The store is impeccably clean and we'll organized , usually always well stocked, the staff is beyond helpful and laid back , and Han is definitely one the coolest, nicest people I've ever met , great customer service, he makes it a personal goal to make every single customer feel like they have known each other for 30 years, give that man a raise.

Nice local hardware store. Doesn't carry a huge selection of "everything" like the more distant large building supply big box home supply stores. But is admirably stocked with a wide array of stuff typical for a good local hardware store.

I, at one point, had a theory that good service was just dead. It was over…. A thing of the past. This store proves that theory wrong every time I go in.The people who work here are super easy to talk to. They are eager to listen and actually help you. I mean physically go to an aisle and help.I could write a whole chapter here but just wanted to publicly praise this store and it’s incredible service. I believe in it again.

Best move the owner ever made was moving to this location and expanding their store. We now do 90% of our shopping here that we used to do at Home Depot. Friendly, knowledgeable staff to go along with the excellent variety of hardware/home needs.

Great place to go if you do not want to deal with the big Box stores. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, But their prices are higher than that of home depot or Lowe's.

I give this Ace 3 stars because their listed hardware/fitting/fasteners prices don't get updated when they increase the price.Normally this would only cost them 1 star, but after 2 years of saying something every time I notice a discrepancy (for my purchases this is every time), I wanted to leave a critical review.

Recently relocated from across the street to a larger building, this is a great Ace Hardware location. Good selection of all the odds and ends needed for your basic (and not so basic) home repairs. I'm less familiar with their paint offerings but the selection seems good. Finally, in my experience the staff has always been friendly, helpful and able to answer any questions I had.

The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! We use Benjamin Moore exclusively and have found their staff at this location to be far superior and kinder than the other Benjamin Moore store in Middletown on W. Main road. Can't recommend this location in Portsmouth enough; they are wonderful.

I've been a customer since 2011 and have always had great customer service. Pricier on some things but I'd rather pay extra than chase someone around home depot that usually can't answer questions anyway.

Ace is the place!!! Forget driving all the way down to Home Depot in Middletown. Ace is personalized with friendly knowledgeable staff and if they don't have what you need they offer to order it for you and they usually have it by the end of next business day. Much more personalized than bigger chain stores.

This is a new location and it's bright and clean. Staff is friendly and eager to help.I'm a bit biased because I go there a lot and they know me. But I do see them interact with customers . Wheelchair friendly also.
