Today, I found everything on my shopping list, plus a couple of splurge items for myself. I was lucky enough to find an electric cart at full charge. The cashier was pretty quick and efficient in packing paper bags. When I got home, I saw on my receipt something called incentive earned, which I read that this North Smithfield Walmart is part of a pilot program of some sort. Unsure how it benefits myself, because I do not receive cash benefits, just food stamps...

They don’t have big lot where semi- truck can be parked. But truck entrance and exit have little space where can park and spend a 10 hour break.

The store itself was fine, actually found their produce better than S&S. However, when I got home I realized the cashier had charged me for 3 different items - 3x so I paid triple for those items. Check your receipts!

Christmas time review. This is a very big Walmart. I found it super hard to find anything I was looking for. The staff members were pleasant, but not very well informed and as such weren’t able to help me out much. This is a super Walmart and there is a grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, and other services available that are associated with all super Walmart Stores. Self service lines are highly encouraged- in fact, there were only 3 full service checkout lines five days before Christmas. This caused long waits and tired employees. I’m not saying I’ll never go back, but I’ll wait a while and certainly not go there around Christmas. All in all... it’s what you would expect from a big Walmart at Christmas time. Happy holidays!

We used to love coming to this north Smithfield but the last two trips we have found bad produce when getting home.Last Thursday we bought a bag of red onions, brought them home and over half of them were rotten the day we got them. We also bought a meal kit that was great - corned beef cabbage potato’s and carrots all in one container - cabbage was bad so made almost everything except the corned beef smell awful.Saturday we went and bought a bag of yellow potato’s, brought them home immediately opened them and they were soaking wet, rotting, and smelt awful.One could argue that this should have been noticed in store but my boyfriend wasn’t inspecting each bagged item these should be gone through, it’s one thing if you buy a bag and one potato doesn’t look great so you chuck it. Both these bags were rotting.And this was all within a few days of each orher.Check your produce Walmart.

I had one of the worst experiences there this afternoon where the grey haired older receipt checker went through MY bags I’m sorry but once you buy something from a store it’s no longer THERES IS BECOMES YOURS AND MY PRIVACY WAS INVADED I will NEVER be shopping in Walmarts store again going through someone’s items should be highly illegal not only that YOUR RECEIPTS aren’t even supposed to be checked you have a RIGHT to refuse instead of being held hostage at the door until a receipt is shown.

They have a great selection of camping gear ready for the fall season or ready for the summer camping season going on right now. Not many recreation stores carry the propane canisters so it’s really nice to see that this Walmart has them and offers them in a two pack. Awesome job! And helpful staff!

My favorite moments at this store:1. I got to watch a guy tweaking out on drugs harass women at self checkout and exclaim loudly while using the register as a back scratcher "This new stuff from my guy is GREAT", and when I confronted Brosnan security, they said it was their boss and told me I was overreacting.2. I today 3.3.24 at around noon got to watch a man physically abuse his daughter in front of everyone (outside lawn and garden) hitting her, screaming profanities at her, and slamming her into a cart over and over... and Brosnan security once again did nothing. Called the cops and gave a description but I doubt it amounted to anything. I can only imagine what happened when she got home if dad was OK with doing that in public.3. Every single time I go here, there are arguments about the line for checkout once it gets too long. There is no delineation about where the overflowed line should go and like clockwork whenever folks go to check out, theres always someone wanting to start a fight because they think it should be going one way and not the other.Im just going to start doing the delivery because its nuts that I literally have to go to walmart with pepper spray on me.

Love this place...the workers are hardworking and kind, food and other products are reasonable in price, cheaper than Amazon in some things, and excellent quality. Their customer support very helpful. My experience has been nothing but a five star experience...thank u Walmart

One stop and you can get everything from good to clothes to your prescriptions!!! They have friendly helpful staff and prices you just can't beat!!!! I love how they have hot food made to order and a dunkin donuts!! They even have a hair salon And cell phone shop that sells cases and fixes phone screens!!

Waited at the formula case they have them all locked up in a case.. kept pressing the button waiting for assistance after about 7 employees walked past me and 20 minutes went by..I left annoyed. won’t be buying formula there ever. If customers can’t get assistance don’t have them all locked up..put them in the alarm locks that they have to take off at cashiers registers… isn’t the first time I’ve had to wait a long period of time for assistance at the formula case at this Walmart location.

Not so great experience with this store using their grocery delivery service. Shoppers forged my signature multiple times whilst delivering to the wrong address. Tried contacting store about issues, they never answered the phone.

Usually five stars however last visit I was approached by staff stating I should cash out half way through my purchase since my food stamps may reject which I found very offensive since I was paying cash and usually spend over 300 which won't be at that store ever again how embarrassing and rude

Parking was an issue, seen 2 handicap spots used by non handicap cars. Security driving around the lot and did nothing about it. Walmart ( Northsmithfield, R. I. ). To cold to get out of the warm truck ???

There are a lot of empty shelves here and I have started to notice that Stop and Shop has cheaper prices on a lot of the things we buy. I guess it's time to start going through the sale flyers from the local grocery stores again.UPDATE 12/2022: Local supermarkets continue to have lower prices and I will not buy Walmart/Great Value canned vegetables ever again. The quality is so poor now, with stems and bad spots.UPDATE 03/03/23: Got a birthday cake that doesn't expire until tomorrow for $12 instead of $20! Walmart still has good cakes.
