Vanessa is wonderful I have been with her for a few years now for grooming services. This is the second dog of mine that she has groomed. Never had any issues, always has done a great job for both dogs.

The only reason I gave two stars is because the haircut was decent. Online the prices for my 4.4lb unmatted, well-behaved yorkiepoo is $70. When I went to pick up my pup she charged me $94. When I asked why she justified it by saying well you're not a member. Personally I don't like the hidden fee nonsense. She justifies it by saying she does 1 on 1. Which is fine for the $70. But to add an additional fee which is her giving herself a $20 tip. There is other groomers who actually come to your house for the same price and offer a 1 on 1. I would've been cool if she didn't hit me with the additional 20. Beware and ask for transparent pricing. Also for the same quality for and lesser price there is other groomers out there.

My Havanese, Astro, was groomed by Vanessa yesterday and looks amazing! My breeder takes all her dogs to Dapper Dog and urged me to try her. We could not be happier ! Vanessa grooms one dog at a time so your appointment is yours. Therefore she charges a cancellation fee, which I consider quite reasonable, to have her hold that time. I love that my dog is not sitting in a crate for hours waiting his turn.I feel truly fortunate to have found Vanessa and Dapper Dog. Vanessa is very professional and responds quickly to questions. We hope to have many years of Vanessa’s grooming and are loyal customers now!

Vanessa is the best dog groomer in our area. She is so knowledgeable, kind and gentle with all the pups. As a groomer myself, I look to her for advise and encouragement. I have personally watched her groom naughty dogs with the most loving and gentle touch. She has helped me on some of my busiest days and my clients still ask for her. If you have Vanessa as your dogs groomer, you are so very lucky!

For over a year my Poodle was groomed great- recently there seemed to be a problem, she seemed out of it- his last groom -ear hair ripped out,left sores- and 2 rather long cuts on his neck under his chin...this was so disturbing I decided to go else where. Then I decided I'd make an appoint,, and mention these concerns- see how it was handled...she shut it down and said she couldn't groom him any more! I would have had more respect for her if she had dealt with it head on!!My dog really liked her...

My Chihuahua Tuco really needed his nails trimmed and I've been looking for a new place. I texted and got an appointment at 1230 the same day. Vanessa was awesome and great with my dog as well as did an amazing job while we waited. I have definitely found a new groomer. I would recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend Dapper Dog! Vanessa is extremely professional and does an outstanding job. I love that when I have an appointment she takes the dog right away and the dog is promptly groomed. My dog always comes home looking like a little centerfold! As a side note, I hate to think that my dog is crated for hours as other grooming facilities are prone to do. No crating at Dapper Dog unless it’s for safety purposes.

I lost my vet to closure and my pups were overdue for a haircut. We made an appointment via text message for my 2 doggie babies for a day that was far out which is understandable. I ended up having to cancel so I did it the day before and I was told that I could only make another appointment after I paid $100 cancelation fee. I am a new customer who canceled at 1pm the day before my appointment which seems like the money is more important than a new customer. My pups are like family and I have to say I found it very off that this business only took text messages as communication which is extremely impersonal and leaves alot of misinterpretation of intentions. It is very unfortunate because there is a shortage in dog groomers but this one at least with me was extremely impersonal and unprofessional. I'm sure had I had the chance to we could have enjoyed a long term relationship but hey everything happens for a reason and this business must not value me or my pups as customers, which makes me thankful to have not trusted them with my pups care.

We have been taking both our puppies to Dapper Dog for over a year now. One is a Shitzsu and the other is a Chiwauwa mix. Dapper Dog is owner operated and Vanessa clearly loves animals. Our pets return just as happy as when they went in. Teddy ( Shitszu) grooming is so detailed, we keep him a little longer( she gives him the puppy cut) teddy is 16 years young and when he returns he truly looks like a puppy. Bella is the Chiwauwa, always returns clean and happy..If your looking for a professional who truly loves dogs I would highly recommend giving her a call…John, Tina, Teddy, and Bella

I can't say enough good things about Dapper Dog. I take my dog, Dexter, here to get his nails cut because he is an absolute pain in the butt and I can't do them myself at home :) I've taken him to several other groomers before and for the price, I don't feel they do a very good job trimming his nails, and he always seems anxious and unhappy to go to the groomer. I've taken him to Dapper Dog several times, and though I don't expect him to be excited to get his nails cut, his tail is always wagging and he is always happy to see Vanessa and her team! It's a phenomenal price for the value of the service, and I highly recommend Dapper Dog!

Would not EVER recommend this place unless you want your dog to look like a poodle! I explicitly asked the owner not to cut my dogs hair and just a light trim around the face. Spent 15 minutes explaining this to her (which should’ve been the first clue). Well.... she took it upon herself to cut my dogs hair so much that he looks like he was shaved! I will post pics on other review sites of how the owner handled my frustration. She was extremely unprofessional. Everyone I have shared the texts with is shocked!! If she thought my dog needed a cut after all, she should have 100% called me first and I would’ve told her no..: just like I did both in person and on my very first text to her!!! My bank is taking care of the refund but she should’ve done it, knowing that she was in the wrong! Like I said, I have it all in texts as well as pics of my dog before and after... if she had handled it professionally, I may have spared all the reviews but even my bank said that I better get on review sites and report what she did to my dog!!! She also didn’t even cut his nails which was the reason we brought him in the first place!!!

price is great better than petco and the ladies are amazing very nice friendly environment, its like a little play date for my dogs they get groomed and get to play with other dogs after which is nice for my fur babies to be social with other dogs and they both always look amazing after they get cut. i like that they always put a little feather in my females hair or a bandanna on my male they come out looking like a rock stars,, so cute
