Amazing Pharmacy experience!! I had to split my prescriptions between two Pharmacies because of inventory, and they sent my second one outside of Mass to Rhode Island down the street. The pharm techs were amazing, friendly, knew their business very well, and even though they had never used the unusual monitor I got through prescription, they learned it with me and helped me use the equipment while setting my expectations for when I needed to use it. When something didn't line up, they immediately fixed it within a few minutes. Thank you, all!!! You are significantly wonderful!!!

The girl at the front desk was absolutely lovely. She was polite and kind. She listened to me when I informed her that the 70% off Valentine’s Day items we’re not ringing up correctly that they were only taking 50% off versus 75%. The pharmacy tech was also very polite.However, there was no indication that the photo center was not an operation. I sat diligently at the kiosk for an hour and 1/2 with no one in sight. I even called the store it rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and then I turned around and this lovely lady was having a conversation with some customers… She said the kiosk gets turned off and won’t be out again till 7 o’clock in the morning! Could the district manager kindly reach out to me? This is outrageous! Thank you very much I will leave my phone number at the front desk once again thank you and wishing you all the best .

The women who works the drive up pharmacy window every Sunday morning is always completely rude. I don’t look forward to that type of service first thing on a Sunday morning. She also has a very hard time with spelling and takes a while to find my name. Doesn’t do good for productivity.

Of all the CVS pharmacies that I use to get my prescriptions the North Smithfield CVS at 120 Eddie Dowling Hywy. Is definitely the best in the area.With corporate issues constantly changing staff this is the last store with Pharmacists that have actually been with the company over 25 years. So kudos to Heather, Irene, and other staff that always greet you with a smile and help with what ever customers throw at them.I would hope that executives at CVS could harness what ever this store does and clone to other locations. Experience counts!!Thank youGary

I got my flu and updated covid shots here about a month ago. Very clean, friendly staff, and the health worker who gave me my shots was kind and affable. Would definitely come here again for my pharmacy needs. Thanks CVS!

If I could give no stars, I would. Rude staff, including blatant discrimination by Manny the Pharmacist. You wait in the drive thru for a very long time and get to the window to be told either to circle back around, it’s not filled, or that they already filled it when you haven’t received it. They hand you bags of prescriptions you haven’t been on for ages and say they auto refilled it when you never had it on auto refill and don’t want or need it. “Well we refilled it so here you go!” Then when you need medication and run out because of their error, they grudgingly give you a three day hold over and slam the window. I am always kind and patient (despite my inward frustration for some time now) and yet still they are impatient and unhelpful. Staff answers the window rubbing their temples and saying “Oh my God I have a migraine.” I get that you’re always short staffed and I now see that CVS is a terrible company who mistreats their employees. But people still need their medications! I hope this gets fixed before some poor person has serious medication withdrawals or can’t get medication they need to survive. This is a shameful way to run a business. Text notifications stopped working and they haven’t been able to fix it, yet rescue inhalers were even put back among other urgently needed medications. We switched pharmacy companies and I’m so relieved to be done with this CVS.

The pharmacy here is a joke. The workers are never helpful or give you any real answers to your questions. I always have issues trying to get my prescription filled here. Either the medication is out of stock, they tell me I need a prior authorization when I actually don’t (tried to obtain one and the insurance company sent me a letter saying it wasn’t needed), they try to tell me my copay is higher than what it is (and when I tell them it’s not, they look in the computer and realize I’m right and end up adjusting it. But then the same thing keeps happening every month, even after they tell me it shouldn’t be an issue anymore.). Now you can’t even speak to a real person when you try calling the pharmacy. You just get a frustrating automated answering service that will direct you to voicemail instead of connecting you with a worker. I’ve been dealing with this pharmacy for years and all it’s ever given me is headaches and the issues only seem to be getting worse.

I have had nothing but great service and respect from this pharmacy. They are one if not the busiest cvs in the state so yes it can be very bust but thsts not their fault. Love this store treated me so well for many years now

Can you do no star??? They deserve less. Horrible service. Nasty employees. They don’t answer questions. No one picks up phone. I let the phone sit on hold while doing other things and found out you can wait an hour on hold and no one will pick up. The workers are rude. They yell at people. The only reason you have medicine there is because it’s 24 hours. You want to know why there is a delay with your medication you best call a different cvs and ask them become this one won’t tell you.

After speaking with the pharmacist personally and being promised that my medications would be definitely there every month I was lied to again. Went to get them filled and had to go to Cumberland because again they were out. This was after Partially switching from Cass Avenue Due to the same problem. Not to mention the employees are scanning their own cards to get points for themselves. So if you get prescriptions that are not through the state they are taking the prescription credits for themselves... It's just ridiculous! I am going to start looking to any other pharmacy I can find!!

A 45 plus minute hold time is unacceptable. I understand that the job of the pharmacy is more than just putting pills in a bottle, but it really takes a minute to answer the phone. Do you really think this is any way to treat people? Do you think this is acceptable business practice? I will NOT be doing business here again, and I will tell every person I know to do the same. CVS itself is horrible to its employees. Seems like all they want to do is torture them this store. They have no soul my wife’s been out of prescription for over a week. Can’t talk to anybody can’t get through to anybody and nobody cares. Absolutely nobody cares stay away from the store.

