my eyes! Will definitely be returning.

I knew better than to trust this place i gave them a chance when i walked in i could see several dead fish around fish room and visible ick on some of the mollies i asked if that particular part of the store was in a separate water system than the rummy nose tetras the person working said yes i could see the tetras had little color but that couldve been from being young or just general stress the employee told me it was fine that it was just because they were being kept at 76 degrees i brought them home acclimated just fine and within a day i had 1 dead tetra and the next day all 5 i purchased were dead mind you i have a 75 gallon tank pushing 30 to 40 fish many different species and a pair of rummy nose already this place is gross go to osa for a better experience i will never make the mistake of going here again

Cute little shop. Very clean. Sometimes, going there, I feel I am talking to total burnouts. A 2 min transaction can run 5 to 10 mins. I find myself standing at the counter for far too long every time.

Has some more exotic fish, but normally a couple at a time. Most fish reasonably priced. They have some fish together that really shouldn't be. Visable bites and ripped fins. Overall, prefer the fall river location.

I had some time to kill with my 4 year old. I had driven past this place a million times and never gone in. So i decided to check it out. They had this absolutely adorable, sweet puppy running around the store. My son fell in love and played with the dog for over an hour. The staff were amazing about letting my 4 year old run around with the dog. We said our goodbyes and went home with the plan to return the next day with our dog to see if they got along. The test went great. The staff were really good about letting the dogs meet and have some time together. We walked out with this little fellow. He has been the most amazing addition to our family. He has the best personality. Very smart and trainable. Very social with other dogs. They really did a great job with him. We couldn't be happier with our new pup.

I love going in there, and I would love to support a local business… but I hate going in there and seeing 70 to 80 dead fish floating in the tanks every day. Even so I’ve tried getting fish from there to try to support a local family and they always die. And they have even crashed entire tanks of mine. (Tanks that had been running for years without problems.)
