I grew up going to Grays but haven’t been in almost a decade. I was shocked at the prices considering I’ve been to other places recently with homemade ice cream that are not nearly as expensive. The kids loved their ice cream. My husband had the butter crunch but said there wasn’t much crunch in it. I had the orange pineapple which was always my staple there. It was good but not as good as I remember it to be. The main issue is that at the bottom of the cup there was maple walnut mixed in. Luckily I don’t have an allergy but this could have been very dangerous for someone that does. Overall, I’m disappointed and won’t be making the hour drive again for awhile.

Great ice cream, not too sweet. We picked frozen yogurts: Maple Walnut is ok, but Blueberry is delicious.

I had a pistachio ice cream that instead of pistachios. It had a pistachio pudding inside the ice cream delicious. My traveling companion had the Maple ice cream she told me it was delicious.

Historic Tiverton is one of the most picturesque villages in the Ocean State, and Gray’s is located in the middle of town at the four corners. Mrs. Annie Gray began selling ice cream out of this shop in 1923, back when it was churned in nearby Fall River, Massachusetts. Starting with only four flavors, the business has grown to over 40 flavors plus a short-order counter and general store, as Gray’s continues to draw customers from surrounding towns, the shore, and beyond.

Every time I go, I can't help but take a visit back to my childhood with my family sitting on the rock wall enjoying ice cream and looking at the cows. The cows are long gone, but the ice cream is still the best hard homemade ice cream ever(they have never had soft serve, but you won't mind! After my nostalgic visit, I purchased the prepackaged quart of blueberry to bring home.

Noticing the disarray of the behind the scenes and the lack of cleanliness practices between cashing out and scooping, I was mortified to see the same cashier who handled my cash (I actually had a few paper bills, how rare) bare handed and tight gripped my cone without gloves or a napkin barrier.While all of the employees seemed quite young, it is impressive they were organized enough to keep the flow of ever growing line down.That being the only positive, I might suggest a servsafe certification course?While the ice cream itself was smooth and flavorful I couldn’t find anything that differentiated it. Would I be able to tell it was homemade in a blind taste test with convince store samples? Probably not. That being said I didn’t throw it out, so give it a try.

It’s well worth the scenic ride to historic Tiverton Four Corners and try Grey’s Ice Cream! One of my favorites is Grapenut, it’s like eating frozen grapenut pudding. Mmmmm so good!

Gray’s Ice Cream is one of my most favorite places! I went there on my first date with my partner because we had found out that both of our favorite flavor of ice cream was Lemon and Gray’s has the best Lemon ice cream in all of New England! It’s a very special place for us and we’ll always go whenever we get the chance.

If you like non serve safe, change handling dispassionate teenagers manhandling your cone with their non gloved fingers, then this is the place for you. Step right up for your Walmart tasting cone. What a fall from "Grays". As a local, a real disappointment. 2 stars for nostalgia..otherwise...no stars.

Sorry folks, had not been here in years. So having tried a dozen regional Ice Cream locations, it is not my favorite despite its popularity with many of my friends. ;) them stuffing my large ice-cream into a small cup made a huge mess. ;) Use bigger bowls next time.Dr B enjoyed his.

Plenty of parking and some outdoor seating. There's also an indoor shop. The ice cream is very good and the staff offered quick service even when large groups are present

There was a huge line when we got there but it moved very quickly...the cashier was extremely nice and helped us with our order without a hiccup...the ice cream at Gray's is top notch and they have just about every flavor you would want including frozen yogurt and I believe some vegan choices as well...been coming to Gray's since I was a child n I'm sure that's not gonna stop any time soon...

Sending a note of disappointment. We arrived as the clock turned 7pm. The google search lists you as being open until 9pm.Drove here from Warwick to try your home made ice cream.  Lights turned off as we walked to the counter. I knocked on the window to ask if we could still get ice cream for our family of four - 2 adults and 2 children.One staff member was kind enough to open the window and seemed as though he would have helped us, another staff member walked over, said you were closed and shut and locked the window as I stood there with my 4 and 6 year old.Not what I would have expected from a family owned establishment.

Iconic!Good selection of flavors and the waffle cones are out of this world!!!!Sizes are decent. I had a small and it was just right. A large is too large for most. Just an FYIMy 6 year Olds wanted 2 flavors and it had to be a large. The waffle cone plus ice cream was the size of their head lolI'm not complaining just giving out the info. Prices were ok. They do take cards.I will keep going there. ❤️👍

I ordered the blueberry ice cream. It was tasty, but everyone in my group who ordered it (three people) all agreed it was a touch on the bland side. I also hope Gray’s will consider getting rid of the styrofoam cups :( There’s really no good reason to use materials that are so bad for the environment when there are better alternatives.

We tried their ice cream and was severely disappointed. Tried pistachio and cherry vanilla, both had terrible aftertaste to them and were not very flavorful.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl and they never disappoint! Took a little ride there with my dog and when I ordered his vanilla ice cream they asked "is this for your dog?". They gave him two dog treats with his ice cream! And they always have frozen pudding, my favorite flavor ever! Thanks for always being so wonderful!

Ice cream continues to earth a high score.But...the focus here is the service.Two people; one taking orders, one filling orders. (There was a third person, but their function wasn't clear.) That setup didn't seem efficient, especially for more involved orders. Not faulting the workers; they were of good cheer. Maybe having two people fill orders would result in a friendly flow for all. Once the treat was in hand, I was glad I stopped by. Thank you, all!
