We're been going to the Pet Salon since 2000 with our pets and we couldn't be happier. They have groomed our cocker spaniel, keeshon and now our poms. Everyone of our pets come out looking like a show dog. Kristin, her sister and everyone who works there loves their work and the pets that come in. We highly recommend them.

First time experience at Pet Salon with our Australian Shepard. Very pleasant on phone and upon greeting us at appointment. Andrea was attentive listening to our very specific requests. Seemed to take very good care of our and enjoy our dog and her job. Andrea and staff did an absolutely superb job!!!! A little on the pricey side, but worth it with a great result.

You couldn't ask for a nicer place to take your pets for grooming. Kristen and her staff are very friendly and they all genuinely care about our dogs. Their prices are probably a little bit on the high side but as they say, you get what you pay for. On more than a few occasions, they have looked after our dogs when our schedules have thrown us a curveball. Did I mention that our dogs look fantastic every time and they truly love going to the Pet Salon. I'd never take them any place else.

I love The Pet Salon! They came highly rated by the Portsmouth Veterinarians and I am so glad they told me about them.I bring my cats in for a 'spa day', a conditioning treatment, a good brushing and sometimes a trim. My long haired cat gets mats in her fur that cause her discomfort, they take such good care of her. I wouldn't say the price is "too high", it might not be "PetCo cheap", but its worth it to me for the extra care and attention. And the location is perfect for me too. I recommend them, highly!

These ladies do a great job and my dog always looks so handsome when he is done! They are super friendly. Their prices are in the reasonable range but on the high end. Because they do a great job and they are conveniently located, I am glad to pay the higher price. I took my dog to Petco once, which is cheaper and they did a horrible job! I immediately came back to the Pet Salon.

My puppers has severe anxiety, like on tranquilizers when being groomed. The Pet Salon is aware and takes great care to keep him calm and safe. I cannot recommend this grooming salon enough!

Our littke one runs into the saloon and can't wait to see Kristin and the girls. That tells me she feels safe. Little pricey but knowing she is safe and happy is worth it.

I had two cats bathed and groomed 185.00 after they quoted me 65.00 each which I already thought was high. The girl told me her price was a quote and they had to charge for a third person to bath cats. They are less than25 lbs each not a 100 pound mastiff. Then they told me my cats scratch,bite and hiss. One has seizures and does things on her own terms but they knew that because they have groomed them in the past. Even gave the option if cat get difficult not to bathe her just groom. So apparently you pet must be well behaved or that is extra. When I challenged price and asked to speak to owner they started telling me my cats were awful that others salons either do not groom cats or charge a minimum of 100.00. Then it got worse another girl who had no knowledge of any conversations inserted herself because the young woman who quoted me could not refute what I was saying and took pets in back behind locked door and called police. I asked price, quoted and agreed, never received called to authorize additional charges, they blackmailed me into paying by calling police and holding my pets hostage. Customer service not their forte suffice it to say and as far as I'm concerned they are stealing and fraudulent! The they took out no trespassing order. Do you honestly think I would return there? And yes I was angry and vocal. Last I checked that's my first amendment right but today they call it disorderly conduct if your not careful. What is this world coming too!Go somewhere else!

The Pet Salon is great! They know how to care for your pet and handle pets safely. It is a nice and clean place to bring your pet and they are friendly and full of knowledge on how to make your pets visit successful!!!

Sadly, NEVER returned my call. It's unbelievably difficult to find a groomer. Others at least returned my call and pointed my in the right direction. Yes, I did call more than once. Leaving a detailed message.

My cat has been going there years I call to make appointments there service seems like they have no clue anymore tried scheduling me 6 months out compared to calling before and being seen in a week. Me and Mr. Dibs will go elsewhere dont nead snotty rude customer service and astronomical wait times and double the price sad use to be great company
