Went for appointment yesterday for wellness exam, vaccines and heart worm test. Tech took my dog in the back to get blood for the test and the vet brought him back. Apparently she did his exam while he was in the back. I have never gone for a vet appointment anywhere that the exam was done in a back area. They did the heart worm test but when I asked the results, the vet told me they would give me the results when I checked out. The person who checked me out said it wasn’t done yet and they would call or email the results. A heart worm test only takes about 15 min . Have not received the results yet. I checked the app to see if it would have any info, and the app said my appointment was missed. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

The nurse was very sweet asking questions and listening to what I had to say, asking me what was I expecting from they it and being very honest about if she was able to do what I asked. I really appreciate that. Before and after pic she has turn ORS and she can’t go to the groomer in fear they my cut it accidentally, her hair is thick and they aren’t visible. Thank you so much Vetco. Princess Knights.

Had my cat neutered here. A week later he was peeing blood. I’ve gone four times the past week, spent around $200 on tests and medicine, I still have no clear diagnosis, and my cat is still peeing blood. I don’t get the sense that many folks there actually care to help.

I have had such a headache of a time trying to get an appointment, today I got stuck in traffic behind a school bus and was about 5 minutes late. They refused to do a "full service" appointment, and I have had a horrible time trying to get an appointment. I'm switching to a specialist vet for a better experience as they only alot 15 minutes to see your pet

My wife and I live in Japan, and we traveled home to visit family during the holidays. All other offices in the area turned us away when we asked them to do the paperwork for the international health certificate.They took us in on a few days’ notice, and were quick to call for additional information as they completed the paperwork. Dr. Cooney even squeezed the paperwork in between her previously scheduled appointments and surgeries. We would have had to reschedule our flights to Japan and delay our return to work if it wasn’t for them!

Amazing service! The staff was friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. Took my cat in for his annual wellness check and rabies vaccine and it was great! More affordable than many clinics and they were super up front about costs.

Saw my dog, Edward, with no prior appointment and thirty minutes before closing when he had a gash on his forehead that he got playing outside. The price was fair and I got the satisfaction of having his wound cleaned and dressed immediately when every other vet refused to see us.Thank you to the staff at Vetco for taking care of us.

Tooks months to get a written script, they're high priced prescription prices, like pulling teeth to get them. Ridiculous and disrespectful.It’s been a year now and I continue with disappointment. If I could give a zero this past weekend I would. I can’t get my dogs medicine refill because no one wants to step up in the absence of Dr Cooney. Unbelievable. Where is the team work. I see other reviews where employees jump through hoops to help others, he’s got heart disease-why should my Versace not receive the same treatment. Closed on days scheduled as open and not post it so no refills, no backup for Dr Cooney coverage and her patients. I’m sure the other doctor has relied on assistance from Dr Cooney at some point. Let’s return the favor to her and step up. 4 days now I think someone’s avoiding helping me. It’s unfortunate these things continue.Just received a call back and I can go in now to get the script, thank the lord. A peaceful night for him.

Horrible business! I was told over the phone you’d have to bring your dog in for a consultation for spay/neuter, we did that and when we were out into a room and they came to exam her for the consultation then that’s when we were told we would be charged for a sick visit fee when the dog wasn’t sick! They basically scammed us into the appointment when I asked several questions prior this wasn’t brought up. Then today I get a invoice estimate ranging from $490-668 plus the 200+ bill for a consultation. That’s over $800 in a spay/neuter that cost half of what other places in Ri charge for a puppy that only weighs 35lbs. I’ve had my dog that is 130 lbs get neutered for 400 that’s reasonable. Not a 35lb puppy. Completely HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

I live in the East Bay and after trying in vain to get ANY vet in any of the towns around here to take my just-adopted puppy as a patient, all claiming to not be accepting new clients (which should be illegal, for animal or people doctors — they are in the business of HEALTHCARE and should never turn anyone away for any reason), I had the most WONDERFUL treatment from Vetco. They were exceedingly pleasant, even on a very busy day for them, and were more than happy to welcome us into their practice. In other words, the way it SHOULD be. Customer service (especially in healthcare) is so rare these days, it warrants mentioning when someone is caring, professional and welcoming, and I so appreciate these fine folks for their service (and it is truly that, a service to humankind and animal-kind).

Great care! Sweet people. Just wish a bit more informative. When I came in they sent me in a room and didn't tell me how long it'd be or what was going on and I was running late to work. But they provided exceptional al care to my cat for his neutering.

Everyone is always so great when I bring my boy in. (black lab) they were able to squeeze me in the first time for a skin infection within an hour and they've been our go to since. vetco total care premier is worth it if you decide this is a vet for you as it waves the office visit fee.

Dr.s Cooney and Yang are awesome! They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions during every visit. I'm especially impressed with the compassion they show towards my nervous, feisty chihuahua Cleo. Thank you for kindness and gentle handling with my little girl.

My first time at this location. When I explain what was going on with my pup Charlie they squeezed us in and took the time to listen to my concerns. The staff including the receptionist were really kind/friendly and professional.

Had my phone number wrong when they called the day before so my appointment was given to another and had to wait to be seen day of. Didn't get told in advance how much a spay would cost so I had to cancel a week later when I received the email stating how much it (might) cost which was an absolutely ridiculous amount. Also anytime I asked for a refund on the test I paid in advance for an answer was dodged and never received the call back I was supposedly going to get about it

My Shitzu 11 year old, was sick for one month, his eyes discharge white thing. I take to Vetco Total care, for second opinion. How the Dr. Treat him and give good medicine, My dog is healing. He has allergies really bad in the skin and the Dr give good medication. He is more better.

Arrived today and was informed that they had no record of my dog. I have 2021 Vetco Tag and email from last year visit. Instead they wanted for Hard copies, so I asked to return in 30 minutes with them and was told I won't be seen. Lack of compassion, lack of service, and where did my old petco vet records go since they had none ?

I brought my dog in for an ear infection. Was quoted approximate cost of $136 and walked out paying $186! They decided to add a physical exam which was not asked for or needed! We have a vet but it was a weekend and it was an ear ache! Tried to call to complain with no return call! They also stated on the said exam that my male dog was “intake”! He was neutered 12 yrs ago! Total scam to pad the prices with unneeded and unwanted services! BEWARE!

Incompetency at its finest from the manager and vet down to the blonde receptionist who is always in a bad mood. The quality of medicine is lackluster. Best advice is to just stay far away.