Disappointing service from this pharmacy. Whoever the tech was, she was extremely rude. She constantly interrupted me even when I voiced my concerns about a medication and each time she asked me a question. Put me on hold several times as well. When I finally got to speak to the pharmacist , he was a lot more polite and he actually answered my questions. Though it was incredibly frustrating and difficult to get any straight answers. If not for the pharmacist eventually answering my questions and the quick phone answering time, I would've given 1 star.It is always upsetting when those who choose to work in health care, knowing all they will deal with are sick people, also decide to treat those people so poorly. CVS, please be a little more respectful .

I called to confirm a list of a patient's medications. I presented myself as the doctor at a local hospital needing to reconcile medications. The person who answered the phone told me to call another CVS then immediately hung up before I could say anything else.

They text you that your rx is ready, however the pharmacy was closed when i got there. Out to lunch, although closing for lunch is not noted. A local thing. Being disabled, its no easy task getting to the drug store. Thanks a lot CVS. This on top of sending my order to the wrong pharmacy! I asked for delivery, but i live a mile into RI. Cant deliver from Mass to RI. What a freaking mess.

I received my COVID 19 Vaccine from this location in 03/2022. I lost my card, and I was told I could receive a paper copy from the store. They couldn't locate me in their system. I tried calling CVS customer support 8x's to find this record. Customer support inevitably told me to call the store and guess what? The automated system tells you to go online. First and last time I get vaccinated at CVS. It's so messy. I got my first vaccination at a sport stadium, and I got a copy of my record easily.

I don't know what happened over the last couple years but I've been going to this pharmacy for like 12 years it's convenient for my family and I to go to. Everytime I go now to pick up through the drive thru the girls are always rude in a bad mood. the last time i went they had a girl that speaks so quiet and you tell her you can't hear her and she continues to speak softly then she has another lady come over and obviously the lady didn't want to help she came to the window and she said WHAT DO YOU WANT. Like what do you think I want my sons prescription. They talk to me everytime with attitude and I'm there to just get me stuff and leave I never have any questions for them I just give my info and get me stuff and pay for it and in that time there so rude . There are two lady's that work there that are amazing ones and older lady and the other is young but I never get them anymore

My son tested positive for covid. I was told to get tested daily becuase we live together. I went to the pharmacy to ask where the test kits are in the store and the pharmacist was rude saying Asle 3 loudly like I was annoying him. He didn't say that you can take them to the pharmacy and run them through your insurance. After spending my bill money of 50.00 I got a reciept telling me to keep the reciept to and call my insurance Co. I called the insurance Co and they told me to go back in (I was still in the parking lot) and talk to the pharmacist. He was very annoyed that I was back to ask him what can be done. He said I was out of luck go to the front of store. The manager came over and said we can't return home test kits I get it but why did I have to be treated rudely by the pharmacist and why didn't he tell me when I first approached him to bring them over to run my insurance ? That would have saved all of us a lot of time and trouble !

I waited on hold to discuss a pharmacy medication ERROR. I waited for 12 minutes before the line disconnected. I called back and waited 42 minutes before giving up. I looked for an alternate phone number (store, photo, Minute Clinic, etc) but there is only the one number for everything. I understand they are busy, but what are customers supposed to do when the issue is urgent? Even if you choose the option as a provider (doctor, hospital, etc) you can only leave a message. Scary to know that even your doctor cannot reach them in an emergency! I have always used CVS but will be following another reviewer’s advice and switching to Stop and Shop - they simply cannot be worse.

Rude pharmacy. Was just trying to get a price on a prescription and was treated very poorly and then was told we do not have that drug in stock. Which is Lipitor one of the most popular drugs on the market. Is this a pharmacy of just a money grab company. They could not even tell me the firm price and I had all of the information on the drug and my benefit information. The guy keep telling me he can not guarantee that his quote is the final price. This is so they can fill the prescription and then tell me that the price is double the quote. Stay AWAY!!!

The staff is rude and less than competent.The whole pharmacy closes down at 1:30 PM for lunch. No services. Most companies have staggered lunch breaks but not this place. Glad I use mail order and only have to go their when someone is sick.

I'm not very happy with the pharmacy. I would put medications I was taken off of into the archive on the app, but they'd still fill them. They were told to only fill meds when I ordered them, but they'd do it on their own time. Some meds I have can last me two months at a time, I didn't need them filled every month. Have had to throw some away.

It amazes me that a customer cannot get through to this pharmacy over the phone. Over 15 minutes of on hold music AFTER 3 minutes of prompt questions, and still no human to pick up the receiver?? I mean customers are already doing A LOT of the job with online ordering, online paying, prepaid pick up, self checkouts.... What's left for the clerk to do except grabbing the Rx from a bin to hand it over? Still they're to busy after several minutes on hold to answer? This happens all the time here!! Ridiculous!

Pharmacy staff very rude. My son bought the wrong allergy medication for me and the wouldn't take it back while he was still in the store with his receipt? This is insane!? Claiming because its Sudafed!???? all I wanted was a different Sudafed, not a 24 hour one! Ramiro, the manager extremely extremely rude and shouldn't work in customer service nor pharmacy.

The people that work at this Pharmacy are completely rude. The lady behind the counter said can I help you with out even looking at me. I said I have a question she answered it rudely still with out any eye contact. So I just walked away. I understand that there are very busy but customer service goes a long way. This is the second time this is happened at this CVS.

I just wanted to let the pharmacist that gave my 5 year old daughter her shot today know that I really appreciated his patience and all of the strategies he was using to try to calm her down. I didn't catch his name, but it was at 11:00 on March 29. She was really scared and trying to hide behind a chair and he was so patient and offering lollipops, engaging her in conversation, letting her hold the bandaid etc. I know he probably has a billion other things to do, but he didn't pressure her and was very understanding!
