I grew up across the river from Tiverton...I have gotten back there almost every summer for the past 30 years, and I get to the other side of the Sakonnet every year. I don't know when the Moose Cafe started its tenure, but I am glad that it did. You take the old Harbor Mall exit off of 24 to Stafford Rd and you can't miss it. This past weekend I spontaneously needed a place that could accommodate parents, sisters, nieces and cousins for a casual lunch, and the Moose Cafe was recommended. We arrived at 12:30pm on a Saturday, and the crowd was minimal but steady for the duration of our visit. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. There was plenty of space to service my small party of seven. The counter service was friendly and attentive. The food portions were decent and tasted fine. Nothing was bad, but almost nothing stood out as a destination meal event. Totally enjoyable experience, and not too expensive. I even got a stuffed quahog when the main competitors had closed for the season. Quahog was good, and definitely not what I am used to. However, I will definitely be visiting again next time I am home in the summer...the ice cream/sundae/frappe menu is probably one of the most extensive that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I had to order plain Jane scoops for my dad and nieces, but they enjoyed them. The ice cream cone/cup menu is pretty astonishing, and I almost can't believe that they have that many individual flavors. I have to assume that they give Gray's a run for their money. There is also an attractive but limited bakery option. And...there is also a very decent ice cream cake/cookie selection. If you are in town, then you should definitely check it out.

I usually get the black raspberry and chocolate chip. It’s always good. Now that the warmer weather is here, I ordered my favorite once again. They changed their recipe. The color was that of dark purple. The color was lighter. The texture of the ice cream wasn’t its normal smooth creaminess. I know food, it felt like the batch of ice cream is watered down. Which also changed the flavor profile. Go back to the original recipe and don’t water it down.

My father and I have been here twice; once during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when only their drive-thru was open. The Moose Café makes scrumptious pastries, warm caramel apple cider, and creamy soft-serve in over 200 flavors! On our most recent trip, I did not like the healthy quinoa salad, the ingredient combination was not desirable.

We discovered the Moose Cafe while visiting the Farmer’s Market. Everything from the service to food was amazing. We will definitely eat here again when visiting the area.

I ordered a 2 scoop sundae and it was the smallest I've ever seen for $5.75. It was the size that you would purchase for a child. The ice cream didn't even fill the smallest bowl they had. The girls were all in a rush because it was 7:30 and they close at 8 o'clock. When I questioned the girl about the size she had an attitude. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Definitely not worth it. I wish I took a picture of it.

April 26th @6:30pmToday I was very disappointed with the service i received from the two girls at the window. I ordered a regular size hard serve cake batter in a cup with rainbow sprinkles. Super simple. They gave me chocolate sprinkles. So I went back in line at the drive thru and I apologized and said, “I am so sorry but I asked for rainbow sprinkles,” you could tell she was already annoyed. Didn’t apologize at all, and said “Oh I can give you the rainbow sprinkles on the side.” Like huh??? I don’t want the chocolate sprinkles on my ice cream!!! Use your brain! I just said I didn’t want that. Why am I paying $6 for something I don’t even want??? So I asked her to remake it. And she paused, again, didn’t say sorry AT ALL and said, “drive up.” I drive up and apologized again and they didn’t even say sorry and rolled their eyes as if I was the inconvenience and gave me even less ice cream LOL. It’s an inconvenience that I now have to drive back in line at the drive thru, wait ten mins for other people to get their order. Didn’t get an apology. Nothing. Like you’re literally standing in one spot, making ice cream for four hours. Literally grow up. I shouldn’t be the one apologizing!!! I hope they get fired for their nasty attitude and poor customer service. Shame on you! You wont make it in the real world acting that way.

We love the Moose. We always stop before our trip home to Jersey. This visit, we came twice. The breakfast sandwiches are good. The Purple Rain smoothie was unbelievably delicious.My only qualms are with the menu: 1. With so many options, the hand written menu can be hard to read. 2. Not all items are listed on the menu online (smoothies, for instance).

If you're looking for ice cream or sweets this is the place. Coffee is hit or miss. The first time I went it was great, but recently I had a mocha here and it could have been better. Really friendly staff and a LOT of ice cream flavors.

I enjoy the food and service here. It's is real food not mass market processed food like you get at fast food places. The sandwiches seem a little pricey at around $10 but it is convenient. The people who work there are always pleasant and helpful.

I got the signature frozen coffee and it's amazing! It's awesome coffee flavor in a blended ice drink and it's not too sweet. I also tried the frozen pink lemonade and it's pleasantly tart. Staff was super friendly and their menu selection is HUMONGOUS! Will be going back for sure!

Amazing! Love their coffee and pastry. Never tried any of their sandwiches. Huge selection for flavors of ice cream, toppings, etc. My only problem when I go is struggling to make up my mind on which flavor ice cream I want to try next cause they have so many that sound so good lol and I've never tried one I didn't like.

Decent ice cream, but poor customer service. We missed toppings on our sundaes after she asked us twice. She stuck the iPad close enough for me to pay and then hit the no tip button. Good place but they need to focus on training their staff to have more personality or else people aren’t going to come back. Half the battle is product the other half is service and they didn’t do well. Other times I’ve been it’s been better but tonight was a thumbs down.👎🏻

Usually it’s always a great experience with excellent service. I started off informing them a little girl dripped ice cream down the display and was a mess on the floor. The blonde with with pink hair, rolled her eyes and said I know. Then I ordered my normal stuff I get. The two slushes I got had no lemonade so I said something. I said these were suppose to be lemonade. The same girl came over saying they have it, rude. So I stated I have had this many times it does not have it. She told girl make it but it’s going to taste the same again rolling her eyes. So I tossed the one with out lemonade in the trash. The new ones were made with lemonade and tasted how they normally do. I was thrown off with the service today!!!

It’s been some years since I’ve been. But, the waffle bowls are phenomenal! The mix-ins are perfect! The portions are large for a reasonable price. It’s a cozy place, and the drive through is a convenient bonus. I’ve always had a pleasant experience here.
