Dr Suzanne has taken care of our pets for about 17 years. She has dealt with our dogs health issues including seizures, antibiotic resistant UTI’s, cancers and diabetes. She has always had options for us and we’ve always felt that our opinions mattered. She goes above and beyond for our pets and ourselves. She most recently cared for our Doberman with Diabetes and Lymphoma. When something came up, we always knew she would get us in in a timely manner to see him. When it was his time, the euthanasia process was peaceful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was so obvious that they all truly cared about what we were going through. We received paw prints, nose prints and a beautiful card with his ashes which was so thoughtful . We would absolutely continue to bring any future pets to Dr Suzanne and her staff! We are so grateful to have found such an amazing vet to care for our fur babies.

The staff and dr is so through compassionate and caring to my dog . They treat him like he’s there own pet . Any time he has a issue big or small they will either see him that day or the next day . And there reasonably priced !!

We started going here in May 2023. Both visits have been great. The staff is kind and great to work with. They squeezed us in when I was in a pinch in May. Our dog seems to like it here more, too. He isn't as skittish when he is there. We are thankful to have found a great vet to transfer over too.

Very clean and inviting environment. Every staff member we had contact with was very nice. We brought our cat in for a concern we had and it didn't feel like they were pushy with anything (didn't jump right to bloodwork or other expensive tests) like I feel other vets have been in the past, also didn't push buying things from them which I appreciated as well. When we've gone to other vets I have always felt like they spend the entire visit just telling me about all the things I should be buying for my cat etc. It was such a refreshing visit and I feel our cat got great care. So glad we made the switch to this vet!

My dog has been seen twice at this vet. Both times we were seen promptly. Everyone from the receptionist , technicians, and the vets were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

I helped one of my dogs cross the rainbow bridge here a few months ago and I could instantly tell by the attitude of the staff that I would most likely be returning in the future for other animals. The staff were extremely patient and gentle with my family dog and the few of us who were there. I really appreciated that I could feel their sympathy yet they stayed extremely professional throughout the entire process. They even have a little lamp on the front desk that explains when the light is on to please use hushed tones, as a family is currently saying goodbye. The light was on still when my family left the room. It meant a lot. When I got a dog a few months later I kept in mind the amazing treatment at Slatersville Veterinary. Lo and behold, having a pit mix, she ended up needing to go to the vet for some issues. This visit went just as well as I could ever hope for my reactive pup. Plus, never once did I feel pressured into buying something the practice sells; Of course things were mentioned, though they were never brought up more than once. They do very amazing work here.

I brought my 16 yr old cat Nellie into Slatersville Veterinary today for an exam. The result of the exam was that she had a large tumor in her stomach and there was nothing that could be done for her. I really appreciated the care, concern, and kindness shown by the entire staff. We visited veterinarian Suzanne Scott at Slatersville Veterinary Clinic yesterday for a first time checkup for our Australian Shepherd. During the visit all shots were updated, blood was drawn for heart worm and Lyme disease tests. The two techs we saw were knowledgeable and very helpful. They all took their time to answer questions and explain fully. The facility is fairly new and they keep it very clean. We will stick with this vet.

had a missed appointment with my other vet and have been searching around for new vets for my pup and stumbled upon the only opening at this clinic. To say I was nervous would be an understatement, as it was our first visit and my boy being a pit mix can make some uneasy as well as his nervousness with new people due to his PTSD. The staff in the waiting room were more then happy to answer any and all my questions while keeping my boy comfortable. Dr.Suzanne is absolutely amazing and super professional. My boyfriend and I greatly appreciate the time she and the vet tech took getting my boy more comfortable and familiar with them. Super friendly and safe environment with lots of positive people ! After this 1 appointment I have fully chosen to switch my pup over to this clinic and I trust Dr. Suzanne and her expertise. Would truly recommend this clinic for any nervous dog mamas or papas as they are super accommodating. Thanks again !

I’ve had many companions over the years and trusted their care in numerous vets , which were ok, but I have never felt so confident in my pups healthcare until I met Dr. Scott and her staff.(I called for an emergency appointment at our regular vet and was told they were very busy and could fit him in next month or to go to ocean state if it was an emergency. ) After searching veterinary near me I found Doctor Scott and gave getting an appointment a shot. The receptionist was so caring and listened to my pups issues and fit him in within 2 days . I’ve been bringing my 2 pups there ever since and every person there is nothing but amazing , THE ENTIRE STAFF , from the second you walk in until you leave, they actually care about your pup 🐶 ❤️

I'm very disappointed in my experience with Slatersville Veterinary clinic.Physically, it's a clean environment with very helpful, kind and welcoming front desk staff.However, my disappointment comes from a lack of diligence and care from the staff. Last week, I was extremely concerned that there was something wrong with my 6 month old kitten. I called the vet and explained the situation - as a new cat mom I wanted to make sure I wasn't blowing things out of proportion. They listened attentively, saying that they would check with the doctor as the issue may be very severe, and would call me back with next steps and advice, since they didn't have an appointment available (which is okay, I get it, these places get busy!) A half hour goes by, no returned call. I call a couple other vets who explain what could be going on, provide numbers for emergency veterinary clinics, and offer advice. It's been 4 days since they would "call me back in a minute". My phone just rang, and it was them. I was interested to see if they were finally calling me back about the issue - nope. Just confirming an appointment that my cat had coming up. I cancelled, I'll be taking my cats somewhere where the veterinary staff doesn't treat them as disposable.This is the second time something like this has happened, the first time being with my other cat. Lack of communication, and an overall lack of concern for the health and well being of their patients. Extremely disappointed.

They are polite and kind. They are the first place to not scold me for not bringing my indoor cat to the vet more often. The couple of places over the years and one shelter made it worse because I couldn't keep her. So I had my defenses up but they were kind both visits. I will bring my other cat for her check up. Thank you.

The staff at Slatersville is always kind and helpful. When they were closed recently for an emergency I panicked and switched vets as my dog needs life saving fluids and meds. I quickly apologized to Slatersville and am taking my dog back to them. They are understanding, empathetic and warm. My dog loves them and I sincerely appreciate them because having a sick pet it very stressful.

Dr. Suzanne has taken care of my animals for about 15 years. She is easily the most caring, compassionate, and understanding veterinarian I have met. She truly listens to her clients, never making them feel rushed or obligated to pursue procedures, tests, or products. My very anxious GSD was very relaxed in the room with Dr. Suzanne. When an animal choses to like somebody and feels relaxed in their presence, that tells me a lot about a person. All of that said, I really could not recommend Dr. Suzanne enough.

Dr Scott and her staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to make both you and your pet feel at ease. Dr Scott takes her time getting to know both you and your best friend. I would not trust my fur-babies with anyone else! Highly Recommend!!

Dr.Scott is one of the best veterinarians around. She explains in everting in depth and all options for your pet. She is also very personable with each customer and gets to know them. I would recommend her to anyone. Also the front staff is very respectful and cheerful.
