Brought my Doberman Pinscher here to get her nails clipped. She won't let anyone touch her feet. The women who work here are very kind and understanding. She took her time, did a great job on Byrdies' nails. While she was getting her nails done another worker who was passing by saw how frightened and stressed Byrdie was and she took the time to stop and pet, and reassure her that she would be ok! So thoughtful. We will be going back next week for round 2! I was also very impressed by the fact that you can bring your dog in and for something like $20 you can rent a little area where you can wash and dry your dog yourself.

The store and customer service I find to be excellent! The only reason the stars are lower is because of the Petco Vital Care nutrition. Every 9 nutrition purchases the program is supposed to give the customer a free bag of food. I’ve been buying food for a year and none of the purchases were counted. The store isn’t able to do anything to help the customer so when I call the 800 number I got the run around and spoke to four different people before someone bothered to count all my missing purchases. It’s been weeks and I’m still without those free coupons for the food and the Petco phone customer service is just awful to deal with. I ask for a supervisor but no one is ever available to come to the phone. So I say be prepared to deal with this aggravation of you ever need to call customer service for anything. They seem to pick and choose who they help and it all depends on the agent you get on the phone. It’s too bad the store doesn’t have any control over it and give the customers the earned discounts. There really shouldn’t be such a huge disconnect between the store and the telephone customer service but there is and I feel for anyone who has to call them. I’ve started an FTC complaint against Petco’s telephone customer service regarding my situation because they assist consumers. If anyone else has experienced something similar I recommend filing online with the FTC and or Attorney Generals Office. They have the power to reach out to management whereas we the consumer clearly aren’t able too. Other than that I love the people that work in the store and I bring my dog there all the time just to walk around and have some socialization. Just wish the phone customer service people were better than they are because it leaves a sour taste in your mouth about the entire brand.

Reception was overcrowded, few people were in control of their dogs. Gave my name and Sat on window sill. Someone came from back and told us to use benches around corner- great idea. Get a sign! Finally inside, I was reluctant to let our dog Rocky go for treatment alone but decided, ok. The vet that brought him out was wonderful. Detailed review and truly cares about her patients. His treatment made the trip worthwhile.

Great location in general, clean, well ran and friendly staff. If you're coming here for supplies for your dog or cat you should be alright. If you are looking for pet food/ supplies for FERRETS you will waste your time. This particular location doesn't carry ferret supplies but the location in Warwick near 5 guys and 5 below does

Best experience my dog has ever had doing vaccines! He's had such bad experiences with his normal vet in the past and has caused extreme anxiety even while sedated. The two women were super patient with him and didn't rush him. He normally needs to be muzzled when getting vaccines and he was perfectly fine with them with no muzzle. I appreciate these women so much for taking the time to sit with him to earn his trust before rushing into giving shots. We will definitely be back!

Petco has a good variety of animal food and treats. Prices are reasonable 😉. Plus I bought two adorable Guinea Pigs from this location. They "popcorn" a lot.Update: I got three more guinea pigs and I save so much money with Vital Care Premier. Worth the investment, to improve the quality of life of my guinea pigs!!!

I took my new puppy to get her nails clipped by Isabella. Isabella was wonderful with her! I will definitely be returning! I've returned since and have had Rhonda as a regular groomer. Another fantastic staff member who I now always ask for.

Went in for an antibiotic spray that was advertised on their website. Took a bit of a drive to get here. When arrived told that it was discontinued. Although the assistant gave us a discount on a close substitute, it was approximately 3/5 of what we needed, and thus 3/5 stars. If you're going there to pick up an item, you might want to call in advance and make sure it's actually physically there.

I hate this store. AVOID. Just do Chewy or another online store. These guys can't keep anything in stock. They don't do online orders so you can't order something online and then pick it up at the store. They close way too early considering summer hours (I was 4 minutes late for the early 8 o'clock closing).

I stopped here to have both of my dogs groomed for the first time. I was impressed with the way the store looked inside and out. It is definitely more updated than the stores in Providence and North Attleboro. This store has a vet, Grooming Salon, and a self-service Pet Wash. All the racks, displays, and aisles were stocked and well-organized. Rhonda in the grooming salon was helpful from start to finish. She was even able to text me when the dogs were done with a personalized message. The price was higher here than competitors, but I was satisfied and it was worth the money spent.

Check your prices online before you go! This company literally tries to scam their customers into paying more for products in stores. I had to get my cat Vetericyn Antimicrobial Feline Facial Therapy for Cats for her chin. It says it’s about $12.99 online. In the store it rang in as almost $22! The product is 12.99 on their website, Amazon, chewy and other pet sites. When I asked the cashier why it was so much more than online she said that’s just the price. I told her that if I go online right now and order to pick up in the store it would be $12.99. Not $22. She then went on her phone to look it up and she saw that it is cheaper on their website and she changed the price to $12.99. If I hadn’t had said anything, I would’ve gotten scammed out of almost $10. I then started to notice that almost all of the other products were a lot more in-store than they were on their own website. That’s pretty horrible that they try to milk money out of their customers like that. Especially when there’s a petsmart right down the street and a new Amazon warehouse about to open as well. I will never go back to Petco again.

The store itself is alright. Grooming is terrible. especially the male staff member and the female who likes to advertises she’s been here for two plus years. All inexperienced untrained unkind grooming staff. I left there feeling terrible my dog left scared and panicked. They are agressive people who stand all in there grooming room doing nothing but talk. It’s always busy here and a bath and brush cost close to 100 dollars. It’s worth brining your dog to a professional groomer where they are made to feel safe and people are professional.

Only a few here know what they are talking about. I stood outside with me 2 daughters as the locked the door before 8pm. I tried to rush and get my girls out the car and got to the door for 8/8:01 pm they just starred at us and didn’t say anything. They had us stand there! Unprofessional. Don’t lock your doors before the closing time! And if it’s snowing or freezing maybe next time ask a mother what she may need. You don’t know what it took for her to get there!!!!!!

Waited three weeks for an appt at vetco. . Because my dog has been having seizures. They called to confirm my appt morning of. Totally fine you don’t need to do confirmation calls but if there’s something you need to bring to an appt they should tell you, But they mentioned nothing to me about bringing anything to this appt. Nor did they when I booked the appt. I Went in for my appt. I Sat in the room for about 45 mins then a lady came in and told me they won’t do a blood test (that I came in for) unless they give a rabies vaccine - over vaccinate my dog! They stated they needed prof of rabies vaccination. ( I understand that. I own a grooming salon). They wouldn’t accept the two forms of prof of the vaccine I had because it wasn’t the actual rabies certificate. Maybe if they would have told me they needed it, I would have absolutely brought it because my dog is SICK. I am extremely upset with this business after waiting three weeks to get this appt to get the test done. Health isn’t something you mess around with. DISCUSSED

I like to shop this store especially since I can bring my dog with me. Find their pricing on dog food a bit too high and pricing on doggie toys is crazy high.Get more competitive with the market!Chewy and Amazon prices are much better.
