Meeting a friend for a long walk and as usual I was early. There are no tables inside hence it is a take & go establishment. I tried their hot chai latte & it was great on such a cold day. Spring & Summer months you can sit outside & relax 😎Parking: Parking is difficult as it is a main road but you can park at Grinnells Beach a little further up the road & walk up or patiently wait for folks to leave.

This place was bopping on a Sunday morning. The line was 5 persons deep at 9am but it moves quickly.Peanut butter latte was incredible. Coconut latte was OK -- definitely suffered from being a little watery. Generally I think they are known for their flavored drinks anyways, and now I know why!

A really yummy place for coffee! I got the peanut butter cup iced coffee and it wasn't too sweet so you could still taste the coffee. Very busy on a Sunday.

Love the location and the shop. The coffee beans tasted burnt to me but if you like an extremely dark roast you will love this coffee. Wanted to like it I just couldn't force myself to do so.

I kept running into the issue of finding a good coffee spot, to later having to deal with hit or miss coffee due to inconsistent preparation, until now. This place is amazing! From their selection of drinks, both hot or iced, to their customer service, everything screams quality. The coffee tastes like the bean is harvested every morning, and it’s made just the way I like it each time. 5 stars!

This place is the best, hands down.My wife likes it because it has gluten free options. Donuts and muffins, for example.I like it because the coffee tastes great, and it doesn't cost your hat to get a few treats and a drink. They also have hot cross buns on the weekends, which I love.But the wonder of this place is a hot summer day. Because there's no indoor seating, you get your coffee and treats and sit on their deck area. Perfect view of the water and the day. Great for dogs, too. Lovely.

I can’t say enough good things about Coastal Roasters!!! They have been in business for 21 years, because they make some of the best coffee around. They also do smoothies and have some great locally made goodies. We happily make the drive over from Newport, because this place is awesome!

This is my go to on days off or downtime. You just can’t beat the quality of the coffee here and the freshness. The atmosphere is very laid-back, especially the outdoor seating and views. I will drive out of my way just to come to the coffee shop to grab a drink when I can.

Awesome cup of coffee!We had to stop to pick up cups of coffee before we headed out to fish then made a return trip to get iced coffee and some whole bean bags of coffee to bring home.The selection of coffee, iced or hot,is great.They also have a ton of other drinks to try so make a stop next time you drive by.

Amazing coffee and the killer view is just a bonus. Get a coffee and stay a bit on a nice day as there is very little seating inside.

I absolutely love this place! I go all the time. I usually get either a strawberry banana smoothie with some sugar or an iced caramel almond milk latte and they are both to die for! Large selection for drinks, usually has things like scones or cookies you can buy along with a bunch of other stuff. The staff is so cheerful, helpful and patient especially when you can't decide what to get. Does not take long at all to get your drinks. Probably takes the usual amount of time you'd wait at any coffee shop, sometimes less. I definitely recommend this place.

First time here, been wanting to try them out for a while. They did not disappoint. The variety of coffees, hot and cold, as well as smoothies was a little overwhelming so I just asked for an iced coffee that was chocolate. The woman at the counter was super friendly & helpful. Very small inside so you order inside, then wait outside & they bring your order out when it is ready. We grabbed two Adirondack chairs with a view of the water. Very relaxing. My mocha coffee was delicious and my bf's frozen hot chocolate was a must have. Will be back!

We loved it so much the first time, that we went back first thing the next day... and then the following day. The location is so cute. There's the water in the background and a little outdoor seating arrangement off to the side. The cafe offers merchandise and you can create your own tea to bring home. The caramel latte was heavenly. I had it hot and it was just perfect as I sat facing the water on a cool Autumn day. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Visited while on vacation in the area - they have an excellent selection of coffee and loose leaf teas, but the best offering are their variety of smoothies. They let you add coffee or espresso to any variety of smoothie, which feature both chocolate and fruit varieties. Dogs are welcome! Seating available outdoors overlooking the water. Small building but if there are a lot of people, it is definitely worth the wait. 😊

Let's face it, this is some of the best coffee on this side of the Sakonnet Bridge. Many local shops even use their beans, some even in the Warren and the East Providence area!This gem is right on the water, with lots of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for your nice weather enjoyment. Inside seating is limited to a table that's usually occupied by the locals. Even if it was available you probably wouldn't want to sit there since the place is so busy the line usually wraps around the table. There is a restroom that sometimes says employees only because of the beach traffic that sometimes comes over, but just ask they'll probably let you use it!Their roaster is right in the open, and if you plan your trip right you might just get to see them roasting the beautiful beans into magical goodness!This place is the Cheers of coffee, if you're a local, you're bound to bump into a few people you know! Guaranteed!They have a large menu available offering a wide array of drinks. Sometimes the staff isn't friendly, but I'm willing to forgive that based off the coffee. Also, I'd probably be pretty grumpy too if people were just tossing money at me as they left instead of waiting in line.This is a must stop if in the area, the views are beautiful and the coffee is fantastic!
