Not a bad location! There are lots of great products for less in here! It's not a massive Job Lot location though. The staff is fairly kind as well. I was able to stock up on some stuff :) The store is a bit messy though.Overall Rating: 8/10 🔥🔥

Very often Ocean State Job Lots have many windows and have a vintage signage reminiscent of the ol' Filene's Basement in Downtown Crossing. This one is not your traditional Job Lot, looking more like a municipal dark brown bricked turtle that could withstand the most recent wind storm that left so many without power.So, if you are looking for this Job Lot, look for the sign and then look for a windowless brown brick building.Oh, but once you in, once you go in, it is entirely different. It has the feeling of the other Job Lots like you are looking amongst the various trinkets and thingamajigs for the treasure you want to buy. An old school experience from the somewhat fake facades of common retail stores today.Gary was a wonderful employee who was able to assist me in finding out if they carried Paleo Flour Mix from Bob's Red Mill, they didn't, but they had 100 other items that were good for cooking either way.A tip, make sure to check a few other Job Lots because after their 40% off the entire store, all 100+ stores, they are gonna run out of some inventory.Thanks, y'all. Hope you enjoy it.

Went to the Wakefield location looking for a grill brush. The website indicated multiple options available. However, when I asked a manager for assistance, she barely glanced at the product photo before dismissing its availability. It would’ve been appreciated if she had taken a moment to point me towards the grill supplies section or even inquire with another staff member. The store itself felt disorganized, and there seemed to be a lack of employees on the floor. A touch more effort and a bit of guidance is all a customer asks for sometimes. Left feeling unsatisfied.

Clean store, helpful staff and the morale seems pretty good. More and more, I ask staff about product and am not disappointed. Most of the product is pretty decent, and like Benny's they do a fair amount of seasonal product.TLDR just an engineer venting... The one deterrent that is always present is the burden of navigating if they are even moderatly busy. The parking lot is the sloped and undersized, always challenging and time consuming. Not completely their fault, but perhaps the giant and barely used carriage return could be moved further away from the entrance where it really makes sense! The main curb cut encourages all in and out traffic in one spot requiring immediate slow navigating and traffic conflicts on route 108. I would think closing it and forcing people to enter elsewhere would encourage faster parking in the outer rows and less struggle. This store takes a long time and sometimes I skip it when the parking lot has more than a few cars. It's a cramped store as it is, and seeing more than a few cars just means a slow journey and a long wait at the registers.It's too bad they don't have some sort of lower level entrance with an elevator where Benny's auto bay was. There's abundant and unused parking to the north, but it's an entire story down and moving carriages to and from involves both a steep hill and sharing space with traffic. Some smart parking lot designer should be able to do something affordable to make this less scary for the abundant older population I see in the store! Would it pay off? That would be a fun question to answer!

Prices are great but the layout of the store feels a little cramped. The aisles seemed more narrow than the Job Lot in Westerly. I had my mother in a wheelchair with me and we could not access the shoes, for example.

love this place for great deals, $4 for lightweight beach towels and honestly have lasted us so long. They could be more attentive to their registers but the corporation itself is pretty cool !

Recently made a purchase at this location for a dehumidifier. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from a gentlemen named Tim. I believe he was the manager on duty...as he was polite, eager to help, and very knowledgeable. Retail and customer service industries need more people like him. Will be returning for similar and general shopping needs. Make sure you stop in to Job Lot and check their inventory before making appliance/electronics purchases from neighboring businesses or major box stores! Excellent experience.

They have gone downhill lately.I used to like shopping there. Empty shelves, disheveled & can't find items they used to have. What is most maddening is that so many items have no price on them or on the shelf. I won't buy if I don't know the price and I won't even bring to register and have to say NO and look too poor or cheap and have to turn it back. My wife said it looks like they are going out of business... ???

Once in awhile you can find a good item for a reasonable price otherwise there's a lot of trees low quality items throughout the store. Have a great selection of spices at good prices. Sometimes you can find a good snack in there as well.

Great variety of this and that needs. From spices to plant pots, clothes, and discount coffees and teas. They are usually lower priced than Lowes or Home Depot for some basic items as well.It's worth it to join their programs to get even bigger discounts. They also have a buy for $10 and get $10 back on a card for some food items.I also like their end of season roll outs. You can get some major purchases with a Crazy gift card for close to equivalent value.I bought a Kayak and got $100 back a few years ago as well as a free car kit to carry it.

Job Lot has discount priced items that are usually good enough satisfy the thrifty shopper. Bought an air conditioner with missing parts and they took it back, no questions asked. Definitely worth your while checking them out!! 😃

Still a very helpful location for the usual Job Lot affair. The selection is a bit smaller though, because the store is much smaller than your average Job Lot. As I understand it, this was actually their first store. I'm glad to see it still here, but some of the aisles are definitely too cramped. If you're looking for something you would usually see in another Job Lot though, chances are it's going to be here.

It's a job lot cheap affordable general closeout wholesale box store.. merchandise is lot availability which means in stock until sold for most items. But there are some things which are under regular allotment or on regular rotation but the lot items are usually great buys for whatever they may be as the savings are imparted into the consumer... so if your looking for a deal on unique items this is the spot also one of the few places providing seasonal pool supplies ...good to know if your trying to find chlorine etc...🐲✖

Meh. Went to the one in Wakefield. They didn't have what I was looking for, the store felt very cramped and crowded and I waited in line for 10 minutes and the line didn't even move! There were 3 people in line ahead of me and my mom was waiting for me in the car so I gave up and left. I like the Richmond store much better!

A great source of all kinds of cooking, decorating and kitchen supplies. Then they have all kinds of gadgets in limited supply, so if you see it buy it. Great buys on holiday baking tins and buffet food pans. Great happy staff, too!

The store itself is too small. The aisles are very cramped, there isn't much room at all near the registers, and it just looks generally cluttered and dirty. However, the deals are great and the employees are very friendly and helpful.

It is a shame that this location is staffed with a bunch of moody teens with bad attitudes. I have visited this store on multiple occasions and have observed coworkers swearing and arguing with each other at the check out counter, I have been completely ignored by staff while waiting to be checked out, and I have been continuously met with minimal to no effort in basic human interaction. My advice, if you do not want to interact with people, do not get a job in customer service. Management needs to work on their store morale. Best of luck.

Great prices. Something's you need to watch out when you purchase food and check the dates. They are great at taking things back,no problems returning. Have bought several nice jackets at great price, but the zipper broke after 2nd time zipping it on the 1st jacket and the 2nd jacket zipper broke 1st time but because it was past the 30days they wouldn't let me exchange or return

Tight, crammed and High Prices. Do yourself a favor and shop WalMart for better pricing, faster checkout and Newer Products. Job lot has gone downhill with the lack of customer service, pricing and good quality products.

Job Lot always has what I need and a whole lot more. My Mom was looking for basil and they had beautiful plants...basil, phlox and sunflowers outside in front. Pleasant employees, albeit, a bit noisy yelling across the aisles at each other, but they were friendly and fun.
